$#*!'s Sporting Goods is a piece of $#*! store. I ordered a boat, it took over a month to never receive it. I was sent four of them and every single one that I received had forklift punctures in it and was unfloatable. So they were put back on to the truck. They don't care that wasted a total of five boats. Wasted shipping charges. Will NEVER deal with $#*!s stores ever again
This was not a good experience there my kid bought a mouth guard that didn't fit and was to big there advice was to boil it for 10 seconds the mold the teeth and cut pieces in the back. We went home and boiled it for 10 seconds then it wouldn't even mold and it ruined the mouthguard now it was a waste of money and it cost around 20 dollars if you buy a mouthguard that doesn't fit you or your kid just return it don't even bother trying it will not turn out well

My order was shipped Aug 22nd it's Sept 3rd. Shipped from Florida to Mississippi. I've called customer service 5 times. What a waste of time.If you need something with a certain time frame don't order from Dicks. Customer service ends when payment is recieved. They were suppose to be delivered the 26th.The tracking keeps changing it went to the 29th to the 1st to the 4th now to the 5th.My order has been 255 miles from my house for 12 days as of now.

Drove 2 hr to purchase a kyack when there web site said the had them in stock. Will never set my foot in the door when customer service said " uppps were sorry. Have a goof day "... I give them a zero for customer service. I even showed them in stock on my phone...

They truelly have the worst customer service. I ordered a pair or shoes over two weeks ago and my order kept getting canceled. I called and ordered multiple times until two orders went through even though I only wanted one. They charged me twice and mailed two pairs of shoes. I never received the pairs of shoes. I'm not sure if something happened with ups or dicks. I called and asked to get a refund for one of the charges and another pair mailed to me. A manager told me that they couldn't give me a refund and that they have shipped out a new pair. I still haven't received my pair of shoes and I have been charged over $150 for a pair of shoes that costs about $70. At this point I doubt that I will get anything mailed from them. My only option is to contact my back and try to dispute the charge.

I just wanted to say a big BIG thank you to Michael at the Mentor store. This man went above and way beyond. I was in a horrible mood and of course last minute my child alerted me to an absolute need for the next day for her wrestling match. I arrived at the store not in a mood to be mislead or toyed with. Michael (Stix) immediately jumped into action, not only got me what I needed but checked to see if it was cheaper with another brand and just gave me such a good experience I literally was in a better mood than when I arrived. Also, they had what I could not find anywhere else for such short notice. THANK YOU MICHAEL. He was not only a complete professional - he was kind and knowledgeable. THANK YOU.

Ordered TaylorMade JetSpeed Driver. Order was confirmed. Waited one week then called them. They assured me the order was fine and would ship in the next day or so. The very next day I received a cancelation notice. A very poor way to do business.
Over the years I have purchased thousands of dollars of goods from Dicks. Now, they have lost me as a customer. No response to my complaints. Very, very poor company to do business with.

If I had read some of the reviews below - I would have never bought anything from Dicks Sporting Goods. I purchased an elliptical machine from them last week and paid for delivery and assembly. It was delivered by Select Express & Logistics, a very unprofessional and bad customer service company. They gave me a 3 hour window for delivery but failed to show up within the promised window. After a call to their customer service, I was put on hold for 9 minutes and finally advised that the technician would be at my home within 1/2 hour.
After assembly of the equipment, the technicians left the huge card board box and trash at my home and told me it is their company's policy to not remove the trash. Really - I has tens if not hundreds of deliveries over the years, just 3 last week by Macy's. The delivery persons always take the boxes and trash, clean up the place before they leave. But not with Dicks Sporting Goods and their substandard contractors.
I called the store and spoke with the assistant store manager, Ryan ( won't give me his last name) at the Huntington Beach, CA store but it was a complete waste of time. He gave me all kind of lame excuses, such as, they have no control over the delivery company etc etc. Hello management at Dicks - I don't know who you contract for delivery and don't care, when I purchase something from Dicks, I am dealing with you guys and you are responsible for my satisfaction.
Bad experience - please find another store for your sporting goods purchase - you will avoid a lot of headache.

The first couple of orders went pretty good. Items arrived on time and in good shape. However, on the last occasion, I was trying to receive a promotional discount before it expired and once at checkout, it wouldn't let me purchase my item! I mean, the click to pay button did nothing! Next, tried it on my computer, and then my son's. While I figured this may have been a fluke, I was on a mission to get this item (with it's discount) before my time was up. So, I initiated a chat, but the person on the other end knew nothing. I was very dissapointed and irritated, naturally. All they could tell me was technical difficulties. However, it would have been nice to at least been given the opportunity to be extended the discount once things were working properly.

Went to the dicks in gainesville va to purchase a basketball, they had 2 that I wanted but it look like someone had returned both of them. Asked Michael if he thought they would give me a little discount, he said probably not. I go to checkout and I asked the young man that rung me up could u take a 1$ or 2$ off because it looks like someone used the ball and returned it. Micgael right beside him. So then the young man looked over at Michael and asked if he could do a discount, Michael says no that's how they come. So I said are yall on yelp they said yes asked for a pen so I wouldnt forget Michaels name. You would have thought by then they would have done something. Nothing. All I wanted was a 1$ or 2$ off. You would have thought I asked fir 50% off.

Dora the manager was so rude and sarcastic she acted like me asking for help was way to much when I asked about a Nike shirt and told her the price was to high she said " you don't have to buy it" and then she walked away without me finishing. Gratefully the associate by the name of Gabriela helped me more than her own manager could I appreciated so much she helped me with what I needed and got me to buy more than what I went for she deffinetly has a lot of knowledge when it comes to working out and what you need if you go to dicks ask for Gabriela you won't regret it

Tried to return a defected shirt, the manager said I couldn't because the return policy says it needs to be in perfect condition. The shirt discolored, otherwise I wouldn't return it. Never going back to the Fort Myers store again.

I ordered limited edition KCChiefs Nike Pegasus shoes at 10am. Got email confirmation. Sadly at 6pm I got "sorry ordered canceled" email.
I got screwed. Bought a pair for my sister on nfl shop at 11am. Could have bought there had I known. No more available anywhere by 6 pm. Dicks Sporting Goods is dishonest.

Ordered an item and same day decided to cancel. Was told by customer service no problem just return or take to the store. Called again to make sure a crossbow was returnable as told. Then was told couldn't return had to contact shipperr. Did that and shipper stated Dickssporting had to cancel shipment. Called back and was told no return and didn't know what would happen if I sent back item. All thru the order process there was fast and free instore returns on every page never once was warned item was nonreturnable. Thanks for nothing

At Elryia Ohio Dicks sporting goods i worked at a store manager Ken made follow allmost every male black person who walked in. It made me feel so sickk and digusted i woyld always just inform them as to what they were doing. They would also make me work during my lunch break. They fired me for conflict of interst saying i can not fix bicycles, hired as a bike tech, sold shoes all day long with no bikes to work on. I admit I was pissed when they fired me but the idea of being used as a pawn in the game of racism for a large well known company still makes me sick to my stomach.

If you are a person of color dont shop at more remote $#*!s sporting goods

After buying your Field and stream gun safe and having it delivered to our home, we found out that Extra brackets & shelving are unavailable though your salesman told us we could get them through the manufacturer when we bought the safe. I looked at the reviews (which I should've looked at BEFORE & found out many people were extremely frustrated for the same reason). I had to go to the hardware store to buy more brackets and pay a Carpenter to make extra shelves. I would never recommend this safe to anyone. There was no customer service phone number and very limited information in the one instructional brochure enclosed in the safe. Anyone can sell. GOOD Customer service defines vendors who will experience long-term success by being honest and knowledgeable about their products and serving customers who have issues. A 357 pound gun safe is it something you can't throw in your car and easily return, so we were stuck with it and the additional cost of time and money to fit it so it could function as we needed. Dick's, Field & Stream and Stackon (the manufacturer) were all unresponsive and indifferent to queries about the brackets and the shelves. Buyer beware because when these companies have your money you're on your own if anything is wrong! Lesson learned!

Worst online delivery service and customer care. Please don't order anything online.
I placed an online order for delivery yesterday night. Canceled the order literally within 20 minutes. 15 hours have gone by and no updates on the cancellation request yet. I have reached out to the customer representatives 2 times this morning and they just mentioned that my cancellation request is being processed. In the meantime, the order status changed from 'processing' to 'preparing for shipping'. The customer rep says if it's shipped, I could return it and I would later be reimbursed for the same.
That's pathetic! Why would you ship an order that was canceled within 20 mins of placing it and the customer has been actively trying to reach out to customer care to expedite the cancellation process? Waste of everybody's time and resources. Then I would have to return it and wait for the refund for another couple of weeks.
I read several similar reviews online. People canceled the items and still those were shipped. They received an email 3-4 days later mentioning that the order could not be canceled. What century are we living in?
