Horrific policy. My license from Canada updates every 5 yrs as do most across the globe. This is so for update of address and photo. According to Europcar policy if your license has a issue date of less than 1 year you can't rent a car. In my case, mine had renewed in Jan so although I have been driving for 40 years, I was given a hard time, an unbending front desk person and a delay in starting my holiday. Terrible policy. I will not rent from there again
Car was late by about 45 min, on return I was charged a deep cleaning fee for minor cleaning. In my opinion a ripoff. In the end I payed 450€ for a 8 day rental of a cheap Kia Picanto…

Lucky to find an excellent deal
Sorry not to have on site desk and car parking space across the building of HERAKLEION airport to pick up the car within walking distance like other big companies but the bus service worked well and we were lucky mot to have a flight in a rush hour
Smily young and helpfull stuff but the lack of experience was obvious and were somehow exaggerated on the last check of check out of the car. In total very hood though

Upon arrival I notified the staff that I needed the car for only 6 days, not the 7 I had initially booked, they refused to reduce the charges for the 1 day

The people were very friendly and helpful. They tooked the time we needed, explained everything very carefully and helped quickly out as the pin for the creditcard did not worked.

It was a little long process to check the car out but understandable because they were busy. Only bad thing was lack of bigger cars or vans.

Overall great service, bur I did not like having to check and sign a Letter-sized PDF contract on my smartphone, they could have sold me a washing machine without me noticing it

By accident, actually, I was looking for a car rental situated at the airport terminal, not one with shuttle transfer. But Europcar had good recommendations, good value for money - and the shuttle transfer took only 5 minutes
