I was sent four of them and every single one that I received had forklift punctures in it and was unfloatable. So they were put back on to the truck. They don't care that wasted a total of five boats. Wasted shipping charges. Will NEVER deal with $#*!s stores ever again
Sent binoculars back to them because they were too heavy for my mother in law. Dick's provided all the return shipping information. They claim they never received anything and now I'm out $170. I will never ever do business with them again.

My partner and I have been waiting on a kayak since middle of May and the pilot company who works with Dick's Sporting goods and handles freight shipping said our kayak should be here over a week ago and when we called to check they said once it gets to this location another shipping company will call us and we have yet to receive any calls even though it's been at the location since our expected delivery date. Over a week ago. But we called dicks and they are returning the 250 shipping fee and going to call to figure out where our kayak is. Very grateful they are doing something about the issue

Online ordering is a disaster. There is no where on their website that states it takes several days just to process the order, then several more days before items ship! Customer service representatives give multiple answers to the same questions. I will never again use dick's for online purchases.

I will never order from this pathetic company again, I had my delivery date pushed back 3 times and still haven't received my order! Even tho I paid for fast shipping I'm beyond pissed and customer service people are no help at all! Wont spend another dime with this company! Just ridiculous

Giving them one star is more than what they deserve.Do NOT shop at this store if you make too many returns. They have shut me off for 6 months to return anything. Sorry, I don't shop at stores that won't accept returns. I've gain some weight so i needed a different size or if I can get a better deal from another site or store, and sometimes (or I should say most of the time) things just don't look the same as they do online or if I just change my mind. So yes, I do make returns. I don't need to be treated like a child. I guess, they don't have the policy of hassle free returns.

Cannot follow through in delivering a simple order. After three weeks of placing the order, I'm still waiting and they can't tell me where and when i should receive the order. Ive call four time, chatted online twice and I get the same answer, I will try to help and expedite but NOTHING happens... this is the last time i will shop here. There customer service 800 call center needs work... cannot hear the agents, static on lines, the wait time is way to long and the end result is no where.
We've all shopped online before and have had various experiences... this is the worst I have NEVER had in my life and I am pretty forgiving

No star actually. Customer service has been trained to trick purchasers to suffer consequences of the companies poor business practices. Agents abuse of customers trust by modelling misleading information. You would conclude this if you compare what action different agents sought to the resolve thesame issue.

How can you call yourself a sporting good store when you did away with hunting and fishing isn't that a sport. What's wrong they get only about selling ammo not everybody uses ammo in the wrong way!

Pretty upset right now I called before I left my home in the country to the Columbus, GA store (which is located right next to a pet store, mind you) and asked if they were pet friendly. The girl who answered the phone said yes, so we drove into town, only to be kicked out by a manager. No apology was given as we were escorted out of the store, even though I told her that we called about it before we came. We are now headed to Big Dog Running Co to buy our shoes. Will never shop at a Dicks again.

I just purchased an addidas soccer ball with a sticker price of $15.99. Rang up as $17.99 asked why when sticker clearly shows $15.99. Was told that the price is what register says not whats on the item. Will not be recommending or purchasing here again. Don't know what world they live in but where I'm from the sticker price is the price.

I bought a very nice TaylorMade driver as a Christmas gift this year. After about two dozen swings the head dislodged, which was surprising enough. I returned the defective product to my local Dick's for an exchange (with receipt), only to be told that Dick's doesn't perform repair work and that I would have to take it up with the manufacturer. I will, without question, take it up with TaylorMade but will never spend another dime at Dick's. I refuse to do business with a company that doesn't stand behind the products they sell and support their customers. With the competitive nature of today's retail environment it seems as though Dick's is looking to go out of business. That's unfortunate as I've been a long time customer of Dick's but as of now that relationship is over.

Order shoes for my son online because we could not find in store and they sent me a used pair of shoes that was visible warn and terribly packaged. They do not stand behind their customer service and I can't return because the shoes look worn but we didn't wear them!

Dick's Sporting Goods in New Jersey no longer sells Hunting equipment.
The salesman I spoke to informed me that earlier this year "everything hunting related was removed from the store." He suggested that I order online, or travel out of state.
Both options are not acceptable.
I would suggest Dick's remove the word "Sporting Goods" from their name and change it to "Sport Clothing", but they don't sell camouflage or hunting orange.

So sorry for your troubles, but every last review on here is spot on.
My advise is to never buy anything from them. I feel so sorry for all of the customers who call in.
Most of the people who work there really want to help you, but with the set up that Dick's has, it's nearly impossible.
I have never worked for such a flawed company.

I placed an online, confirmed pick up order (usually ready in under an hour according to their website). After driving to get the it, the item was out of stock. This was met with unapologetic and rude customer service, telling me I would eventually get an email about the order being canceled.

Literally the $#*!ING worst! They have ruined sooooooo many holidays in my home. They use FEDEX as their shipping partner and they have the worst shipping times - they will tell you that it will be there in 5 days - and 15 days later it MIGHT show up. Totally fine if you are waiting on a pair of shorts... however, if you are waiting on a Christmas gift or Easter gift (like I am currently) you will get $#*!ED over. I am so upset for the rudeness of their personal and lack of training on customer service, also keep in mind its not like they are busy, the storage was empty buy he was just bothered by my question on my purchase on line, I asked him if he could find me in their system with my address, phone number, email or anything, yes his answer was I CANT HELP YOU!... ill make sure people knows about your practices

This is the return policy of the Mason Ohio location.
Dick's Retail Rep: "If you don't want to wait in line to make a return (there were 100 people deep), you can just leave the item here."
The customer (me): "But I need a reverse of charge on my credit card, how will you do this?"
Dick's Retail Rep: "This is the best we can do."
The customer (me): "Huh?"
<So, I came home and called the Customer Service number listed on their website.>
Phone Rep: "I don't know who you should speak with, and I can't find a name or number for you. I'll connect you with a supervisor in Customer Service."
The customer (me): "Do you have a number to the home office in Pittsburgh?"
Phone rep: "I work in Utah; I don't know. I'll connect you to a supervisor here."
10 minutes later and still on hold, I hung up.
Now I know why the store service is so bad. This is their customer philosophy. Good to know. You won't see me again.

I ordered my son some basketball shoes and they came in with the security tag on them! I called customer service and they were very rude! Now I have to drive an hour to the nearest Dicks as the security tag has paint in it and we can't take it off without the machine! I will be glad when Academy Sports comes to Charleston South Carolina!

The site under goes updates and when that happens you have to call customer service also what i like is they dont charge your card till item or items ship out down fall of it is if you have multiple items and they ship out its shows a bunch of charges

I literally drove and hour and a half to go shopping. I bought a sweater for my husband. Was going to wrap it for christmas and they left the ink thing on. When I called, the dumbass response I got was bring it back. Or send it through the mail. How about your employees do their job right. Now my husband has a shirt he cant even wear.
