I booked on Monday, dropped off my parcel on Tuesday and it was delivered on Sunday (1day early). That was to Seattle from UK. I call that amazing. Post office is expensive and takes 4-5 weeks. I suspect only dissatisfied customers are leaving reviews.

Delivery driver never rings my bell, instead leaves my parcel in a public unsafe, unmonitored place, on a completely different floor to where I live for it to be stolen, huge sign with red writing says don't leave parcels there, he just ignores it and never delivers to my actual address/door, despite having the address and me being home. Ignores my notes in the safe space option which clearly states to do deliver to my door, and if I am not home leave it outside my door. This has happened over 17 times where he doesn't bother coming to my door.He has delivered to my actual address TWICE. He rings the bells of other flats to be let in, so he can leave it in the public place. Does not do his job properly

Poor communication to customers.
Their customer care is very unhelpful when you call. If a driver's car breaksdown, there is no backup so that work can carry on.

Re CASE No. *******:- your driver today 29/06/21 driving van DE70 EFO

You driver in the above van delivered to my next door neighbour a short moment ago today At 14.18pm.
Instead of turning on her drive he decided to try and reverse on my drive, very badly, he subsequently decided run over and destroy an established shrub and completely flatten is angle iron supports and then continue to leave tyre tracks over my kept lawn adjoining my drive. Please see supporting pictures from my CCTV camera (in reverse order)
I find his behaviour totally unacceptable and totally unnecessary as both drives are plenty big enough to turn a small lorry on!
I now have to replace my shrub, it's posts and repair the lawn to my acceptable standards.

Your drivers actions were totally blatant with a total disregard of people's property. Watch and listen to the ring cctv video! Hear the bang knocking over the posts! The driver did not even stop to look!

Reported via your customer service many times, no one can be bothered to get in contact although confirming my email, phone number etc several times… Shocking customer service

I'm very unhappy with dpd they are not perfect on them work what they doing i order something and delivery driver he didn't cnock on my door he just lying and he take my parcel near too Post Office near my house and he didn't let on my door scan code later and when I contact them they just playing and I can't pick up my parcel with out that don't use dpd is very bad working

There are no positive facts to mention. Packages get lost in depot. No response by email on questions. Not possible to access your parcel in the depot. Customer service give faulty tracking info.

I keep asking DPD to leave my parcels to be left in a secure location for over 4 months. The company sending my parcels have done the same.
But still dump and run

Yesterday driver didn't deliver. He was on the phone, supposedly couldn't find the place(hello, gps, google maps, 2022!), I told him I'll be down in a minute, saw him from the balcony, when I got out he was gone, wouldn't respond to my calls or text messages. Utterly unprofessional, useless, should be sacked asap! For things to be worse he marked the parcel as 'refused, contact name not recognized' - utter and complete lie and nonsense!

Another incident, just before Christmas, they once again 'attempted' only 1 delivery, instead of giving it another try they've sent it MILES away from my place to a collection point so I had to waste hours getting there! The message was 'we're saving CO2 by not delivering again' or something daft like that. Your job is to deliver, not to save CO2 by not delivering, another nonsense and absolute scam to save money, they couldn't care less about the customers or environment!

To add insult to injury, customer service absolutely USELESS. A chat bot, no one to complain to really. They might as well change their name to Hermes II - DPD - failing to deliver, that's the only thing they're good at! Disgrace, shame on you!

Appalling company.
My family had a delivery yesterday. The driver got angry when my daughter in law asked him to leave the parcel outside the front door in order to sterilise it - coronavirus. She did not want to take it from his hands.
He raged with lots of obscene language, kicked the parcel around, then spat at the windows with a lady and a 4 year old child inside terrified, then forced the gate open the wrong way and broke it, then drove off with the parcel.
The police are investigating (1) criminal damage (2) spitting at the windows. Disgusting thuggish conduct.
DPD were contacted, and initially were concerned and apologetic, but the end result is that as there is no video of it, no action will be taken, and the same driver will redeliver the parcel! Damage to the parcel routine for them, no problem. Damage to the gate? No video of it so they don't care.
Unbelievable.
Obviously my family won't allow the parcel to be delivered by this driver. It's probably wrecked anyway.
No employer I've ever known would deal with a matter in this way.
DPD should be ashamed of their conduct here.
The Police will no doubt take a dimmer view of his conduct.

Worse company ever!

Missed delivery and was told had to collect parcel would not re deliver item poor customer service as not able to collect so now have lost parcel and money i paid for it.

Rude behavior in the phone service in Austria 2 times. And left the parcel sent from Amazon without knocking at the door so it was tampered. No complain possibility in their website.

Twice now I was told a calling card was left and I wasn't in, I have been in the whole time, both days and no calling card was left, I live on a new build estate and this is the only company that cannot find my address, I rang up and asked for the driver to call me if they cannot find my house, no one phoned me, I also left clear instructions of how to get to my house and the closest postcode that shows up to mine and my house can be seen from the address I'd given, there are huge flags and an estate billboard. Phone service is poor, drivers can't be bothered to use their brains, just lie and say I wasn't in.

My parcel was originally supposed to be delivered on Wednesday 10/08/22, I didn't receive it as it was sent to the wrong address, I called they apologized and was meant to be then sent on Thursday and they sent email to confirm this, I yet still didn't receive it and I called again and they sincerely apologized once again & was confirmed for my parcel to be delivered on Friday, and again on Friday I still didn't receive anything and they said sorry on Monday, I still didn't receive anything on Monday, at this point they make me crazy and make my blood pressure very high. I spoke to them again on the same day and I said to them, you cannot keep lying and they sent a email and confirmed through the phone as well that if they fail to send it by DPD on 16/08/22 we going to use City sprint and yet again nothing happened. Now it is Wednesday and I called and they said someone will call me back from Southall depot but they did nothing

Yet again, I am here waiting and DPD Cornwall don't even bother to attempt delivery. This is the 3rd time now. Same driver as usual "Tyler". The other driver "Cameron" is amazng and ALWAYS delivers. DPD seriously need to look into Tyler's activities as he simply isn't even bothering to deliver parcels. Surely you can monitor Tyler's GPS locations of when he claims to have attempted delivery. From now on, I will be leaving DPD 1 star reviews everytime your driver deliberately does not deliver, so expect a lot of them. I've previously complained to DPD and nothing has changed. Once DPD resovle this ongoing issue, I will start leaving decent reviews. I run a bisiness and am reliant on deliveries arrivng on time.

Absolutely terrible company, no costumer service. Cannot deliver even if you pay. Driver uploaded a photo of the wrong house, what a joke. Should be investigated, it's a scam

DPD just sucks. I understand it's sometimes difficult for delivery guys to make their way to the right address, but they didn't bother to ask or at least notify me. The delivery guy just left with my package:)
Then I told them that it's fine, if they couldn't send it to me in person, I'll just pick it up in the parcel shop, and then they just sent it back to the sorting center?! Totally unnecessary and irresponsible!
Then today i just asked for my package again, and this time they stubbornly insisted that i sent an email to request delivery destination as my apartment, while yesterday the customer service just promised that i could go pick it up in the parcel shop, and again, they promised i'll get my package tomorrow, while i'm already out of town.
Now i've spent 3 days waiting in house for my package and still don't know where it is.
I paid 5 euros for the delivery, but it wasn't even worth 5 cent.
Definitely the most terrible experience i had with logistics company, none of the process makes sense
Think twice if you want your precious package to be in charge by this company, they basically screw everything up :) If any online platform is sending products via DPD, i think i'll simply skip the option :)) )))))

I've been battling with DPD since yesterday I was in and waiting on a delivery- I received an email saying I have missed my delivery and now I'm expected to travel nearly 10 miles to collect from a Homebase
Apparently my driver after failing to knock my door decided to ignore my clear delivery instructions that are both on my online account and on the physical door it's self. I don't drive and this Homebase is not easy to reach - the parcel required no signature now be aware apparently their new policy is they literally make the smallest effort to deliver then deliver somewhere else now correct me if I'm wrong they are paid to deliver to the home address! Apparently now they say there is nothing they can do I either get it by the 30th or loose it - I'm A. Unwell with a lifetime disability B. Not prepared to spent my own time and money to get my parcel

DPD just kept saying nothing can be done so clearly drivers are being told to speed things up and just dump items miles away from customers so they can capitalise on profit and get away with not actually doing their jobs - their policies are ridiculous and their attitude and customer service leave much to be desired! Shocking I'll be asking the sender to resolve this for me.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use DPD or if you are purchasing ask the sender seller not to use them

I received a notification they would deliver on a certain day. They did not come. I then got another notification 3 days later that they would then deliver on that day, but was only notified 2 hours before they said they would deliver. I was not at home so quickly changed the delivery to be to a pickup location near my house. No update or confirmation from them. Next day, they tell me they will deliver to the pickup location. No email saying it's ready, but in the tracking details it says it is already at the pickup location and ready to be picked up - very poor communication. And they have sent it to the wrong pickup location.
This is not the first time I have had the great misfortune of having a shipper send me something with DPD. Each time I've had to deal with this company it has been problems like this. I will now be asking online stores ahead of ordering if they deal with DPD and if they do, I will not be making any purchases. This is not worth the headaches this company creates. I would rate 0/5 if I could

Maybe hire people that can actually read...

The $#*!ed driver was at my door and then drove of and told me via mail that the adress was wrong...

I was supposed to receive a parcel today between 11:21 and 12:21. The driver showed up at 11:27. The delivery was an exchange. We were about to do the swap, when the driver suddenly told me that he could not deliver my parcel, because he was supposed to proceed to his "number 11" delivery, while I was "number 27". The driver claimed he had to do the deliveries in the right order. On my phone, the app said that he was currently at delivery number 24 (and not 11, as he claimed). I insisted and asked him if he was really sure he could not deliver to parcel (and take mine in exchange), and he confirmed that he could not. The driver then told me that he would be back in half an hour. Yet the app said that the driver was on a tight schedule and would not be coming back today. Here attached is a picture of the driver with his package and me with my exchange item, just before he refused to deliver the parcel. I have contacted DPD and they said that the driver indeed was not supposed to come back. If I did not have the picture, the driver could easily claim that he came and no one was there. Why he did that remains a mystery to me and is extermely frustrating as I stayed home today and cancelled other appointments just for this delivery.

Unreliable and terrible all around. Drivers don't even bother to find your address. The website is $#*! so even trying to fix the problem yourself is a hassle.

I wanted to receive invoices for packages I shipped and I literally COULD NOT receive these invoices. I called 10 times (you wait between 10 and 20 minutes every time), I was given email addresses to which I wasn't receiving any reply, I was calling back but the general customer service somehow cannot provide invoices so they transfer the call to other departments and either the call just randomly stops, either they transfer you again and the call... stops. So basically no one can help you just for a simple INVOICE.

I booked a parcel with drop off but QR code was not generated so it will not be accepted by the drop off point. There is no number for DPD that I can call. I had 2 parcels that were supposed to be picked up on Tuesday, no one showed up or gave me a call; it was re-booked for today (by P2G) - no one showed up again. I cancelled that order through P2G and ordered directly through DPD website. Code was generated for one parcel but not for the second one. Now I have NO OPTION to switch to printing the label at home or to regenerate the QR code. None of the numbers for your customer service is working, I've been trying to get through since yesterday. The online chat is not working. Nothing is working - just the payment system to send money to DPD for the service that I failed to receive 3 times now!
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.
This is unacceptable and there is no excuse to failing the customer 3 times with the same parcel!

DPD delivered my parcel to my neighbour, despite the fact that I was in all day. Fortunately, my neighbour is honest and brought the parcel round to me. Very poor.

If I could give in - 10 I would.
THIS COURIER IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD.
They didn't even bother to try and deliver my parcel as was proved via the GPS. Then they dumped it at a parcel station and then wouldn't let me pick up as the Parcel was in a different name.
EVERY TIME I have a parcel via DPD I have trouble!
Please companies stop using them.

They provide the most worse customer service ever by phone. Very unhelpful and unrespectfull females answering the phone speaking very bad English. Whatever the issue is it's never been resolved.
