I purchased an open box special visor. My truck is a "Patina" rust box. Figured a few dents and scratches would not be a problem. Was in really good shape. I'm glad they allow people to return items and resell them instead of throwing them away.
So far, my experience has not been good. I ordered a part for my Camaro a week ago and have not yet received an order confirmation, shipping confirmation, nothing. The only thing I've received from Ecklers is multiple requests to leave feedback. So, here ya go..
I bought parts for my corvette. They said all parts were in stock and would ship out tomorrow. The next day I called about my order and was told some of the parts were being shipped from somewhere else and they had been shipped, and would be there in 5 to 7 days. Day 7 came and no parts. So I called them and the parts have not even been shipped yet. Instead of telling the TRUTH they would rather lie to you. TWICE! DONT BUY FROM THEM!

I ordered a headlight switch for a 1997 corvette. The description said for a 2005-2013 corvette, but the fitment page said 1997-2013. I called and spoke with Josh. He said that according to the webpage, it should be correct. I said i was comfortable ordering it, but wanted to confirm that it was returnable. A lot of times, electrical parts are not returnable. Josh assured me that it was.
When the part arrived, it was unfortunately incorrect. I contacted Ecklers and requested a return. They asked for the reason, we discussed that, and they issued me an RGA label, freight prepaid back to them.
They apologized for the inconvenience and asked if there was anything else they could do.
Ecklers does Customer Service the way it should be done!
PS, they have already corrected the website. And it no longer lists this a fitting a 1997. Good job preventing future issues.

I had some questions regarding some seat emblems for a 1967 Fairlane, so I decided to call an Eckler's representative. The questions and answers I received were the following
The emblems I am looking at don't show the backing plate and retainer clips, do they come with them?
Answer: I don't know, it doesn't show on the website.
The description on the website says pairs of emblems are available at a discounted price but when I put a qty of two in the cart I don't see a discount, is there a separate part number?
Answer: There is no discount, where did you see that? (In the part description), Well there is no discount, do you want to place an order or not?
I suggested that I would complete the order online where the backer plates and retainers were added to the order.
Kind of disappointed that I had better luck with the website than a human but I understand not everyone can know all the details for each part.

I contacted Ecklers about their 1957 BelAir hood. I asked if they had any fit issues and the sales guy assured me that their parts fit because they are made to the same specs as the original. I bought the hood and when we got it installed all the gaps were way off. From the firewall to the front of the hood was bowed so that it would not fit flush with the fenders and the chrome hood bar would not match up with the rest of the grill extensions. I contacted them and they said they wouldn't refund but they would give me a
credit. Then they charged me for return shipping, even though the issue wasn't my fault. I would recommend you shop anywhere but here for body parts, trim and chrome bumpers and grills.

This has made has put me on the fence with ekler's. I have talked to customer service on this. You buy this in a pack of 4.3 is sent,...someone had to package these for shipment. Makes you wonder?!

I ordered a $700 gas tank for a 70-72 Camaro on March 31,2023. While installing it today (7/12/23), I noticed it does not fit. Upon looking at the package, there is one BIG sticker on there that states the item in which I purchased (1970-1973 Camaro Sniper Coated Steel EFI Gas Tank) There is also a smaller sticker (75-77 Camaro & 75-78 Firebird EFI Fuel Tank Kit). I was sent the wrong one. I talked with customer service who stated that the return policy is 30 days. Upon further viewing of the website, it states, "Eckler's standard return policy is 30 days from delivery. We do recognize that restoration projects take time though and that purchases aren't always used immediately, and so in some cases extended returns may be available for store credit." All I asked was for an exchanging of the CORRECT fuel tank. As with restoration projects, it takes months to years to complete. They failed to honor what I purchased in the first place.
