I like going to this park because their parking is so close to the beach for having a great picnic just a few steps away from your vehicle but they are lacking sufficient sidewalks and‏ bike Lanes (particularly towards the second half of the park where RVs and recreational vehicles usually park) yet they are renting several types of bikes at the beach. The bikers riding their own electric bikes often go way over the speed limit of 10 mph and they ride at speeds of over 40 mph or so, not observing the STOP Signs and the speed limit as they should.
The bickers often don't yield the pedestrians and don't even lower their speed when a pedestrian is present expecting them to move out of the way giving The Pedestrian the feeling that they're going to be run over by the biker!
Some Vehicles just speed up when they see your about ready to cross and it's very dangerous so the pedestrians need to be more cautious and not assume that the automobile or the biker will stop for them!
The Pedestrians they believe they always have the right of way could sometimes slow down be patient and yield the right of way to the automobiles that are riding on the two-way Road winning reality was designed for them not for the pedestrians joggers and bikers to gather in the middle of it like a herd of cattle! God Gave You brains so use it and be in charge of your own safety,
and at least move to the side of the road particularly when you are walking in groups of two or three, rather than taking over the entire Road at the slow pace, ignoring the vehicles behind you, acting truly like a cow in the middle of the road! I I'm referring to those groups of people who show no courtesy and have this attitude like they own the road! The same goes for the bikers and joggers who do not get out of the way for their own safety and they don't know how to share the road. The speeding bikers should get cited same as the the vehicles/automobiles
and if Reckless writing occurs again, they should be 86 or expelled from the park with a much higher fine imposed if they get caught doing it again because they're putting everyone at risk with their irresponsible actions.
I believe the park will be undergoing some construction work soon and I hope Expanding the Road, building a Walking Trail and a Bike Riding Path will be part of the plan to rebuild this park.
Another thing they are lacking for the crowd that they are receiving is ample showers or water source especially at the second part of the park where the RVs and recreational vehicles Park. For several years they've been giving the excuse of the pipes being broken and there is no water to the showers already installed on the outdoor for rinsing the sand off!
This is clearly a lame excuse, how many years does it take to fix the damn showers?!
People swim and picnic there and they need access to more water source!
The camping area is way too small and overly crowded to close for comfort making it unsafe yet all the kids are skateboarding and biking and the irresponsible parents should not allow that when there's heavy duty huge vehicles driving around trying to find their space to park! Not enough showers at times when the camping area is full. Overall this park is way too stingy about supplying water to the visitors they shut down the sinks over at the picnic areas if they see people using water well duh when they have a large picnics and barbecuing obviously they need access to water for washing things so be a little bit more kind and generous to the people and let them enjoy your Park more they're paying fees after all to park in this parking lot of yours I think it'll cover your expansion as well as your water bill!
