I cancelled Disney plus 11/22. They continue to draft my bank account every month. I have been on chat and phone for 3 hours. They agree that the service was cancelled but don't know why I'm still being billed. I have asked for a supervisor/manager 6 times and have yet to speak to one. This is terrible customer service. Never, ever let them draft on your account. I will now have to dispute each charge through my bank.

This magical app is for animated movie lovers, those who enjoy colorful visuals & dazzling music will most definitely have a whimsical experience. For a reasonable $7 annual monthly payment, you can enjoy the full lineup of all Disney has to offer, classical shows ranging from way back to the 1900's to modern day productions. I for one dislike the remakes for "obvious" reasons, am not opposed to the idea of different adaptations, it simply has to be done right. The lineup also includes properties that I most certainly was unaware of, I think potential customers will be pleasantly surprised, the only problem you'll have is deciding on what to watch next, thankfully there's a "Watch List" that you can setup as your personal schedule, its really handy. I personally enjoy this app, & have been subscribed for months now. I am well pleased & highly recommend it to those who like animated & live-action movies.

The video quality is excellent, with several 4K movies available. It includes almost all Disney films, as well as Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar. They haven't added much new material since its inception, at least not at the same rate as other streaming providers. I get it is less expensive than others, however, I wish there was more current original stuff. It's fantastic for kids.
This app is built by people who either just started programming or quit half way through college. We download some of our sons favorite movies to his tablet so he can enjoy them in the car and 75% of the time when we go to play them they say "no internet connection detected" and won't play any of the downloaded movies. No crap...no internet connection?! That's why we downloaded the movies. This has been a problem with this app since day one and it has not been fixed.
To you crazy people who think all movies are just made for you and your kids...suck@ss. If your child is too young to watch 2 male characters gaze at each other and ask you, their parent, a question about it then your child shouldn't have free reign of the app. Disney not only wants to make heteros feel included but all others too. Too bad you hate everyone not like you.

Horrible customer service. Twice I have contacted support and neither time could they fix the problem. The second time after two multi hour sessions on chat, I told them if they could not fix the problem they should refund my yearly subscription and cancel the account. So they cancelled the account and refunded a pro-rated amount. F##$ idiots. They just gave up! There is an obvious software problem with updating profiles which apparently, they refuse to fix which gives a minor primary account access to change anything.
Disney plus is actually such a staple in my life - all the marvel, starwars and cartoons just really hold a special place in my heart because they are so easy and enjoyable to watch! I love that it has the new marvel tv shows as well, all of them are soooo good!
1st Disney has departed from it's intended core. It seems like it has become to be used to push a political ideology (agenda). Disney should return to what it does. Entertainment, without subtle messaging. I.e. "woke" ideology. Kids don't need such messaging from the extreme "left" of society.
No wonder subscriptions are down. In fact more & more people are canceling their Disney plus subscriptions.
I changed my email address and it created some sort of glitch in the system as I was told. I've been waiting 6 weeks for a refund. I've spoken to 21 Disney and Hulu reps and 5 Disney and Hulu supervisors
Nobody has any answers as to why my refund is not going through. I'm told to wait for a callback within 3 business days and tier 3 is working in it... then i need get called back and have to call back over and over... this has been happening for well over a month now. I was also hung up on by a representative because he didn't like my tone of voice.
I subscribed this morning BECAUSE, The App said they could Stream 'Luke Cage'. Paid for it. Logged on.

Disney signed for the Kardashians and I'm amazed how they would think a family that rose to fame by a father who defended a murderer, a sex tape, plastic surgery, materialism are values that should be promoted on the network. Needless to say I won't be tuning in. I never had in 20 years but it's making relook canceling my Disney+ membership so my kids don't wonder into seeing that trash.We deserve better values on Disney+

I have a Samsung 22 Ultra that allows me to screen share Netflix on the Tv and watch You Tube or other streaming services at the same time.
No issues ever.
No Buffering.
But with Disney Plus it is alway trying to Buffer.
The longest contenual view time is less than 60 seconds. Then 10 to 15 seconds of buffering.
No problems with Netflix, Hulu, Tubi, Pluto and sever other sevices.
Very Disappointed with Today's Disney.
I have several family members and friends that are having the same issues.
I've never had anything against anyone's sexuality but pushing it on children is wrong. All the agenda's on Disney are so obvious now. Let our kids be.

I like this website as it has everything like movies, shows and parks. Its subscription is also affordable. Can watch Marvels, Avengers etc.
I was surprised to have confirmation from Disney that Disney+ "edits" programs removing all swearing, adult content - even with the parental filter "off" - set to 18+, you are STILL unable to view the full program. Ever wondered why you NEVER hear Peter from Family Guys cursing and swearing the way you do on DVD or even free-to-air tv? Likewise with Rodger on American Dad.? That because Disney have added "bleeps" to all the swearing. Similar changes and alterations are also performed on full length feature films.
The problem I have is if I choose to watch something on Disney+, I will never know if I'm watching the program the way the director and production creatives intended me to watch it, or if I'm watching Disney's 'watered down' version - usually two VERY different programs.
Why they don't stream the FULL program and rely on parental filters is unclear. What IS clear is that the majority of subscribers think they are paying for AND receiving full, unedited programs - and they're not.
Great subscription service, suitable for all families, and for your children to enjoy a great movie night.
There's no doubt that there's a ton of great content on Disney Plus literally something for all the family. Some major movies are missing, but that's down to region restrictions and laws in specific countries, so we can't fault Disney for that.
The real problem comes with the actual player. On my TV (a recent Samsung SmartTV) the app is awful. Content stops to buffer every few seconds. Okay I don't have the fastest internet, only about 10Mb/s, but Netflix and Amazon Prime don't have these problems neither of them ever buffer. Disney is virtually unwatchable most of the time. Nothing takes you out of a movie like having the action stop-start-stop-start! It's not much better on other devices (I use iPads and MacBooks) either.
My other main quibble is the interface. The main screen for selecting shows is hard to navigate and so, so slow... thumbnails take minutes to load. There's a button to "skip recaps", but there's no way I've been able to find to actually navigate to it. And another personal bugbear is subtitles they're only available in one language for most content. Netflix manages a dozen or more.
I know all of these problems are fixable because Netflix has managed. They have a bigger catalogue, a way better interface, and no buffering or speed problems. But they also don't have Disney's shows.
I'm keeping my Disney Plus subscription going for now because it's relatively low priced, and because I hope that the app will get better over time. If it worked properly, it would be great value.
When you join Disney + It is all fireworks, you know the bling bling - Trying to unsubscribe is a path to hell!
