$#*!'s Sporting Goods is a piece of $#*! store. I ordered a boat, it took over a month to never receive it. I was sent four of them and every single one that I received had forklift punctures in it and was unfloatable. So they were put back on to the truck. They don't care that wasted a total of five boats. Wasted shipping charges. Will NEVER deal with $#*!s stores ever again

I ordered a pair of Power Block dumbbells with a promotion for about $280, which was a fantastic deal when there was this other promotion of buy $100 get $25 back (that would be fulfilled by them sending out a code after the qualifying purchase had been made). I didn't received the promotion code, so I contacted customer service and was told because I had used the first promotion for my dumbbells, I wouldn't receive the code for the second one, which was surprising to me because nowhere on the site did it say that. Nevertheless, I later received the code and bought a pair of Nike for only $25. Overall happy experience, since everything I ordered from them was perfect. Regardless, there is room for improvement. Customer service should know more about D*ck's own promotion program. They were very helpful and respectful though. Also my Nike shoes were shipped without their box, which was a bummer since I'd like to keep it to store my shoes. Other than that, great service.
I ordered cleats for my 6yr old son online for his birthday. He has been looking for these for a long time. He was very excited. We waited almost a week for them to come. Nothing came, I received an email saying they were processing my order, there was a hold on my account too. I wake up to an email saying my order is canceled because of low stock REALLY! It took a week to realize you don't have enough inventory. VERY DISAPPOINTED. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I bought a pair of shoes with an ETA of 1 week, after 4 days of not receiving any information that the shoes were shipped I checked and the order was still on "processing ", I contact them, spoke with Linda and Tim, a supervisor, they told me that they have no idea when the order was going to be fulfilled, they did. It know if the shoes were on stock or a back order, they did not know either the ETA, Tim told me it could be a week or it could be three weeks! I told him that I wanted to cancel my order and he said they could not do it, once the order is placed i only have 30 minutes to cancel, otherwise i have to receive the shoes and then return them if I want to get my credit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
I was there this afternoon to purchase tennis shoes to my husband. The store was empty. It was two lazy employees in the department who did nothing except speaking together, who never offer to help us. I ask to speak with a shoes employee. They ask for it. After waiting and waiting and waiting, I asked to speak with a manager who came the first time for 30 sec and left. He came back for another 30 sec and ask one of the lazy employee to take care of us. Neither the manager and the employee gave us the service that we should have gotten.If it wouldn't have been the time to spend on the road to go else where, we would have left. We went out and we were mad of the bad service. They didn't want to serve us. It was very obvious for the employee and manager. They show us we disturb them.
You should bring back the tennis shoes with all the running shoes. We would have had a much better service.
Another subject is your membership card that doesn't work at all for us. I purchased many items each year and I never qualify for rebates as I do for many other chains. You erase our purchases every three months which doesn't make sense. We see it nowhere else. It means that your card means nothing at all if we never can qualify for rebates.

Extremely disappointed in DICK's Sporting Goods customer service. Ordered a Sparo Crusher watch (college theme) as a birthday gift for my son, who is away at college. It was ordered on March 28 and due to be delivered to him at school on April 4. I was notified on the DAY OF SCHEDULED DELIVERY that the product was unavailable and would not be shipped. I should have been notified of the product's unavailability when the order was PLACED, so that I could have selected an alternative birthday gift item. Dick's offered me a "routine" 300 Scorecard points and a $15 off coupon - what I receive EVERY month in the mail, just for being a Dick's customer. We are Iong-time Dick's Sporting Goods customers and should have been compensated, above every day coupons, for our dissatisfaction at the poor handling of our order. The customer service representatives and supervisors gave us nothing for our extremely disappointing experience. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE RESOLUTION!
I come here for running gear. It is a bit pricier, but their selection is amazing. I end up coming back with more than I can carry it seems. :) It is my therapy.
Sometimes you dont always have the best experience with a store you would expect. After shopping at a Dicks store in NC an iteam was on display but not available and it had to be shipped at my expense or picked up at a store an hour away. Speaking with the clerk and then a manager I was told there was nothing they could do. I found this to be an unacceptable answer. I did purchase the iteam because it was for my son and I did not want to disappoint him. When I arrived home I was still not happy so I called corporate custermer sevice and spoke to Michele Willlams and after explaining how I was treated he quickly rectified the problem with a twenty dollar rewards on my score card and a ten dollar credit on my credit card for the iteam purchased.
Sometimes a store dose not always reflect the corporates philosophy.

I made a purchase Friday night with Dicks for my son(youth football rib protector). I contacted the store before I made the purchase and they assured me the product was in stock. I then ordered the product with the intention of picking it up by 10am before I drove to another town for my sons game. Again Online it said it was available. I waited until after 930 and still didn't receive a text or a email. I then called the store. After a 10 minute wait they came back and said that they couldn't locate the rib protector. I called to check 5 minutes before close before I ordered! It's really ridiculous. If I would of been called or texted at 9 or a little after I could of driven to big 5 or another sports store to purchase. When I called they acted as if they could care less. Horrible customer service imo. My kids play multiple sports and I've made many purchases between football, baseball and wrestling. I'm definitely not going to say I'll never shop there again but I'm very disappointed in the customer service.

I love all of these complaints that mostly seem to be coming from the internet ordering process. It is atrocious. I ordered an item, was told it would be here in 3 day and then 2 days later learned it wasn't even shipped. Tried to cancel my order at this point, for some reason I wasn't able to cancel because they could not tell where in the process my order was. Miraculously I got an e-mail the next day saying my order was unfortunately delayed. Contacted customer service again and was told I still couldn't cancel my order. So basically I will eventually get an order a good week or 2 after I was supposed to get it and customer service was essentially non existent. If this was Amazon, this order would have been cancelled immediately and I would never have been charged, no questions asked. Yet this store must be so desperate for any sale it can get it won't cancel it. This is just one reason of many why this store is going bankrupt and has a steeply declining stock price during great market conditions. I will visit this store once more in my life and that will be to return the product and get my money back once I receive it. Which just leads to one more reason why you are going bankrupt - let's spend the money to ship the product vs cancelling and at least saving money on the shipment. This place has got more holes than swiss cheese and I am sure good ole Dick has no idea.

Where to begin? My niece wanted a hydroflask water bottle for her birthday, this sporting goods store promptly shipped… a golf handle grip. When I called them to remedy the mistaken shipment, the woman on the other end quickly an politely issued a re-shipment of the bottle. Somehow, that shipment was labeled a return and was never shipped. I got my money refunded and re-ordered the item. THAT shipment got labeled as a return and never got shipped. I finally decided the order had entered some kind of glitch loop and called to cancel the whole thing and have my money refunded. Never mind that my niece's birthday had passed by 2 weeks at this point. I was told the refund had to go through "approval" and when the refund was issued I was told that "due to the number of credits/reshipments placed on your purchases in the past, we are unable to provide any further credits or appeasements for lost shipments." Somehow these mistakes are my fault now? I have a solution - I shall never order from them again.

Ordered through paypal, got a confirmation and notification that my payment went through.
Waiting for my order for 1 week already, and nothing.
I call them, they tell me that they can't find my order! I told them to place a new order and they tell me that the item is now out of stock with just a simple "sorry".
But the worst in this is that the lady on the phone acts like it is normal and tell me that this happens a lot when you place an order via paypal!
So basically, a huge company like DICKS doesn't have a DECENT PAYMENT METHOD!
The incredible part in this is that paypal confirmed me that they still have my money!
After speaking to this unprofessional lady, I asked to speak to a manager. Same thing! She says she is sorry but she will find the product, after 5 minutes she tells us that the item is sold out countywide.

They're screwed up 3 orders over the last 18 months (wrong size, mismatched pair, cancelled days later since out of stock) & at most offered 10% off another order which wasn't worth it.
I've come to noticed that Dick's sporting goods shipping is really terrible. I've ordered a weight plate once and I received it with a messy destroyed box with tears. Luckily the plate itself wasn't wrecked so I was able to use it still. The 2nd time I ordered from them were a pair of 35lb kettlebells, but when I received my package, it was messy with tears in the bottom, and I only received one bell that had scratches and scrapes on it and found out after making a call that the other bell broke during shipping. I was really disappointed but luckily I was refunded half of money back but I didn't like the idea that I had to buy it again online, but at least I was given a discount for it, but still. I decided to order a single bell after what happen to my previous one getting wrecked, but as my next bell was delivered, I was still VERY disappointed! Now, the bell was not put in package or anything at all! It was just the product itself with a plastic restraint on it, and it had damages around the coating and scrapes and scratches again. Thankfully, I was still happy that Im able to train with them, but I do NOT appreciate with how the shipping and handling was. Dick's needs to work more on how they take care of their items with Fedex especially when it comes to gym equipment. No one wants to see the quality of their order damaged just like mine.
I was a loyal customer in total I spent about a grand on v neck Nike tees. There my favorite ok so I placed a order the other day ordering 2 tees amount approx 57$ so usually they use ups for some reason they used usps and I sign up for alerts so it said item delivered I'm like what so I contact them by email no response I called them it's a talking machine tells you hold on I waited for over 1 hour I did this 5 days in a role the waiting was now becoming a message saying thanks for. Calling leave a message so I did and nothing so I checked on website it said my order was in stock but yet they said they shipped it so thank god for pay pal they sure do make things easier. They protect you so my case is opened it's been couple of days PayPal said dicks sporting goods has given them no response. It's sad because I really love this place so I did research found out dicks sporting goods works with fans edge omg those people are terrible seems like they combined there buisness so that explains MLB sells my tees there now apart of fans edge I wrote a review on fans edge terrible people ripp offs and very rude so that's my story. I ordered a DSG gift card for my nephew. How difficult can that be? Apparently, VERY difficult. I ordered it on December 6, a Monday. They claim they shipped it December 10. There is no tracking number. It's now 10 days after ordering and the card still isn't here. There is only an automated voice for their Customer Service, and it hangs up on you before offering any help. It basically confirms your order, and then says it takes THREE WEEKS to ship a freakin' card. I NEVER would have ordered from DSG if I'd known this, and while I'm a frequent customer, I'm now DONE with these Bozos. I believe they use a third party to ship cards, but the minimum expectation would be that they found a partner with the automation to mail these automatically, versus taking four days to put something in an envelope, and that there would be tracking. Maybe DSG could look to actually verify how their "partner" is performing? I have an extensive supply chain background and all of what I've mentioned is SOP for any major retailer that cares about their customers. Apparently DSG doesn't fall into this category.

They outsource to Guyana. Underpaying employees. $519.35 GYD PER HOUR which is less than $6.00 USD PER HOUR!
The staff at the Guyana location for Dicks Sporting Goods chat site is working under massive toxic environment. From the HR generalist down to the two account managers for DSG Guyana.
No one seems to be doing anything. They are terminating staff members, threatening agents to have them dismissed if they say anything. And even banned agents from joint a zoom call with the representative from Dick Sporting Goods directly. It is utter shame that DSG has not yet looked in or investigate what is happening at the Teleperformance in GUYANA for Their chat center.
Agents are leaving.
Agents are scared to speak up.
Agents are working and just holding on cause their lives depend upon it.
The account manager even asked the agents not to tell DSG representatives how much they are being paid.
DSG needs to look into the center than runs their chat program.
That entire account is going through hell right now. Don't believe me, try contacting the agents directly on their personal phones or setting up a zoom call privately with the agents. They'll tell you as long as you can assure them that the information will be for your own use and disposal only.

I I bought a four hybrid from Dick's Sporting Goods with no head cover spend all that money with no head cover and then it was a hassle to take it back poor customer service never shop there
Bought a treadmill online on black Friday for a Christmas gift. Order started would be delivered by Dec 13th. Chatted with Dick's about when to expect delivery and they stated it was on it's way for a 13th delivery. Product never arrived and contacted Dick's again who stated they would contact delivery company. Never heard back from Dick's so I called them back to find out company said there was an email from delivery company that it was out for delivery that day from 11am to 3pm, good thing I was home however, no treadmill showed. Called Dick's back and they said they couldn't do anything because it was the weekend and they would call me Monday by 10am. No call was received so I called them, finally Dec 23, they state that treadmill was showing as delivered to an address in Michigan, I'm in Maryland. So I ask that they just refund my money. It is now Dec 28 and my refund is still in process which I don't understand as I have no treadmill and no money back. I should start charging them interest. This is by far the worst online experience ever. You would think they would care about delivering good service when you spend $800 on an order but apparently not.
