Horrific policy. My license from Canada updates every 5 yrs as do most across the globe. This is so for update of address and photo. According to Europcar policy if your license has a issue date of less than 1 year you can't rent a car. In my case, mine had renewed in Jan so although I have been driving for 40 years, I was given a hard time, an unbending front desk person and a delay in starting my holiday. Terrible policy. I will not rent from there again
Staff was unfamiliar with the car and could not help with various questions (how to remove the key, how to operate the navigation system). Staff was very friendly, car runs fine.

As a company in all our rentals a security deposit will be blocked on the credit card plus the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit that will be blocked on the credit card will be released by the cardholder's bank, upon notification after the vehicle returns. The estimated time of released is always depends of bank the customer use.

5 minutes before handing over the car, I arrived at a gas station next to your company's premises where I instructed the gas station attendant to fill the car with gas. In total, the car's tank was filled with 8,970 liters and then when I started the car's engine I found that the gas gauge did not show full. I thought it was a problem with the indicator and, with the receipt, I went to the company's facilities, which was 200 meters away. There the employee thought that I didn't fill with gas the car, while I showed him the receipt and of course, it was self-evident from the kilometers I traveled and the liters I filled the tank with (168 km). The employee insisted that I did not fill the car with gas and then I insisted that we have to go to the gas station where I filled the car with gas so that he could ask the gas station employee himself that I had instructed him to fill the car, which he did. The employee of your company got into the car and we went to another gas station against my will and he asked the employee who knew, to put gas in the car. As soon as he started putting in gas, the cannula automatically stopped because the car was full of gas and the pump read 0.5 liters!
In general, this tactic of your company is unacceptable.
When we pick up the car where it is delivered to us "full" we should also go to the next gas station and if the car takes gas we should return and insult the employees of your company, as your employee insulted myself, because they gave us "full" gas while this is not the case.

My company ordered the car. I was just the user. I showed th EUROPE CAR Fleet card. It shows at least that the company pays. It was not avceptey st the desk. I had to give my Mastercard as garant y. Now I got the contract by mail. I have to pay personally. And the Name of my company is not anymore at the contract. It works in Estonia, Netherland and so on. But not in greece. I thought it was EUROPE CAR. WHAT IS THE SENCE OF A FLEET CARD IF I CANT USE IT. Why they made it so difficult? I need th company name at the contract.
