The plan was simple, I have my Nintendo switch account of Fortnite with all my skins and Vbucks, and I just made a PS4 account so I can play with keyboard and mouse. All I wanted was to have my account on the ps4 and the switch. So I went to that link account stuff and oh? I already have a different psn on it. Oh no big deal I'll just unlink it and then link my new one. But apparently you can't do that?!? What's the point of unlinking to begin with?! If you unlink it wipes all your save data so you might as well just make a new account!? And I already had my switch account on this epic account so if I linked it I'd have to start from scratch :/ the spider web of emails and accounts have gotten so jumbled that it hurts my head. Epic fix you god damn account system.
My daughters account was hacked and all her progress and V Bucks was stolen and her account effectively reverted back to a new account. The hacker then taunted her through online chat and Epic Games won't restore her account. Everything has been substantiated including screenshots of the messages sent to my daughter from the hacker, our account activity purchasing V Bucks over the years and many other things they asked us to provide.
Epic are saying that they wont restore her account, even after providing every bit of proof they have asked us to provide and it is very clear what has happened.
What's worse is that my daughter suffers from mental health issues and Fortnite is an outlet she has that helps her with her clinically diagnosed depression and this issue that Epic refuse to help us with is increasing her anxiety levels, it's absolutely disgusting how Epic Games are treating us as if we have done something wrong.
Attached is just one photo from the chat where the hacker taunts my daughter bragging that they hacked her account
I put in my birthday July 2 2011 and it's asking for my mom's security number and stuff and if she don't accept the request imma lose my Fortnite account in 29 days so epic please don't do that again kids are losing there accounts and I like Fortnite so please not do it again.
Epic games doesn't even deserve the word "epic" in there name. It should be $#*! Games. Rocket league has reached a point of near unplayability, because of this parasitic company. They came in as a company like happy campers, but it turns out they are the bear in the woods to ruin all the fun in the gaming community. The idea of a battle pass has destroyed many fan favorite games such as call of duty, rocket league, and more. It's a truly toxic concept. Going back to the rocket league destruction caused by $#*! Games. Servers before epic made their unwanted appearance in rocket league were as close to perfect as possible. I was able to join into games seamlessly with my friends. Unfortunately now you have to go through a connection gauntlet to even get in the pre-game lobby. I highly recommend not to have any idea of purchasing any games developed by $#*! Games or buy any in-game purchases available in their games. Epic games is truly catastrophic to say the least. I'm for sure not the only one that has this opinion. I, along with many others would not mind if this company would go out of business. Honestly it would be more help than harm to the gaming community. One last note. Epic games, you are the worst gaming company to ever be established and you will not see me, or my family for all coming generations purchase a game made by you. Thank you for nothing. Idiots.
I was banned yesterday at fortnite for no reason and they didnt even bother to care i had proof of of not cheating but still they are being some jerks.
Short summon:very bad
GAME: Fortnite
PROBLEM: account is not connected to epic games but it "appears" connected
AS A RESULT: did not get the Boogie Down - can not receive/send gifts - can not enter tournaments
SUPPORT HELP: 5 mails, from 4 different employees, repeating the same answer again and again, heating brick wall suggestions
BLAMING EPIC GAMES FOR: Not being clear with the procedure I had to follow, when I first connected to Fortnite
Not keeping things simple, for those who do not have hack abilities
Not solving the problem, but keeps sending me the same e-mail over and over again.
ROCK STAR Games with a
G. T. A problem that occurred, solved it IMMEDIATELY with their own initiative from their central units!
It happens all the time that I buy something and it doesn't show up in the library. I currently haven't played Dead Island 2 a week after release because the key redeemed but the game is nowhere to be found. Technical support is clueless and they throw instructions on how to fix it left and right, but nothing happens and the game is still nowhere. Tim Sweeney talks a lot about how he wants to save the game market, but all he does is convince me that I won't buy anything but V-Buxes at the Epic Games Luncher. I'd rather wait until the $#*!ing exclusivity ends and buy it on Steam. Even though I have the boxed version on PC, I will insist on a refund and I absolutely do not care what their objections are. Open and free market, that's for sure Tim Sweeney. All you are doing is dividing the community and making things much worse. I was willing to ignore the problems Epic Games Luncher had in the beginning, but damn it's been five years since you launched this piece of crap service and it looks like it was designed by a 5 year old programmed by a newborn. Your company makes me sick.
So I messed up with my email and Put an N at the end of it, now I can't verify it nor can I play games that I have to attach another account to, I am EXTREMELY displeased at this, I'm ono month 4 and NOTHING.
5/5 due to the free games, fairly easy to use interface, but most importantly, I think it's great we have a somewhat major compititor to STEAM. STEAM might still be my main use, but that doesn't take anything away from Epic.
Bought 3 v bucks gift cards for my son and he can't even use them. You can't even get logged in to his account. It says his account is already being used.
Answer: EPIC Games is a scammers by selling gift cards that are empty with not value. And refusing to credit for what they got paid for.
