Depositphotos is chock-a-block of amazing as well as lifelike photos. I have been habitual to get disappointed and anxious while I was searching for a good site even I kept finding every now and then, incessantly. Unluckily, I often found the sites that have tremendous tedious and stale photos. I always wanted to look different from my competitors. All of sudden someone grabbed me around the Depositphotos. It is an amazing and trustworthy service. I always got unique, high-quality, and high-resolution photos by this service. Thanks for the ton of tangible and attainable help.
I like this company and have been satisfied with the service.
The only suggestion I have is that the majority of people in the photos are very white/caucasian or Asian I am white myself :) but would really like to access other varieties of people in photos. Indigenous, South American, India, darker skin asiatic, etc
The only reason I give 4 and not 5 is that sometimes the site is difficult to navigate. Little things like adding images to favorites--it would be better if it popped up with a submenu of the favorites folders to add to. You have to change the folder beforehand at the bottom, but I am always adding images to favorites for different things--and end up adding them to the wrong folders.
But, again, the pricing/plan options are very reasonable... perfect for the freelance graphic designer who doesn't need/can't afford a huge plan!
I found a lot of great photos to put on my website. I really like the ability to download watermarked samples to use in development then easily swap out with the ones I purchase for download. The monthly membership is a very reasonable price and gives me the flexibility I need.
I'm happy with my purchases. I like that Deposit Photos is not locked into Adobe CSS, for those of us that don't use it. Vectors come in. Eps (usually) and also typically a. Jpg. I use Inkscape and can export as a large. Png if I'd like to manipulate in GIMP. I prefer this over Adobe Stock, which comes in. Ai format and does not play well with anything outside of Adobe CSS.
Had a lot of licensing questions. They were extremely thorough and made sure to answer questions with real answers instead of just sending me a link to the license that I read hundreds of times (dropped adobe stock photos because they kept giving me vague answers on license and their support really sucked in giving me clear answers that made sense). Overall really happy with the deposit photos selection, licensing terms, and pricing. The library also seems larger. And again, the customer support here really made the difference.
As an author and occasional blogger, I've looked for a site that would provide me with stock photos for covers, writing presentations and blog posts at a cost that wouldn't break the bank. Deposit Photos has various plans and I found just the right plan that was a much better deal than the leading stock photo sites. I'm enjoying using the amazing images and have already redone my book covers with images downloaded from Deposit Photos.
As others have stated, autorenew is selected by default. If you opted for pay as you go, you need to first disable autorenew and then you will be able to delete your credit card from their records. Very misleading practices, I won't be using them after I use up my credits. BTW, they don't allow for partial refund of credits, so buy as little as you need!
My friend buys photos and sell them for a higher price here. It's not the best business, but he got some money from this. I try to upload there some of my travel photos, but I still haven't any sales...
This site is not international, avoid using it. I wish I could give them no star
I signed up for their free subscrition and they charged me twice and never refund my money back. Depositphotos will rob you and then treat you so badly
I hate Depositphotos.
Answer: I chose them because other websites are too expensive for the amount you get. This is not an issue if this is being done in a commercial setting as cost is part of doing business. I on the other hand am a digital artist who creates non commercially and do not profit off my creations. I create for the sake of creating. I am able to get 30 downloads for $30 a month which for my purposes is perfect. For someone that just wants to create art non commercially then depositphotos offers the best value.
