Previously I was more critical on duckduckgo but I am converting my opinion. Their search function may not be as good as google but then they are not also compiling a database of everything you do on-line and then further sharing it with other organizations (including the government) behind your back. Our best hope is that we support this tool so that they can hopefully continue to improve it and to provide a counterbalance to organizations that are not interested in maintaining real user privacy. Duckduck go is ok, However it is very difficult to remove the last website visited. Right now the url box is stuck on the last page.
Nice to know that every move I make isn't being sold to god knows who online. Thank you Duck Duck Go for this amazing option.
It great for privacy but completely stupid when it comes to the search engine I seen a group of monkey's do a better job

When I searched for "quality facts the indisputable facts about racial equality, although outnumbered 9 to 1" DuckDuckGo had the website I was looking for at the top of the search results. I couldn't find the website I was looking for at google or startpage
The website at the top of the DuckDuckGo search results wasn't harmful this time (according to Norton). Below is the website I was looking for. By the way, after reviewing the website (below) some links (that the claims are based on) no longer exist.

I clicked on the 1st website at the top of the search results then I clicked on a link in the website and I got a message that all the files on my computer were locked; I could only delete the message by hitting ctrl alt Delete and then ending chrome. The search was for "When was the last time Ruth Bader Ginsburg was seen". The 1st website at the top of the search results was jowforums. Norton safe search works with google.com, Norton safe search doesn't work with duckduckgo.com

Duckduckgo receives my praise in no small part due to their devotion to protecting the privacy of the user. The search engine itself works very good.
They are for diversity hires. Any company that talks about "diversity" is more interested in image than protecting your privacy. Don't trust them.
Better than Google. Honest. Doesn't share with multiple sites. I hope. Doesn't manipulate data like Google does. Real not fake.
Selling our info just like Google. Forget it. Can you beleive this? Now they are squashing what they call "misinformation". Same as Google!
It focuses on privacy, and fast searching! Best works on Fire Fox in my opinion. Pretty fast, but i like more that it's focused on privacy too.

Duckduckgo recently said they would start boosting results based on their own values, which is the opposite of what they said they would do
Thought it was a provider. It gives you progressive insurance and I don't want progressive. Scam don't use the site

Unable to remove, no way to remove it be sure you want it gives you no out. I don't like anything that takes control of my pc.
It does answer the question i ask and changes my question so it give me what it wants and now what i asked or has incomplete answers
Your not spying, you don't keep history, you don't have online tracker, your search is private & good

Duckduckgo blocked trackers, advertisements and gave me an encrypted connection. This really is the best browser/search engine I've ever used.
Total waste of time, doesn't prevent sites from tracking and targeting you on phone or desktop so what's the point?

Duckduckgo no longer supported free speech and started to censor search results. I recommend using Brave Browser as the last hope.
On their youtube advertisement, it clearly states "GOOGLE FOLLOWS YOU AROUND WITH ADS." Well, in my opinion, DuckDuckGo does the same. Every day I see one of these ads and THEY SUCK

I recommend this search engine who unlike many others like google, focuses on real results (not commercial links) and privacy for the user
It is a very good searchengine and when i am searching stuff i wont get advertised by the company with the rest of the products
Nothing is perfect, but DDG is cleaner and quicker. All the drama over search? Get over it people. You don't wanna use, then don't.
