I was so happy to find Diet Doctor. Easy recipes, great videos. I like that I can change the meal plans around to what I prefer to eat and the number of servings also. Very informative website. I also like the info from Dr Fung on Intermittent Fasting. I always recommend this website
I'm a senior, on a budget and the value in content on the Diet Doctor site is unsurpassed, I have used other health and food plan sites but this one gives me everything I need, from recipes to cutting edge science. I cancelled once but floundered without the recipes and up-to-date news on the emerging science of keto-living. Thanks for being here!
I can only echo the previous positive comments left here; Dietdoctor provides both the recipes and guidance that you need to eat low-carb/keto, but also the explanation that helps you to understand why it works (or may not be in some cases).
After many attempts to "diet" that have inevitably stalled and failed, I'm now making real progress towards my ideal weight without feeling as though I'm restricting myself, and best of all I feel great while doing it!
Recipes go from being suited to even the most novice cook, right up to some proper gourmet cuisine if you feel so inclined. All meal types are catered for; Italian, Indian, Oriental...
Obviously one solution won't work for everybody, but for me this has been a life-changer!
I have found the articles do not present dogma and invite the reader to come to their own conclusion. So many useful tools to get motivated. The two week challenge kick started me and a well formulated ketogenic diet has transformed my life. I have now been doing the keto way of eating for over eight months and 20 kilos lighter. I am now the lightest I have ever been my entire adult life (in forty years). My son age 22 was recently diagnosed with diabetes 1 and my 17 year old daughter are also living it too. There are so many good things about it but the best is the stabilised mood and energy so I can work all day long without any slumps
If you are interested in your health and / or losing weight, then this site is an important collection of resources. You need to read it to understand, know what and why you're doing. I started keto in 2017 and lost 22kg in about a year. I have just had my cholesterol levels checked (Oct 2019) and they're normal, with slightly high *good* cholesterol, and my thyroid antibodies are now under 50 (were over 1600 in the past), I'm the healthiest I've ever been.
So I only needed to shift 7-10 lbs but DietDoctor provided me with an easy and simple guide to recipes, low carb eating, how to's and how not to's - and 12 days in - my goals are reached. And what is more - I feel great, my skin is glowing, my energy levels are amazing - what's not to like. The recipes and meal planner are a godsend - it would be great if there could be a Keto/carb calculator incorporated just to keep tabs on macros when first starting out avoiding guesswork for a day's meals. I would say its worth trying because it may not suit everyone - I know my body copes better with low carbs so this was the perfect way for me to shift some excess fat.
Thank you to everyone involved in putting the site Diet Doctor together. You made my transition easy and with all the videos, and info on your site, I could understand so much. LOVE the two-week challenge with easy recipes and shopping list.
I feel like Dr. Eenfeldt (for LCHF) and Dr. Jason Fung (for intermittent fasting) saved my life. Using their methods I lost 30 kilos I now weigh what I did 50 years ago when playing football at Yale! Jamie
I was 235 lbs and in so much pain. I couldn't even dress myself. My natural path recommendation this site and I started with the two week Keto challenge. 22 months later I'm 105 lbs lighter, back to work full time at a very physical job, going to the gym 3 times per week and rocking my life. Thanks Diet Doctor!
I have found Diet Doctor to be extremely valuable as I navigate the world of low carbohydrate nutrition. The interviews, videos, articles and testimonials are well done and very informative. The recipes I've tried are good and uncomplicated. The people you'll "meet" are wonderful; from Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt, MD to start, right on through to the everyday users that offer their own stories. Dietdoctor.com is a fantastic resource for anyone who plans to follow a low carbohydrate way of life.

Answer: This is a keto low-carb diet, similar in many ways to other strict low-carb diets. This is an approach that has been extensively tested in dozens of high-quality studies, that have shown that it results in more weight loss, less hunger, and potentially increased metabolic rate. At Diet Doctor, we work to make low carb simple. And everything you need is available for free, forever. Our premium services are also free for a month. Answer: $9 per month according to the site. Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Deborah! We don't sell or recommend specific supplements. Our premium program is free to try out for a month, after that it's USD 9.99 per month or 99 dollars per year. Losing weight happen at individual speeds that can not be predicted in advance, but realistically and long term 1-2 pounds per week is a very good result for a sustainable and enjoyable plan. That would thus take around 30 months at that speed, and the total cost of using our program for those 2.5 years (after the free trial) would be 250 dollars on the monthly plan or somewhat cheaper on the yearly plan. Best, Andreas Eenfeldt

Losing weight happens at individual speeds that can not be predicted in advance, but realistically and long term 1-2 pounds per week is a very good result for a sustainable and enjoyable plan.
