I purchased prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses, twice. I needed help reordering the first pair as they got stolen - customer service helped out and got the order placed for me. Couldn't find this specific frame anywhere! Always packaged with great care.
Ordered on dec 1st Ordered on dec 1st, called 7 times,still waiting on supplier,usually 3 days.on 16th frames arrive and customer service rep would not even put a rush on my frames at the lab, just 5 to 10 days,then we will mail them.Oh I also paid for express shipping.So I guess I will my glasses around jan 10th or so.40 days to get...go else where, lots of much faster companies that care if you are a customer or not
They will charge your credit card and will never deliver anything to you. I bought sunglasses on July 18,2020. It is now Aug 3rd, 2020. I have not received anything yet. When I check status on their website, it shows that my order is still in process. They already charged my for the product. I am afraid that this company sells products they don't have in stock.

I ordered Altair designer frames for HALF of what my eye doctor quoted and even less than half of what Altair's "only authorized" web dealer wanted to rook me out of. I got a USPS tracking Number and received them in about 10 days. They are the real deal! No shipping & no Tax for me. I e-mailed them once out of paranoia and they replied right away.
Some of their negative reviews are people who want everything I got in ONE DAY! I will return here in the future when I need new glasses!

I love the site and the service, they never disappoint! Real authentic eyewear without the extra fees that the other places add to what they pay for the exact same products. Designer optics is basically like cutting the middle man out, you get the same product minus the middle man fees!

I'd suggest to avoid this business. I return the item I bought. It has been more than a month and I haven't received my refund from them yet. I do not know how to resolve this. They don't answer phone and emails. Stay away from this business.

I just purchased 3 pairs of eyeglasses (2 versace and 1 Michael kors) on monday and they got here today. Only took 3 days. I was pretty scared reading all of these reviews about them never coming, but my glasses came within 3 days. All 3 that I purchased were "in Stock" not sure if that playsd a factor and I also didn't get a prescription.

Purchased a pair of frames for my son. Same measurements snd shape as his current glasses. ONLY the lens size was bigger. (His is a 49 but got a 50) Received the frames and it was smaller than his current frames. Esp the arms on the frames. I think these frames maybe some oops frames from the manufacturer where there are irregular. It has to be. This is a waste of time browsing and to pay $5... (I bought 2 pr one for me too)

After 2 items being on "backorder" I finally got a pair of glasses. They need a better system to update their inventory. Alot of the glasses on the site that isn't available, yet there is an option to order it. After weeks of waiting your told it's discontinued... Aside from that annoyance the shipping was fast and the pair of glasses I received are authentic so that's awesome.

Run, run quickly.

This place is the biggest scam of a website I have ever encountered. If you don't want to waste your time and money I suggest you shop directly from a trusted source which this is not one of them. You usually get what you pay for and this website proves it. I purchased a pair of glasses from here at a discount price, a week later they had not shipped. I contacted them and they told me they were out of stock although they still took payment for the product I purchased. They then contacted me and tried to upset me on the same brand with different lenses, point being this website is a ripoff I would never refer them or use their site again.

I sat on my glasses and ruined the frame. I found the same one on Designer Optics website. The price was much less than I paid previously. When they arrived (a day ahead of schedule) was delighted to find they were exactly the same as what I had and needed. Thanks.

I made a purchase for some Versace sunglasses that I originally saw in Macy's for $260. I decides to shop around and found them at designer optics for $160 and recieved a discount that made them $124 after shipping. I was sold then! I orderes them and they were delivered to me within 5 days! I'll be buying all my glasses from this sight from now on!

I originally left a 1 star review because I honestly spent hours on hold with customer service. I spent 2.5 hours one day and was then pushed from 1st in the line back down to 10, so I gave up. I sent multiple emails and did not get a reply. The second time I called, it took over an hour to get through. I found out that they were closed the first time I called. There was no announcement and I was put on hold as I supposedly moved through the line. Since the processing and delivery time was not bad, and my glasses look to be authentic, I am very pleased with that and the price! Their customer service wait time is hernendous-and I said that I would never use them again-but now that I have my classes and I am pleased with the outcome thanks to virtual try-on, I rewrote the review. I was going to delete my other, but don't see it now.

I saw a pair of glasses I had been looking at in my doctor's office but, couldn't justify the cost. I found them on this website for 1/3rd the price. Since I never used this website before, I decided to check out the many reviews. The first thing that caught my eye was a warning from a search engine saying their were multiple positive reviews coming from a single IP address signifying someone was trying to elevate the overall business rating. The second warning was the multitude of consistent complaints about lack of shipments when promised, charges made without shipments and wrong orders received. I can expect a couple of cranky customers but, there were too many people with the same problems. Thanks you to everyone who took the time to post your reviews. You saved me the $ and headaches dealing with this scammer!

Sorry for the inconvenience you have to face due to our customer service. As Covid affected the manufacturing world greatly. Our customer service team works day and night and tries their best to provide prompt and excellent service to each and every customer.
Regarding prescription glasses, once the frame is under lab processing, we can't cancel the order. If we are late in shipping we even refund the shipping charges as per the customer's request. If the desired product is not available, we also offer an exchange with the IN-STOCK product. We also accept returns within the time period of 14 days.
We are sorry that we did not reach your expectations. Please accept our deep apology. Give us chance to serve you again. We like our customers to be happy.
First pair of frames were backordered. Company did not bother to reach out and let me know. Called/emailed numerous times with no response. Finally got ahold of someone, the representative verified new frames were in stock. Two more weeks have gone by with no communication from company, other than surveys to rate them. Finally spoke to same lady and was told second pair of frames are now back ordered, even though I waited 30 plus minutes so she could check stock. Company did not offer communication whatsoever. Or even try to remedy situation.

My glasses were supposed to arrive within three days. One week passed, then another. I was starting to get scared but online they did say prescription orders took longer, plus I asked for a bunch of extra enhancements (thin lenses, no shine, ect...) so I told myself that's all it was. By the middle of the third week I was looking at all the bad reviews and they didn't answer the given phone number even during business hours and I WAS LOSING MY MIND. I paid 250$ and I'm kind of poor so I was about to cry when I emailed them. They assured me that my order was just backordered and they got it on track now and that I'd get a shipping notification within the week. The week passed and I emailed again saturday freaking out. Monday they replied and by tuesday I got my shipping confirmation. It's now friday morning and my glasses arrived perfectly and just how I wanted. Sorry for doubting you and THANK YOU designer glasses for making $600 into $250!

I made a purchase during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic. I was unhappy with the purchase, they just didn't look good on me, so I asked to make an exchange. Time had passed since the 14 day return term but I thought that since we are in unprecedented times and the state is on lock down, that the exchange period would be adjusted like all other retailers to give customers time to handle business outside of the home. Designeroptics did not allow the exchange. I will never do business with this company again and I would suggest that others don't as well.

I bought these frames after finding them in store at Lense Crafters. I didn't want to pay over $300 for them so I looked online and was happy with the price paid on this site. I received the frames just fine, but the Versace box and case they came in is very clearly used. During covid especially, it seems very sketchy and makes me question if the frames are genuine or not.
