I had an appointment and had completed the online paperwork prior to arrival. Although the place looked like a third world country flea market, the service was quick and courteous. For all the complainers, do your upfront application, bring correct documents and be respectful. Easy.
I think it is a disgrace since the pandemic you people are having consumers to now go online just to come get a duplicate of a lost driver's license. Close locations you have to wait a WHOLE MONTH to get in so COME ON what are we doing? I need to rent a U-Haul and I can't because they require your license so this online appt is garbage and please go back to just walking in because I had to get my kids to help me try and schedule. If I could I will rate this service a MINUS ONE.
They deceive you, take your payment information, charge you without even finalizing transaction and there is no contact available. When filling out the "contact us" via email they force you to fill out a survey to get more personal info from you and if you dont they dont accept your question!
I went to the DMV location off 30th street near Busch Gardens to get a new copy of a title for an enclosed trailer and they told me they didn't have an appointment available for 2 days. I drove to Pasco county to the Land o lakes location and I walk out with the title with in 30 minutes.
Hillsborough county needs someone to run this department that understands customer service.
My family member was tricked by this site when he wanted to renew his license. This comes up early in search results and their whole "not affiliated with government" disclaimer" isn't enough to offset what looks like an official site, with official-looking links like "Renew your license" front and center. This is especially easy to confuse people with when they're using mobile phones to access the site but pretty bad on full-size computer views, too. They charge rates that are close to if not exactly the same as an actual license renewal, but you're not getting a license renewal! They still charged $3.99 "processing" when we called to say this wasn't what we thought it was. This site probably makes most of its money on "processing" fees and the rest on poor schmucks who don't realize they're not actually getting the service they're looking for. It's abhorrent that DMV.com is allowed to operate.

This site is a data troller. They are taking your personal information and doin' God knows what! Do ur homework and look-up ones respective states' DMV or RMV.
The extra charges for renewing vehicles online is complete ripoff of California residents! I get notice by mail to renew my 11-yr-old trailer registration for $133. If register online, it costs $167! The extra $34 is various e-handling fees. The price of vehicle registration in the state is already way over the top, and now they want yet more money. And, they get my money sooner and can collect interest on the money that much sooner and longer. With 40M people in the state, that is serious cash.
Meanwhile, private companies (mortgage, credit cards, etc) beg me to do all my transactions online AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! Just another reason why people are so annoyed at the way they are being represented and "served" by government.
If only a zero rating was possible.
So I moved and called to update my address as I have always done well found out when I called that they stop that a few years sho. Was given a website to go to and update my address. It's been over an hour im trying to do this but it's not working. It's not letting me do a address update but it will take my money for a replacement card but no address change. I was told that I can update my address without getting another Driver's license. I even copy and paste the code it sent to my email and it says it's invalid every time. I'm done with this site and these lying customers service.
First of all, I'm so sick of this place that I have lost count of how many times I have gone since I started driving! I got my license in May and they said in 3 weeks I'll get my actual license but it has been 3 months! I have called many times, and I have been on hold for a long time and it is just so infuriating when it is urgent! My provisional license expires next week and they just take their time when somethings are actually urgent af!
I am aa 16 year old girl who wishes to be like her friends and others and get her permit. I have been 16 for almost 4 months, and have yet to let the dmv give me my permit of numerous reason. Not only is their website incconvient but so our the people that work there. I was told on website that they were trying their hardest to meet my requests and still haven't been able to print out confirmation paper. I have stayed on the website refreshing for 3 days straight. And I have also made multiple rescudles because the dmv does not know how to please people and do their job.
The greeters by in large are not trained enough to give proper advise related to proper paperwork required to register a vehicle or boat. Some of them have attitudes from the get-go. They have been an issue for YEARS! Multiple trips are necessary due to this and there is no criteria FOR the proper paperwork. Then they block you from coming in when you do have the proper paperwork. Nick M. Should do a better job in hiring or promoting current employees. The supervisors are no better! BEWARE!
4hrs waisted just waiting for a simply service. That's sad they don't have a better system. I came at 8:30 am by 8:47am I got to speak to the receptionist and is noon and still have not been seeing yet!

I am a 75 year old caregiver... I took my 90 year old lady that I care for to get her handicap plaque... after sitting there for 45 minutes with an appointment we got caller back by a gentleman named Jose! I have never been talked to so rudely in my life... he keep insisting the name of the vehicle my lady was driving! I told him she hasnt drove in years... then he ask me why she needed the handicap plaque... this guy was new and even said he had never issued a plaque before... so why was he so rude to me? I had all the paper work that was needed... he couldn't even do a change of address for me. So I got nothing accomplished... he plainly told me he had other people to see... he did not give me 5 minutes of his time...
I went on line to pay my husbands truck registration. I went to DMV.com and the site is very well put together I thought I was paying the DMV. I was not given a receipt after what I thought was a payment made and realized by looking at this site and others it was a scam. I cancelled my credit card within 30mins and the company took $3.99 out of the account. It caused me great upset as this outfit took money out of my account without any authorization. Make sure you go to the official website to pay online www.dmv.ca.gov.
Just received registration and license after 4 months. This is beyond ridiculous even with Covid excuses in today's world. I personally a few months ago surrendered my plates. Was told wait for receipt in mail. After 4 weeks I add an appointment to find out where and why it's taking so long. That meant I had to continue paying for two vehicles on my insurance. I had obtained coverage on the said vehicle that I surrendered the plates on. Went 3 more times to the DMV to be told they must have been put in the wrong bin. The one to be destroyed. Had to file a police report stating they were stolen. The next day had to go back and get the receipt. Then went to clarify al this with ins. Comp. This is unacceptable and wrong. Why aren't the workers at DVM doing their job? What's wrong with all this? Something major, that's for sure. Totally disgusted!

Everyone I communicated with was horrible- all act like robots. No efficiency. Had to be in 3 lines and had to wait each time despite the appointment. There is no clear sign where to go if have an appointment. Had to stand in line to learn where to go. Then I was given a number and fess told to sit- do not allow standing. Once my number was announced, the rude lady told me to fill in the application on one of the computers and then stand in red line. So I did. Then another lady called me and told me stand on another line to pay. By this time, I was pissed. First Lady could have told me fill out application while I waited to be called for the first time. Hopefully, I will not have come back for another 15 yrs to renew license.
It is a SCAM with capital S! It pretend to give useful information and official site! I thought it was for replace license registration sticker, but it asked me to charge my credit card! It is not an official site!

If you are from other country don't go for driving test in Henderson. The women there are the most mean and not helpful people. This people there knows now to make people miserable and they definitely intimidate a lots of costumers. Stand by for driving test is hell... You will pass the test only if they fill like it, other than that you will go back and $11 will be charge many times. Do not lose your time specially if you are from other country, no way to pass and you can stay there for 8 hours still not going to be call and when your number is about to be call they will inform you at 415 pm that no more stand by will be examined. Power under DMV head. Go to Sahara or Decatur location. All my family pass with no problem and definitely better costumer service.
Today I visited 201 W Arrowood for my drivers licens renewal for me and my son. They skipped our turn and called next number. Then I request and second time after a 10 number wait(almost 1hrs waiting because they continued to skip our turn) finally they announce my number but never announce my son number. I din't get my license because of additional document request. Neither my son, because they keep saying that your son number called but he never attended, we were seating next to Monitor watching for our turn, but front desk person keep telling same thing.We are returned home without Driver License renewed. Now I have to wait for another 2 month for my turn. Very Frustrating for both of us after spending 3 hrs.
I am a U.S. citizen and I discover that I have multiple driving licences issued by the Schenectady and Clifton Park DMV to a number of people using my name and identity and assaulted and harassed for making a complaint against the perpetrators.
Not only do they charge $25 for a report that arrives 3 hours later... you can get the same exact report immediately from the CA DMV website instantaneously for only $2! Way easier on the ACTUAL California DMV website... and waaaay cheaper.
TO make matters worse, they sell your information to lists so you start getting email offers for unsolicited services. STAY AWAY FROM DMV.com

All I want to do is to update my old address to my address for my drivers license. Since DMV is making this action impossible its as worse as making an appointment to wait in line which is even far worse. It's as if DMV for New York is way back in time, and does not need any services from anyone. I think that the DMV can do better, maybe hire better professionals. I cannot even sign in because DMV would not accept temporary password as an old password and let me create any new password. DMV website does not even allow me to proceed when prompted to create and answer new questions without saying the URL has expired. I am very dissatisfied with this service and I think that the whole DMV team are lazy to keep up with New York as a whole, they only care about money rather than service. Have a good night!
It's really sad how rude and nasty this one employee was. You never know what a person is going through. Her attitude was disgusting. Maybe she needs to up her dosage on nice pills.

The site for registration is very confusing. It seems to only register gold plates and uses arcane questions to be answered, as weight etc. Why not ID plate number or Vin?
I paid $29.95 to get my wife's driving record from Florida. They were unable to get the report and Did not send me my money back.

They said go to the eye doctor and return with paper filled out by the eye doctor. Upon returning they said appointments only, which was 2 months away and my license expires in 2 weeks now. I explained to them that I work 6 days a week. They said oh well, walk in 7am to 8am only. I vsaid I am at work already and my license will expire before the next appointment and was told to return for Mr Gold Star Driver's license. They still said no. This was at 2pm. Plus there was 5 empty stations that could have had workers there.
