My daughter had been looking for a clothing item for sometime and JJ or JayJay (not sure on spelling) in the Lehi/AF location went above and beyond for us! Thank you! We will definitely be back to shop here again.
$#*!'s Sporting Goods is a piece of $#*! store. I ordered a boat, it took over a month to never receive it. I was sent four of them and every single one that I received had forklift punctures in it and was unfloatable. So they were put back on to the truck. They don't care that wasted a total of five boats. Wasted shipping charges. Will NEVER deal with $#*!s stores ever again
Ordered through paypal, got a confirmation and notification that my payment went through.
Waiting for my order for 1 week already, and nothing.
I call them, they tell me that they can't find my order! I told them to place a new order and they tell me that the item is now out of stock with just a simple "sorry".
But the worst in this is that the lady on the phone acts like it is normal and tell me that this happens a lot when you place an order via paypal!
So basically, a huge company like DICKS doesn't have a DECENT PAYMENT METHOD!
The incredible part in this is that paypal confirmed me that they still have my money!
After speaking to this unprofessional lady, I asked to speak to a manager. Same thing! She says she is sorry but she will find the product, after 5 minutes she tells us that the item is sold out countywide.
Wow, this is incredible. They still have my money, no product, and if I didn't call, they would probably never say anything and kept the money.
I call this company a bunch of thieves!
AVOID ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Just saw a commercial on TV, so I had to write. The commercial advertised a certain item they really do not carry. My friend and I went to Dicks in Rosevile, MN AFTER calling to see if they had a particular item in stock in a certain size. Was assured they had it. The item in question was a HOKA shoe. When we arrived we went straight to shoe department, there were at least 5-6 workers standing around on their cell phones! No one and I mean NO ONE even looked up! So after my friend and I looked thru the entire department and found every shoe but the HOKA a young man walked by, still on his phone. We asked him about the shoe and without looking up he mumbled he didn't know. I asked him who did, still looking at his phone he walked over to a young lady and mumbled something then walked off, still looking at his cell phone. Needless to say this young lady was on her cell phone. But she halfway tried to help by walking us to the one and ONLY HOKA shoe in the building. When asked why she said that is all they were sent. Asked her why they even put it out, she did not know. She also did not know why I was led to believe they had plenty or why they advertise when they only have one shoe. Of course I suppose this is legal and cannot be construed as false advertising. Then she went right back to her cell phone. As my friend and I walked thru the store we saw 2 people actually working and not on cell phones. However we still could not get any help with another product. We left the store and hell can freeze over and I will never go back into another Dicks! And I will never recommend a Dicks to friend, family or even an enemy! One bad apple ruins it for the others.

Company needs to re-evaluate products they advertise and they need to demand good customer service from employees that represent their business.

They're screwed up 3 orders over the last 18 months (wrong size, mismatched pair, cancelled days later since out of stock) & at most offered 10% off another order which wasn't worth it.

I've come to noticed that Dick's sporting goods shipping is really terrible. I've ordered a weight plate once and I received it with a messy destroyed box with tears. Luckily the plate itself wasn't wrecked so I was able to use it still. The 2nd time I ordered from them were a pair of 35lb kettlebells, but when I received my package, it was messy with tears in the bottom, and I only received one bell that had scratches and scrapes on it and found out after making a call that the other bell broke during shipping. I was really disappointed but luckily I was refunded half of money back but I didn't like the idea that I had to buy it again online, but at least I was given a discount for it, but still. I decided to order a single bell after what happen to my previous one getting wrecked, but as my next bell was delivered, I was still VERY disappointed! Now, the bell was not put in package or anything at all! It was just the product itself with a plastic restraint on it, and it had damages around the coating and scrapes and scratches again. Thankfully, I was still happy that Im able to train with them, but I do NOT appreciate with how the shipping and handling was. Dick's needs to work more on how they take care of their items with Fedex especially when it comes to gym equipment. No one wants to see the quality of their order damaged just like mine.

I ordered a DSG gift card for my nephew. How difficult can that be? Apparently, VERY difficult. I ordered it on December 6, a Monday. They claim they shipped it December 10. There is no tracking number. It's now 10 days after ordering and the card still isn't here. There is only an automated voice for their Customer Service, and it hangs up on you before offering any help. It basically confirms your order, and then says it takes THREE WEEKS to ship a freakin' card. I NEVER would have ordered from DSG if I'd known this, and while I'm a frequent customer, I'm now DONE with these Bozos. I believe they use a third party to ship cards, but the minimum expectation would be that they found a partner with the automation to mail these automatically, versus taking four days to put something in an envelope, and that there would be tracking. Maybe DSG could look to actually verify how their "partner" is performing? I have an extensive supply chain background and all of what I've mentioned is SOP for any major retailer that cares about their customers. Apparently DSG doesn't fall into this category.

They outsource to Guyana. Underpaying employees. $519.35 GYD PER HOUR which is less than $6.00 USD PER HOUR!
The staff at the Guyana location for Dicks Sporting Goods chat site is working under massive toxic environment. From the HR generalist down to the two account managers for DSG Guyana.
No one seems to be doing anything. They are terminating staff members, threatening agents to have them dismissed if they say anything. And even banned agents from joint a zoom call with the representative from Dick Sporting Goods directly. It is utter shame that DSG has not yet looked in or investigate what is happening at the Teleperformance in GUYANA for Their chat center.
Agents are leaving.
Agents are scared to speak up.
Agents are working and just holding on cause their lives depend upon it.
The account manager even asked the agents not to tell DSG representatives how much they are being paid.
DSG needs to look into the center than runs their chat program.
That entire account is going through hell right now. Don't believe me, try contacting the agents directly on their personal phones or setting up a zoom call privately with the agents. They'll tell you as long as you can assure them that the information will be for your own use and disposal only.

Bought a treadmill online on black Friday for a Christmas gift. Order started would be delivered by Dec 13th. Chatted with Dick's about when to expect delivery and they stated it was on it's way for a 13th delivery. Product never arrived and contacted Dick's again who stated they would contact delivery company. Never heard back from Dick's so I called them back to find out company said there was an email from delivery company that it was out for delivery that day from 11am to 3pm, good thing I was home however, no treadmill showed. Called Dick's back and they said they couldn't do anything because it was the weekend and they would call me Monday by 10am. No call was received so I called them, finally Dec 23, they state that treadmill was showing as delivered to an address in Michigan, I'm in Maryland. So I ask that they just refund my money. It is now Dec 28 and my refund is still in process which I don't understand as I have no treadmill and no money back. I should start charging them interest. This is by far the worst online experience ever. You would think they would care about delivering good service when you spend $800 on an order but apparently not.

I RECEIVED AN UNSOLICITED EMAIL FROM DICK'S SPORTING GOODS IN MY EMAIL INBOX. THEY STATE IN THE EMAIL "Thank you for your recent online order. Please help us improve our delivery and product packaging by giving your feedback here.
Upon completion of the survey, you will be presented with a coupon to receive $10 off your next in-store or online purchase of $50 or more.
AFTER COMPLETION OF THE SURVEY AND RECEIVING MY COUPON, VIA EMAIL, I WENT TO THE DICKS ONLINE SITE TO BUY A $50 GIFT CARD FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS. WHEN I GOT TO THE CHECKOUT AREA THERE WAS NO PLACE FOR ME TO INSERT MY COUPON INFO SO I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH "AMBER" WHO FORWARDED ME TO "EDWIN" WHO TOLD ME I NEEDED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WAS NOT HOW IT WAS GOING TO WORK. IT TURNS OUT DICK'S HAS A TON OF RESTRICTIONS ON USING THE $10 COUPON THAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO USE YOUR COUPON. I WAS ON THE PHONE, MOSTLY ON HOLD, FOR 42 MINUTES AND RECEIVED ZERO SATISFACTION. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON DICK'S SPORTING GOODS, IMO!

I am attempting to make this review as short as possible but capture all of the interactions.
To begin I will never shop at D i c k' s Sporting Goods again.
My first visit I purchased a set of woods. The man was great, he set the loft of the driver, I hit a few shots on the launch monitor and he also changed the grips. I returned a couple of days later to have a shaft pulled from another club and an adapter installed so I can change shafts on my new driver. A month later I went back and purchased a set of irons. The salesman was knowledgeable and directed me to D i c k' s manufactured irons. I told him I'd take them. He came back with the clubs in his hand. No box. He said we don't have a box. I told him to get a box. I then said to him turn on the monitor so I can hit a couple of shots. He says you can't use the launch monitor unless you are being fit. I looked at him but didn't make an issue because I wanted the clubs.
When I got home I began thinking about my experience and I said WTF. D i c k' s is a multi billion dollar company. Are they so nickel and dime cheap they won't let a customer who spent several hundred dollars on a set or clubs use the launch monitor? So I put the clubs back into the box and drove over to the store and returned them. I have gone into a local small business golf store for a used club and the first thing the salesman did was put me on the launch monitor.
Predictably I got an email the next day for a survey. I answered it honestly and then the manager called me. She gave me the company policy spiel. And said a customer can pay a fee to use the launch monitor and have it deducted from their purchase. The commissioned salesman lost a sale by refusing to accommodate a customer. And D i c k' s on behalf of the manager, lost a customer, the manager didn't make any attempt to try and save the sale. D i c k' s has significant revenue so it won't miss one customer. On the other hand its easier to keep an existing customer than to try and find a new one.

I've had numerous horrible times with dicks sporting goods. First was in the store five of the same product was hanging on a peg for 15.99, we get up to the counter to purchase for my son. BAM price rang up at 59.99 so I questioned the price and asked someone to meet me back at the product. A "manager" came back to help me out, but he was one of the worst "managers" I have ever dealt with. Instead of giving to me for the correct price, he said basically it was someone else's mistake and I wouldn't get it for that price. Him nor customer service could help me out with that one! Next my husband purchased a Bauer hockey shield, spending over 60.00 for this shield for good grades in school, he worked for this purchase. Stated in the section where it was purchased on dicks online, comes with a helmet bag and a install kit for the new shield to fit the old helmet... guess what didn't show up!? The bag and the install kit! I emailed customer service and NOTHING! Either return to the store to exchanged or get a full refund, well the store itself doesn't carry it at all and I don't want to get rid of the shield I want what was promised to us during this purchase. Or return it back online, we will take 8.00 off your return because of the postage used and then we will send you another one. Thank god my husband can do things on his own, he made the screws needed for the helmet and shield. If the bag is that big of a deal KEEP IT! Dicks sporting goods will never get my business again! Be very careful when ordering online from them especially. They don't want to make their customers happy so they return for more product.

Me and my friends were having the time of our lives on the putting green at dicks in Rockaway, New Jersey. Before entering the store we went to the Buffalo Wild Wings across the street. The wings were spicy so our buttholes were a little gassy and loose. We had a putting competition on the putting green. Me and my friend each let a pufflecloud rip as we left. We then went to the weight section to look at some protein powder. The meatball weight employee came over and told us to "GET OUT". My friend asked for a reason but he refused. This was weird coming from a 5 foot 5 250 pound man working in the weight section. The manager then came over and told us that we lit stink bombs in the putting section and the bathroom. This was absolutely hornswoggling. We couldn't believe what we just heard. We were thinking of suing but we know that employee needed his money for daily mcdonalds meal. We left as a happy group and moved to the better store, Target. Never go here again, it sucked- thanks for your time
Sincerely, the fart bandits.

I ordered Brooks Shoes on-line from Dick's Sporting Goods. The shoes were too narrow. I printed out my receipt and went to Dick's Sporting Goods Store.
I presented the shoes and receipt to the cashier. The cashier told: it was her first day working for Dick's Sporting Good. The cashier asked another cashier for assistance regarding my return of my on-line order. The other cashier pointed to what cash register option to use for on-line purchase being returned. The other cashier immediately returned to her cash register and customer. The help provided by the other cashier took probably 5 to 10 seconds.
The new cashier informed me this was her first day on the job. She told me my return was complete and handed a discount slip for a new purchases within the store that required me to use it within the next few hours.
I trusted Dick's Employee that the return was completed. I was wrong.
Approximately 15 minutes later I received a phone call from a young man stating he was a Dick's employee. The young man told me: that my credit card was not swiped in the machine during the return process, and I needed to return to the store and swipe my credit card. My immediate question was: So now what happens if I cannot come back right now? He replied: Unless you return to the store and swipe your card you will lose your refund.
My refund was for $107.77. With the young man's voice reflection coupled with his statement, I would loss my refund, I felt threatened by his call. How this issue was presented to me By Dick's Sporting Goods employee was perceived by me as a very threatening statement, unless you return to the store and swipe your card you will lose your refund.
Note: Therefore, I perceived his comment as a threat. [ Loss: harm or distress that comes from losing something] The shoes were already turned over to the store leaving me no proof of the return.
My trust in Dick's Sporting was broken.

I purchased a gift card at a store near me and mailed it in a card as a gift to my nephew. When I brought it to the post office it was supposed to have a tracking number on it but did not realize they didn't do this. When I called my nephew to follow up if he had received the card and told me he did not, I was very upsetting to me that this it happened as well as that the post office did not put a tracking number on it as well. I called Dick's four different times and got the runaround even though I gave them the gift card number that the store uses for logging their gift cards. I was told four different times that they would give it to the gift card member department and it takes 24 to 48 hours and they would contact me back. On the last call I asked to speak to a manager only to be told that I would have to contact the store back which the store told me I had to contact Dick's Sporting Goods. I was told by the previous customer people that I spoke with at Dick's Sporting Goods that they would be able to issue me a new card if it was not already used. They would be able to look up the card with the numbers I gave them from the store if the card was used or not. I spoke to a manager tonight and was told they could not reissue or lookup a card purchased at another store! I will never purchase or step foot in a Dick's store ever again to make a purchase. It should NOT have taken 4 follow up phone calls from me to see what the status was on the card. Customer service gives you the run around and there is a lack of communication within Dick's on their policies. Nobody is held accountable for not calling the customer back. Ridiculous and unacceptable to any customer. I will shop elsewhere that knows how to resolve and treat their customer complaints fairly.
