I had an appointment and had completed the online paperwork prior to arrival. Although the place looked like a third world country flea market, the service was quick and courteous. For all the complainers, do your upfront application, bring correct documents and be respectful. Easy.
I think it is a disgrace since the pandemic you people are having consumers to now go online just to come get a duplicate of a lost driver's license. Close locations you have to wait a WHOLE MONTH to get in so COME ON what are we doing? I need to rent a U-Haul and I can't because they require your license so this online appt is garbage and please go back to just walking in because I had to get my kids to help me try and schedule. If I could I will rate this service a MINUS ONE.
I understand the complications of the dmv process and because of COVID. But people are confused. They need to put out signs, let people know before they wait in line for 3-4 hours. We dont know if they are done taking tickets for the day when DMV normally closes at 4. Today i was in like for about 20 min until a guy said he was the last person they were taking today. If he didnt say anything we woild of been in line for a very long time. Wasting my time. I thank all the staff for doing what they are doing im not saying they are failing. They just exspect everyone to know what to do and where to go. I also dont see that many employees outside. And last time i was at DMV there were a bunch of ladys outside gossiping. Put signs up, more employees,. Something.
Rude customer service: I was recently at the DMV in Trenton New Jersey… I was a palled by the behavior of the staff and the rudeness to the customers not to mention the elderly. I understand these are hard times but we are just trying to obey the law and do what is right as consumers. I to work with the public and I would never scream at them the way the staff screams at customers. Any services that can be done online or by mail would be greatly appreciated rather Than spending four hours in such a negative behavior atmosphere. And I understand that the workers might be frustrated however there is no excuse to holler and be short with people. There is absolutely no compassion for helping anyone who has a question. I watched an 85-year-old man with a flip phone be told by a staff member sorry you have to make an appointment online. Does anyone maybe consider that he does not have the ability to do so? I hope the higher ups can find a way to make positive changes with the DMV services. And I hope I never have to go back.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DVM.com! I bought the drivers ed course and the practice tests and some other stuff but when I got to the end of the purchase it said "Start courses Now!" so I clicked on it and it took me back to the home page... and when I tried to long back in it would not let me... it said I wasn't registered. I wasted $60... wow.

DO NOT GET TRICKED INTO USING THIS SITE. I entered DMV into my search engine and this came up. Assuming I had CA DMV I went to the site and entered all my information. Boy did I get taken. I am so mad at myself for getting tricked like this. I am usually very cautious online. Fortunately I was able to get a hold of them right away and cancel. They are NOT paying your registration. You are buying some hokey manual that is supposed to help you go to dmv. I cant believe that sites like this are allowed to continue when they are clearly scamming people. Please dont use.
This is by far the worse site I have ever been to I was unable to get my pin so I could renew my tags and even when I called the customer service number an answering machine informed me of high call volume and that my call could not be taken I recommend never using this site

I thought I was renewing my license, instead I'm charged $2.99 for a roadmap to go to the ACTUAL DMV for a renewal. They should NOT be able to register DMV.com for their domain name. TOTALLY MISLEADING!
I called them up to schedule an appointment for a written permit test they scheduled it for the wrong service so i called them up again (calling them was a wait of an hour minimum and they told me that i can still go so i waited a month for my appointment i went down and they don't want to give a test! I spent about 5 hours only to get the appointment AND NOTHIN!
The representatives have no idea what the hell they are talking!

The DMV website is total junk, if I could give it ZERO stars I would. I have never encountered such a pile of dung as theirs, EVERYTIME I log on to use it I encounter difficulty, if its not the field not accepting what you typed in, it doesn't know how to count. You are supposed to get three logins but often if you make the slightest error, you are locked out. 3 means 1 in their world. No one else's website security comes close to their incompetence. Today I tried to change the insurance information on one of my vehicles, it accepted the NAIC code but when I tried to enter the next block, it still reflected the OLD INSURANCE COMPANY! WTF! Fix this or get rid of it, tired of dealing with it!
Like a fool, I attempte to buy this "course" for my wife. Te site took my credit card info and gave NOTHING in return. Any attempt to retrieve password was futile - note there is NO actual contacts listed for tis Canadian (?!) company Words of warning: If it looks too good to br true, then it is. My Credit card company immediately cancelled my card to avoid further damsge. I wis I had taken my own advice. DO NOT give this site ANY personal info. I was luvky enough to sTOP the card before they could charge it. It more than likely would have been disastrous. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEVIOUS SITE...
In my estimation, this site - which goes to great length to seem as if it is the official DMV site is simply trolling for sensitive information that could be used in identity theft. BEWARE!
Just got off the phone with Setera from DMV Insurance. What a frigging horror show. I was instructed by Albany DMV to contact them. Waited over an hour and then was told that she could not help me and she didnt know why they sent me to the insurance department. The acknowledged that they have the receipt of transfer and of the insurance but they are still going to suspend my license anyway on the 16th as my new registration has not gone through. She was a frigging horror and unwilling to offer any information on how to remedy the situation. I have been trying to transfer the registration to the new vehicle since the 5th of September and it is still not done. I know Covid messed up everything but Government Workers who just dont give a sh... t should be fired from their position. Its as frustrating for the general public as it is for everyone else involved. 4 Months for a registration and in the system it says its done but it never completed. I am at wits end. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with DMV...
Have been waiting so far over 2 hrs! Tried to make an appointment last week and no appointments was available till 8-17-20 This is the DMV in Longwood Florida.
I purchased a car from VW and was undergoing a title transfer. Paid VW and waited for the title to arrive. It took them months to attend to it on their end and to send me the title. When transferring the title online, the DMV imposed a few penalties equaling about $200 for lateness. Since the delay was no fault of mine, I sent them a request for waiver of the penalties, as that was supposed to be a valid request anyways, and I thought, if not for this circumstance, then when? I sent the transfer of title which has a couple of dates signed by VW reps clearly indicating that they slacked this off for months. The DMV sent me back the same paperwork I sent them, asking for more money and asking to resend the same paperwork. Why did they have to resend paperwork for me to pay postage once again and resend is beyond me! Nothing mentioned about whether they are denied my request, just another statement with late fees. So I sent them emails. As expected, their email correspondence is as crappy as their service on all forums. By the time I got an idiot to correspond to me, the verdict was basically "we don't accept. You were supposed to know that you could've paid for it with the DMV even before the dealership transferred the title" Really, moron? If I don't know how far VW has been getting on this, how am I supposed to make arrangements and know what to do.
DMV needs to learn common sense and know how to act human.

Went to Huntington Valley DMV on their website says they're open tried the door locked and they were closed do you think they could update the website totally unsatisfied
