This app has a lot of potential for friends and bored people looking for friends. The only problem I have is that I personally get banned when I didn't do anything. Sure, people can get banned for sharing explicit content, but sometimes they get banned for skipping. When I SKIP, I only skip because either that person is trolling, sharing adult content/nudity, or afk. Another thing is to please make a system r something to keep people from trolling and giving out negative karma for the hell of it just to get people banned.

I don't understand. All of the reviews are from years ago. Right now, I'm using Emerald, and it's been awesome, so far! In fact, I'm having so much fun meeting new friends (especially during COVID). It doesn't have those pesky bots and neverending recaptcha. There will always be people using the platform for the wrong reasons but I've never had any issues when reporting someone. The support is pretty responsive, and the mods are very helpful. I am so glad they have human mods, too! Nothing beats the human touch in this AI-driven world. Overall, I'm honestly having fun!

I got banned from emerald for 12 mouths this morning and idk why i just got up and the when to go on emerald then it said banned for 12 mouths i was crying because it was heartbearting that had happen to me

It's great. Ranking system and without bots? What else should I ask? It sure has some things that need developing like the permanent mute button, but if you compare it with Omegle, you will see clearly the differences.

I love how the people that run this site are so obsessed with being better than Omegle that they don't spend time moderating and watching their site that's full of disgusting sexual predators and child molesters. G wejustfit.com etc) the bottom line here y'all is that you gotta be patient and smart enough to put the effort in if you want to arrange real dates using internet dating. Although I bought a premium membership for my account, I could not use it at all. I have given information about this many times, but no emerald official has contacted me.

I been using the site for about 4 days until I got banned from it. The reason? If u create an account the horny males and fake bots will give you a bad karma. Stay away from it there's actually kids aged 11 on there and weird enough emerald not doing anything about it

If you use Emerald chat, you'll find out. It's a fun website for the first few minutes until you piss off some girl with *******+ karma points in group chat, then you get a 24-hour ban. The text chat is $#*!ing chaos, you'll either match with some fag named George, or your grandpa, your horny grandpa (You'll match with him 90% of the time.). Video chat? Big black $#*! everywhere. If you use Emerald, you'll kill yourself.

Now batter services, Now Google has stopped message since updating everything is fine now.Use voice commands while navigating even when your device has no connection. Try saying "cancel my navigation" "what's my ETA?" or "what's my next turn?"
Weak connection? If your search fails, the Google app will deliver you results once you regain connection.

In early 2022(after most of these negative reviews were written) the site was sold by the original creator/owner 'Callan' and a new team of admins and devs have taken over the site for the past year and a bit.

In this time the site has undergone many feature additions and overall bug fixes and quality of life improvements for the site. A big improvement was to the karma system that was regularly exploited by disgruntled users who intended in sexuaI convo but didn't recieve, and also people who had experience in coding that created scripts that mass flooded peoples karma count, instantly banning them.

The exploits got fixed but also the ability to be banned for long periods of time through karma, is a removed feature all together and isn't something that needs to be worried about anymore, karma is now just an indicator how the general community views the behavior of a user. Instead of karma, the site now has moderators again to control bans and it helps with alot of issues the site faced like inappropriate profile picture uploads (the AI photo recognition was a joke and never worked) but now they are manually approved by mods to control the abuse.

The bottom line is that Callan was a terrible site owner and definitely had a lack of knowledge in what was required to be a fair site that doesn't $#*! people over and there money. These new admins and devs deserve a chance and if you read this, I urge you to give emerald a try and not let these past negative reviews influence your decision. I really do think emerald is in a place to overtake omegle if it just had more public recognition.

Finally a service without bots and trolls, a service that is Moderated and always updated for what the users want. Not what the owner wants.
