$#*!'s Sporting Goods is a piece of $#*! store. I ordered a boat, it took over a month to never receive it. I was sent four of them and every single one that I received had forklift punctures in it and was unfloatable. So they were put back on to the truck. They don't care that wasted a total of five boats. Wasted shipping charges. Will NEVER deal with $#*!s stores ever again
I purchased a patagonia shirt for my husband for father's day, however i received the shirt and it was worn, missing tags, and stuffed into a bag which was torn and partially open. Terrible service. In fact, worst i've ever experienced.

I went to buy a bicycle from Dick's Sporting Goods. There were coupons for Dick's online which they wouldn't honor. Finally a manager told me that I had to join their club to get a measly 10 percent off. So I joined it and then the cashier told me it was only good for online purchases. I had to call a manager over and threaten to return the bike and buy it online. Then they had trouble to find someone to explain a few things about the bike. I finally got the 10 percent off after I threatened to return the bike. No one offered to help me put the bike in my vehicle. Awful customer service. This was in the El Segundo store.

They have very poor customer service and why have store Managers if they have no authority to help their customers. One should not have to explain what they may have been through in the last 90 days and why they couldn't make it there with in that time frame. Managers should have the authority to authorize returns when its just days past 90 days. This is very poor business practice in todays day and age. I will not recommend or every purchase anything ever again from Dick's even though they are the closet to my home. I will drive out of my way to give another company my business that cares more about their customers and provides better customer service.
Made an order and tried to cancel it several hours later but they said it's not possible. They said return it to local store after the item delivered. The problem is it's been 3 weeks and item has not been delivered yet. Contacted dicks customer service, they didn't know either where the item was. But the worst thing was they didn't even care to find it.
I am so upset with the fact that I have missed out on multiple sales because it isn't available to add items to your shopping cart and of course they dont have the correct sizes or styles or the same sales in the store. I called the company and they have no concern with the site issues. They offer to take the order and honor the sale if you call by the day after BUT that was the worst. I was on the phone for almost an hour to buy two items! The operator was having issues entering information and wasn't able to take payment. She gave me an order number and said someone would call me by the next day to complete my order. They called 3 days later! Now here I am waiting for that order and trying to take advantage of a new sale but still no luck to order through the web and ill be damned if I keep chasing them to spend my money. Any other company would love to get those sales. Dicks needs to shut down and get their act together.
If I could leave a negative review, I would. Me and my boyfriend bought my father 165 dollar sunglasses for them to not put them in the case. I did not know we had to check absolutely everything down to the case now…. He opened up an empty raybans case on Father's Day. Disgraceful. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I purchased a $300 Taylormade Sim2 Fairway wood as part of a larger $2500 purchase of Clubs. 91 days after purchase and maybe at most 100 swings the crown of the club flew of on swing contact. On the inside of the crown head, there was a number written in black magic marker and a huge glob of glue from where they had obviously had the club returned before. After 2-3 hours of hassle to get a replacement club, they asked me to ship the club back via Fed Ex. Two weeks after I sent out the package the club was returned with a piece of tape on the crown and a note attached mentioning the club was used and not returned within ninety days. The club was delivered on June 6 and I initiated the return on Sept 6. I've spent 4-5 hours of phone time attempting to get this reconciled as I've spent a couple more hours tonight. Still no resolution. Customer Service is God Awful. I will likely be outside their store tomorrow showing people how well they treat customers.
This is false! I ordered on Dec 17 and was to receive by the 21. Well now I won't have until Dec 27 and I called to request a credit because of their guarantee and was told they couldn't help me due to weather delay. Then this should be stated under the FREE guarantee! I will not be ordering from this company anymore.

I ordered an $80 helmet that SHOULD have came brand new. Soon as I opened the box, it looked used! It had many scratches and scuffs. I paid for a brand new helmet and got a used one. I'm very upset! This was my first time shopping with them too.
Was sent a clearly repackaged item from Dicks: old glue still on the package, literally covering it. Looking through the plastic container, a clearly broken item in it. Clearly no quality control nor pride in their work at Dicks. I'd stay away, especially if your item is for a gift at the holidays... chances are the item will be repackage return from another dissatisfied customer.
I went for an exchange on brand new tennis shoes young man told me the price and a very rude young girl and a lady manager in duty couldn't have been mite rude I shop at dicks at least 2 times a month because I really don't like academy but I will never go back. The man manager is so nice Ty but he wasn't there what a shame they need to learn how to treat customers
Went to tye Harrisonburg Dicks looking for baseball cleats. We dug through all the shoes looking for specific size, look over and the associate is sitting on floor never offered once to assist. I approached him to see if they had the size only to be told i dont think we do. I replied would you mind looking on your computer to see if you have it in inventory. With no energy he went said no we only have kids sizes in the back. He didnt offer to order or nothing, so guess what ill order from elsewhere. Then when i go to pay for the shirts i had the cashier walks away making us wait longer. Mind you this was on a sunday and maybe all the college staff working was still recupping from there sat partying. God help us with the next generation of workers.
I entered the Dicks Sporting goods store in massapequa ny. I needed some good foot ware as I spend a lot of time on my feet working in the hospital. Store was pretty much empty. I couldn't tell the difference between staff and customers. They must have only display running shoes out, and the stock must be in the back. I spent 15 minutes in there without any help then decided to leave empty handed. When I got home I ordered a couple pairs of brooks foot ware online.
I have spent thousands of dollars at Ducks Sporting Goods it was my go to store now I speak out tell anyone He'll With Dicks - Grow A Dick maybe then you will treat customers as you would want and your superiority white privilege gives you.
They are racist workers as many as 10 of them keep following me throughout the store. The headquarters have been notified has not reached out to discuss this complaint and I have all on video on at least 5 times in as little as 6months & more.

I ordered soccer cleats. They were supposed to be delivered on March 31. After they didn't show up, I called and was assured they were processing. The very next day they were cancelled, because they were out of stock. We checked the website again, and the cleats were still shown as available.
I order a bike which is in stock. Next day it's not but there's one at another store. I select that store. I receive an email that my order was cancelled but oh goody the kickstand and water bottle holder are in stock. I call to cancel. I get an email stating I've picked up my bike And I could go on and on frustrating and disappointing but most of all incompetent. Never again
I was surprised at some of the low reviews- I had the best experience. I ordered a pair of sneakers that were not as shown in the photo (no fault of DS but from the manufacturer), and they immediately refunded me my money with no questions asked (I actually was able to speak to customer service on the phone)! I bought another pair of sneakers, which literally came the NEXT DAY, and they were perfect. I will buy from Dick's again when the time arises!

On August 28,2023 my daughter and I went to DSG - we ordered her Nike shoes because they were in stock, just not at that particular store. We have yet to receive her shoes! I called and was told that the shoes were coming directly from Nike! If I would have known that, I would have just ordered them from Nike myself! DSG does not know when Nike will be shipping the shoes, they have to call Nike, wait 24 hours, before they will hear from Nike! This is a huge pain, we were told they were in stock, and that we would receive them on 9/5! Now, they don't know and they don't know when they will be shipped. Do yourselves a favor - buy your items directly through the vendor! Skip the hassle, the lies, the disappointment from Dick's Sporting Goods (DSG)!

Placed an order online got the email confirmation right after I placed my order. Realized I ordered the wrong item tried to cancel my order right away online but it kept telling me that my order number was wrong. So I called customer service and talked to a representative they told me I could not cancel my order because you have a 20 minute to 30 minute time frame so I explained that I tried to cancel online but it said my order number was wrong. I literally tried to cancel right after I received my email confirmation it was like maybe 10 minutes. They still would not cancel so I will never shop with the again I also sent an email to the ceo.
Placed an order online for a softball bat pack and could not price match a competitor.
I still placed the order and used a $10.00 coupon but called customer service before finalizing the order to see if I could have my daughters name placed on it, for a cost of course. Customer service said that when I receive it, to bring it to the store and it could be done at store level. I went to the store after receiving it and was told that they don't do it. I could have either ordered it cheaper with the same result or another competitor was offering to place a name on it, the same price I paid at Dicks.

CURBSIDE SHOPPING: I placed an online order for curbside pickup and all went well. I arrived, parked in the curbside, and checked in... nothing happened. I finally went in and there was a online order area... unstaffed and no employee in sight. I went to the adjacent in-store checkout area and asked a cashier... who pointed to the unstaffed online order area. I turned back to the cashier and, after a moment, he flagged down an employee who then came over and got the merchandise for me.
If you no longer actually provide curbside service - at the curb - then please stop offering the "service"!
IN STORE SHOPPING: Staff is tough to find - for asking a question, reaching tall shelves or racks, and especially when ready to access a fitting room any place other than the golf-wear area.

I took the time to fill out a survey, which I generally don't do, and was supposedly "awarded" a cooler. I paid for the shopping and now haven't heard a thing for two weeks. Beware, Dick's seems to be running a scam! If you get a chance to fill out a survey just pass on it. It is a complete scam!
