You know, Decathlon is the only decent sporting goods shop in my area. And I really like that it's universal, meaning I can find anything for any kind of activity there. So it is easier for me to go to one place and buy everything in one sitting. Instead of wandering around different malls and shops looking for the swimming glasses and then for the bicycle pedals.
Decathlon might have some decent products. But if the assembly, packing and customer service are terrible it renders your product useless. I received a bike with a missing part and have been waiting for Decathlon response. You are better off with a local sports goods shop that will listen, fit your needs and result in a great experience rather than frustration.

You've lost a customer who's been spending money in your store for years.
I ordered a 40 euro curl bar from you, and you sent me a kid's scooter.
I've been on live chat and on the phone with your representatives for over an hour this morning trying to get you to make things right. All you have to do is arrange for a courier to come and pick up the WRONG item that I DID NOT ORDER from you.
The mistake is yours, and it is totally unacceptable to expect me to waste my time, energy and money printing off a return label and carrying this large box a mile across town to a Post NL pickup point.
You've lost a customer over your mistake and unprofessionalism over a 40 euro curl bar.
I will leave negative reviews everywhere I can and contact my back to charge bank on the order.

After hearing such great things about the trek 100 jacket, I ordered one. When I checked my email the order was cancelled without explanation. So if your goal is to be teased with a special price but not have the order completed, this is your store!
Been playing golf for nearly 40 yrs first time a bag has degraded so much in less than a year...Already falling apart and collapsing under it's own weight, When I asked for service online, was told to go to store where I purchased, alas I don't live near the store anymore. No phone number that works with Decathlon Laval, nobody even bothers to answer a phone. Book online for bike repair shop button is disabled. Good luck with any return or repair as the service is virtual non-existing.
Ordered online for over $700 of merchandise. After 1 month the package was still showing as not moving online.
Contacting the customer service by email was no clear answer. The status changed for delivered one day but no communication from Decathlon! My last email didn't ever get answered! After a call, the person told me they will take care of it and worst case they will refund me. I told them I didn't want that, I just want what I ordered. 1 day after no email, no call, and a refund!
Being from France I am used to pretty good customer service there. It seems that this part of the business didn't make it across the Atlantic! Don't order online, they don't know what they are doing and don't care about you! CEVA logistic, who is that?

Very disappointed and had a bad experience.
1 star is generous. Absolutely atrocious service. Don't buy anything from this store. E-Bike broke down within 6 months after paying £89 for a full service 3 months after purchase. Parts take weeks to arrive. They only employ 1 mechanic and when he is off, tough. No regard for people's circumstances. No replacement available. Called the store everyday, just to get told to call back the next day. Gave the bike in on 08.07.2023, today on 18.07.2023 the part still hasn't arrived. Also, the mechanic is off for the next 2 days, so it may be fixed after 2 weeks. Who knows. I cannot understand how it is taking 2 weeks to fix 1 e-bike. It is not a rocket ship. I would never purchase anything from this store and I would advise others to save their money and go somewhere else for better quality and most importantly service!

I got a badminton racket, product seem find until i used it and the metal broke right away.
Décathlon told me that i broke it playing and it's my fault. Plus the 30 day limit is past ( government shutdown in january, not able to play)

I needed to replace my camping mattresses for a 2 week camping trip out east. There was low inventory at one store and buying online for store pick up not available. So I called end of day Friday to put 2 on hold for pick up at open of business Sunday morning. They agreed. Then I get a call to say they were selling them to someone else in the store. What is the purpose of putting things on hold? If you give your word to a client, and revoke it you are tragically damaging their trust in you. I would have paid for them over the phone, but it was presented to me as "too bad so sad".

We ordered a bike for our daughter's birthday and the day she opened her present, the reflector on the bike was broken. Since the package was not damaged, we knew it came this way from the store. I contacted customer service, they offered us a 10% compensation or to return the bike. It was very disappointing, since this was a birthday present and a 10% seemed unfair. I will never use this retailer ever again.
I love cycling and hiking. Again and again, Decathlon has proven itself to have an excellent choice of all kinds of sports equipment - waterproof sneakers, rain coats, tents, hiking sticks, etc - with a price range that even I, who used to be an unemployed student working part-time, could afford. I can't recommend them enough.
I placed an order with them at the end of November. Now it is the end of December, not a blip from them and no goods received. No emails, no updates. Received a response once to say that "my order hasn't been picked yet" and that's all. Absolutely disgraceful. Stay away!

Short version - I wanted to replace a shoe due to a defect (never used, bought them the night before) and they asked me to pay extra because the price has changed! Furthermore when I said that I wont pay extra, they refused to give me the shoe with the defect as well so I went home without the shoes (they refunded the initial amount). On their website it is clearly written that you can request exchange of a defective product. I wrote to Decathlon Bulgaria, then I called them (as I thought it is just a misunderstanding) - the answer was that this is out of their scope and that I have to talk with a manager in the store, without pointing any name or contact information of him.

Just received a 9' so called French design Surfboard. The advertised photos show high quality multi layer fiber glass epoxy with a solid foam core and wooden stringer. Photo shown is the advertised construction.
The board arrived packed in flimsy cardboard packing made from at least 3 or 4 cardboard boxes taped together.
The board was badly damaged. I can see 'inside' the board and there is NOT a solid foam core. A black hole is inside. See photo. Little sign of foam core.
I managed to contact the French office and the lady refused to connect me with anyone who could speak English. Beware.
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS SHODDY COMPANY.

Very bad experience, I just paid bill and I adviced them, pls teach them good manners, and as well as it's not the first time, simply sales girls and boys roaming with mobile on tey r busy with social media, and they are not respond and they failed to promote ur valuable products and tey never failed to damage ur esteemed organisation,
The customer support is very poor. I have been trying to chase an open case with them for stolen/lost package. And they have no solution for it, instead they said they do not deal with stolen/lost situation.

On Jun 29 I purchased a folding bicycle from decathlon.com and it arrived damaged and unsafe to ride (See attached photographs). I called and emailed FedEx and was informed I have to contact the retailer (Decathlon) to start a claim on the damaged delivery. Since then, I have called 4 times and sent 6 emails to Decathlon's customer service (*******@decathl…). To date; I have not received a returned call and only received the same email auto-response. In order to get a claim started with FedEx I need Decathlon to respond to me, but they are ignoring me. So, lesson learned, STAY FAR AWAY FROM them unless you do not plan to have to return the item. You are better off going to www.Amazon.com.

I experienced a terrible service when i went to the Decathalon Kallang Outlet. A female staff was very helpful and rude. She gave an attitude when we just needed help. I understand everyone has problems in life but the least you can be is just nice.
I was pleased to see that Decathalon had my size in swimsuits and ordered three items. They all showed up one size too small. I would not have ordered them if it was not possible to get them in my size.
I tried to return them and customer services sent me a form to complete to get a label printed by Canada Post. Rather than automatically put the various reference numbers in the correct form, I had to have three separate documents open on my mobile. It is not easy. Why can the reference codes not automatically be pulled from the system?

Very poor online service and no response from customer care mail. Product is returned but yet not status updated and exchanged item is also wrong delivered
I received the Trek 100 down Jacket last weekend. It seemed to fight nice so I removed the tag from the inside of the jacket. Unfortunately when I tried to sit down wearing the jacket it was way to tight. I contacted Decathlon to see if I could exchange it but they said that they could not due to me having removed the tag. The fact that these jackets run small has been a known issue for years and they have made no effort to correct it. The reviews said to size up so I did and it was still to tight. I told them I have no other choice but to have the jacket measured by a tailor to see if their sizing was correct or if it is false advertising. I further stated I would be filing a complaint with the BBW and state attorney General. The sad thing is I love the jacket it looks really nice and appears to be really good quality. The tag appears to be bait as its not some little tag you can ignore its about 100 tiny tags in a little book all sewn to the side of the jacket so its not like you can wear it with out noticing the big not in your side.

This is a great jacket how ever be sure it fits you correctly before you remove the tag. I know that tag is thick and huge but leave it. I bought a size large and I am a slim medium. It was too tight to sit down in even with only a t-shirt under it. if you like to wear sweaters or layer make sure you trying doing this and if its not the correct fit exchange before removing that tag.
