I ordered 2 dog beds that were much smaller than described. Although they charged me $5.95 for shipping TO me, I have to pay $14.50 for their "shipping label!. The weight of each box was 2 lbs. In addition you will wait a MONTH to get what's left of you money back. Hardly worth the effort to return. The person on the phone was very snippy and I guarantee I will NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.
I ordered a bedding set which was selling for a lower price on this site than on most others. There were other inconsistencies, the name of the product, which did make me question the validity of the site, but often times different vendors have the same product under different names so I ignored that.
I suppose that I was lucky when not even 24 hours later my husband received an email that the order was cancelled as per my request. Of course the request was never made and when I visited the site the product was suddenly out of stock.
Very strange transaction which I am happy did not consummate however this company, with all of the negative reviews, should be reported to the BBB and/or any other legitimate organization that can terminate this company.
I placed my order, and a hold in the amount of the entire order was placed on my card. I then received an email stating that only part of the order had been charged, and that I needed to call them to give a credit card number for the remainder or they would be re-routing my shipment back to their warehouse the next day. At this point, the full total was still pending as a charge on my card. I felt uncomfortable giving an additional credit card since it seemed like the full amount had been charged. I tried to explain this to Designer Living, but they were adamant that I had not been charged correctly, and quite frankly were rather rude about it. I asked them to cancel the order, credit my card in full, and re-route the shipments back to them. In the end, my card did indeed only get charged a portion of the order, and I ended up receiving one portion of the order. The customer service was so substandard that, while I'm not sure I was charged correctly, I'll just keep the curtains I received and call it a wash. I didn't want to send the order back and have to deal with them again. They won't receive any of my business in the future.
I have made my order two weeks ago and never receive any confirmation email. I tried to call so many times and only answering machine. I left them so many message and never get a call back. Luckily i kept calling and a lady picked up. Payment solved and still haven't received any confirmation email. Suddenly i received two email saying that two of my products was out of stock!. And when i call them they said that the other items which is in stock was already ship when i dont' even want them at the first place. ( the throw that was out of stock all in a sudden was the first thing i really want to buy) They said that they can't stop the shipping and i have to pay my own shipping if i want to return the shipment. This company is not organize and seems like only person is running the whole customer service department. If you were lucky, you may get what you want!
Be certain you are going to be happy with your purchase! The size, color and or quality better be to your liking. I purchased a $90 king set. It barely made it over the width of my king bed. It cost $45 to ship it back! BEWARE!
I love Designer Living! Not only did they fix my order mistakes, they went above what I expected! This is uniquely my own experience so I can't vouch for anyone else... I placed an order and I botched it up, my brain not functioning and noone's fault but my own, but I also glitched up my shopping code... not only did Designer Living fix it all they did so cheerfully... they fixed my mistakes and I now have some lovely new house items and bedding... one of the pictures was too large to fit with my others, it was larger than I expected... I am impressed with the value of the order that I received... the pictures, both the Route 66 and the other one that I don't have a pic of, it's huge! Well, they are excellent, and heavy duty, ready to frame... not lightweight junk... nice, quality style items, and the bedding? Oh, I love my new moose flannel warm sheets and my new comforter set! They are so lovely and heavy duty. So, I can't vouch for anyone else, but my order was fantastic and worth every penny!
Ordered a bedset, it was not complete... missing the shams and they would not send the missing shams because I called over the 14 day return period. I understand policies, but they should stand up and take responsibility for the product that they sold and make sure the customer receives the complete order regardless of the 14 day period. DON'T purchase from this company! At least Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond, any other company would honor their commitment to their consumers and make sure their consumers received their complete package in the first place.
I bought a comforter, shams and a couple of pillows for my bed. I was able to get free shipping and it got to me quickly. I had a great experience with Designer Living and will do more shopping with them.

There was a sale for $7.99 blankets that I got an email from the company about, so I went to the site and tried to order them and the blankets were showing for more than $7.99 price. I did a chat with them and told them what was wrong and they told me the system or website needed to be update with the correct prices and to try back in two hours. I should have know then it would go down hill from there. I went back on and ordered when the prices changed, and then that was that. Then, about 30 minutes passed and I received an email stating that my order has been cancelled because the blankets sold out! I was like how can they be sold out when I made my order and they were available to be put in my cart and ordered? I was fuming and to top it all off, my credit card still is pending for the order they cancelled as of today, the 16th. They offered me 15% off my next order and I told them that is not doing me any good when I can't get the blankets I ordered. Please don't shop at this store, this whole experience was ridiculous and I will never shop here again!

I just bought bed skirt from them. The item they pictured is completely different from the item I got. Despite that, they refused to refund because I bought it on sale, and confirmed no refund even after I e-mailed and explained them the reason. Stay away from this company!

DELIVERED JUN 7 - so not here for Memorial Day or multiple Graduations. AND they sent 2 pouf - no seat Cushion. Their Customer service is only available Monday-Friday. Amazon defers to 3rd party seller. Amazon returns for this vender only allow return and refund- not replacement. So Jun 13 Vendor replies to me, "Unfortunately, we can not ship out the replacement item not received until the wrong item is in possession with UPS. Once we have confirmed this item has been dropped off with UPS, I will enter a replacement order for item you did not receive." In violation of FEDERAL CONSUMER LAW-actually I am NOT obligated to return UNSOLICITED materials and THEY Are still required to FULFILL the sales contract. I saw online a bedspread/comforter from DesignerLivng that was on sale so I orderd it.
It is really a nice one that is quilted all over and also reversible. I am very happy. Some Cal. King sizes are small but not this one. It is really just perfect.
I purchased a couple of dog beds from this company. I usually purchase the exact beds from another website. Designer Living was having a sale and the beds were cheaper from them. The beds I received from Designer Living in no way compare to the beds purchased elsewhere. Same mfg, same description, completely different product. I believe Designer Living sells defective products and 2nds which is why they can offer lower prices.
DesignerLiving.com operations totally suck. After ordering something, they print labels but don't ship product. Then when you want a refund they take forever. Their staff is not responsive.
HORRIBLE! When I didn't receive my item, I looked at the UPS tracking... no update in 2.5 days, and last update showed an issue.
There customer (DIS)Service couldn't tell me where it was, when I would get it, or anything. I asked them to expedite a replacement, as we were going out of town for 3 weeks in less than a week. THEY REFUSED... AND wanted to charge us $17.50 to have UPS re-route the package back to them (The item was uner $30, including shipping!). After 15 minutes of arguing, they finally agreed to waive the fee.
Lisa, their customer service 'manager' needs to learn how to take care of customer. They have lost my business and that of others that will read this.

Designerliving.com does not care if you are satisfied with your purchase, if the product received was not as ordered, or was defective even. Their every policy is designed to deny a refund, make sure the customer has to pay return shipping--no matter who is at fault, and keep the true info from other potential customers. Customer reviews about merchandice that are not glowing are simply not posted. So, you CANNOT TRUST the reviews. If a product at a deep discount has no reviews, think twice! Color and quality are two areas of particular concern. Examples: Coverlet color "blue" and pictured as sky blue, arrived as dark teal. Sheet set with list price over $200 (Oh, come on!) called cream and depicted at white with blue trim arrived as light BROWN and while ok quality at $30, would never pass muster over $50. Considering how bad their return policy and customer service is for less expensive items, I would NEVER buy anything large or expensive from them! In fact, don't buy anything you can't just eat if it's unacceptable when it arrives. And that "rewards" program? Your cash back disappears if you don; t order again in less than 90 days, so, you would have to buy from them MORE than 4 times/year, spaced closely enough, not to have your cash ripped off. Scammy.
Bottom line: DesignerLiving does NOT care about you. Plenty more suckers out there.
I ordered the Home Essence Modesto Blue 4 Piece Comforter Set in King a week ago.
Today I recieved it via UPS
The outside box was crushed, the inside plastic bag was filthy and torn everywhere, the comforter was filthy too it turned my hands black this was a wedding gift how in the hell can I give them this? The wedding is next weekend so now I have to look around for another wedding gift and I didnt want to pay to have it sent back that's more money out of my pocket. I took it to the laundry mat and I had to wash it twice to get it clean! And what gets me mad I pd close to $80.00 for this dirty stuff that looks like either it was a returned item or it was in a dirty warehouse and or shed.So I guess I will keep it, I have no other choice :( and I wrote a letter to the company never heard nothing back yet... the least they can do is refund 1/2 or all of my money back.

I ordered several items totaling over $500. Among the order were some cheap queen sized sheets, but I got full sized sheets in a queen sized package. As a consumer, I ordered these sheets for out- of-town guests arriving in a few days. I got the sheets several days ago, but trusted the packaging, so only opened them today. The customer service rep made me take pictures of the sheets that I received next to a tape measure to verify that what I was telling them was true. I did this. All I wanted was for them to overnight the correct merchandise to me, I was even going to buy a more expensive version (twice the price) because the sheets I got were cheap and I didn't realize how bad they would be. The service rep was nice but passed me to her manager who was very rude. She wouldn't help me with my dilemma (needing the sheets for guests) only said that I could keep the wrong order and they would credit me for that. I don't own any full size or twin beds, so will donate to goodwill. She also insisted that the order I received WERE queen sized which THEY WERE NOT! That was bizarre. She also said they will not expedite shipping when the shipping cost is more than the value of the merchandise. I will never use this company again. Quite frankly, I don't know how they stay in business.
