Even now, as a write this review, I am waiting as my computer whirls away, straining all of its seven processors to churn out one measly citation while also handling twenty gaudy ads.

Unusable. Footnotes no longer work and citations appear and disappear randomly. This would be the point where somebody comes up with a new citation site.

Its like they tried to cram every single space possible with ads and then fill your page up with popups for their plagiarism service, plus making you watch even more ads

Super slow, makes my computer get VERY hot, oh and not to mention that there are upwards of FIVE ads on every page. AND you have to watch ANOTHER ad before you can make another citation! Also, you can't cite anything but MLA8 without making an account. Use Citation Machine instead. Easybib used to be good but now is a dumpster fire of a website.

I cancelled service three months ago and continue to be billed. There is no contact information so my only recourse was to send a "support ticket." Still being billed...

Easybib provides an absolutely terrible service, it is filled to the brim with advertisements, slow as hell, and has extraneous pages which only exist to show you more advertisements.

This website is very bad and takes youth other random places on the website instead of copying my citation. As well as making me watch the ad three time because it kept going back.

I used to use this site which would easily and effectively help me create citations but now it's nearly impossible to make one because the site is so slow and overloaded with ads.

I don't like it. Read the title. I'm doing a class project and we are required to use easybib. The site crashed for us and that's only 30 people using it.

The website offers free trial of plagiarism checker. Does not indicate word limit. Does not write you have to register first, you upload file and then they demand money. My document is copywrighted but still I want to sue the company. Google should check before accpting ad for search, otherwise they will be accomplice in cheating.

One of the worst websites I have ever used. Terrible experience. It is just so slow and has so many adds, making it not "easy" and actually very hard.

There have been numerous times over the last months where I would have to start over on my citation lists. This didn't bother me at first until today. I left my laptop for a minute-A MINUTE- came back to add another citation to my citation list, only for the site to start glitching. It shuts me out, then makes me log back in again... my citation list-FOR MY FINAL SEMESTER PROJECT IS GONE. This isn't the first time it has happened, but this time pissed me off. I've been working on my project for the last 10 hours, and the easiest thing for my project has become the hardest.

I use to love this site back in high school(2 years ago), now its crap. I will no longer be using this site, there are better ones out there. Will be deactivating my account.

Advertising is inevitable, like death and taxes. Again, like both, it is disliked. And as with taxes, the public will only bear so much before turning on adblocker, sighing in relief, and silencing the noise. Easybib has reached this ad threshold and blown it out of the water. You are allowed three citations with adblocker enabled, after which the page is so filled with advertising that you cannot properly use it without accidentally clicking an ad. How, you ask? The ads are timed, so that they move elements on the page while you are attempting to use the interface, moving website elements up and down to dodge your cursor. Not only is this an exceptional nuisance to the user, but it is also dishonest in that the ad clicks will not be honest ones, rather the aforementioned accidental clicks.

What could possibly compel someone to be so evil? I ought to write my next essay on what went wrong with Easybib. God knows there's enough pent up frustration out there for it.

Easybib was exceptional. It is now garbage, but there isn't a good alternative.

Too many ads to function properly, it keeps crashing my computer. It works just the same as other auto citing websites out there that dont have anywhere as many ads

I'm was doing a slide presention and I was using easybib (which sucks). I ended up using Grammarly which is WAY much BETTER than easy bib so many ads and other things. I read the comments and I guess it is trash, I hope they upgrade this to a better level.

This has to be the slowest website of all time. I was going to wait and save all my citations after I did them all, and then I went to do that after my last citation and they had all deleted.

Every time I click the button to create a citation, it takes me to a webpage with highly inappropriate ads. This site was very helpful until this started to happen.

This company makes it very easy to sign up for a subscription, but very difficult to cancel. I tried to stop the service today and after an hour on the phone with two agents (the website links to chat or cancel were oddly not working) I was unable to stop the subscription. The reason? After providing them with over 5 pieces of identifying information, including the amount and last date the charges went through my bank, they were somehow unable to locate the account. So, they were unable to stop charging me. What? They explained that maybe there was a typo, or I didn't know what I was talking about regarding the email connected to the account. However, I pointed out that at that very moment when I was on the phone with them I was logged in to the account using the email I provided to them, so obviously the account is connected to that email. I think they are willfully ignorant when it comes to managing the database as this lets them make it very, very difficult to get a resolution for consumers, all the while continuing to charge customers. Somehow, when they want to get paid, they can find the account then, month after month.

1) It never flippin' works
2) If I use another website to cite, it has two COMPLETELY different citations, even though they're both MLA 8th Edition
3) All it does is let me put in the URL and it spins in circles
4) No need to do this. Just put the flippin' link in.
5) Sometimes the link doesn't work
6) Many times it says "this isn't a link." Uhhhh, yes it is dummy.

I'm a professor whose students often use EasyBib. EasyBib works just fine for most citation tasks However, EasyBib handles one task very, very poorly, and, unfortunately, this is the one task for which my students use it most often: if you use the "Website" option and enter a URL, EasyBib will_never_ give a correct entry for an article in an online newspaper or magazine, and it will only give a correct entry for another webpage if whoever published the website coded it correctly, using the work's actual title as the HTML title (and that doesn't even get into other details, like the publication date).

In short, though I know it's tempting to do the easy thing and just plug in the web address, it's just not gonna work, and you're better off just doing it by hand.

To many advertizments, That is only the first complaint about this site the second conplaint i have against this site is the fact that I cant even find a PDF and when going to the "support desk" they told me to do things i had already done 10 times I decided i would see if there was more details about what i could do but instead there an advertizment about how I should subscribe to the and pay money for the chicago format and more.
