Horrific policy. My license from Canada updates every 5 yrs as do most across the globe. This is so for update of address and photo. According to Europcar policy if your license has a issue date of less than 1 year you can't rent a car. In my case, mine had renewed in Jan so although I have been driving for 40 years, I was given a hard time, an unbending front desk person and a delay in starting my holiday. Terrible policy. I will not rent from there again

M. alle ore 9:00 come da prenotazione n° ******* mi sono recato presso l'Europcar di Santorini per il ritiro dell'auto, il commesso al momento della consegna mi dice che l'auto non può consegnarmela perché sono sprovvisto di carta di credito, cerco di spiegargli che al momento della prenotazione non ho avuto nessuna difficoltà e lui infastidito conclude il discorso invitandomi a cercarmi un'altra agenzia; non potevo perdere altro tempo pertanto cerco di fargli capire che non ci sarebbero stati problemi con la carta (già utilizzata altre volte per il noleggio). Convintosi, mi ha detto che ci sarebbe stata una soluzione, pagare un ulteriore deposito di € 290,00 che mi sarebbe stato restituito al termine del noleggio. Perché nella ricevuta non sono presenti le € 33,03 della polizza n. *******/2 per la protezione assicurativa completa che ho pagato al momento della prenotazione? Le € 290,00 quando mi verranno restituite? Attendo Vs riscontro.

The deposit that will be blocked on the credit card will be released by the cardholder's bank, upon notification after the vehicle returns. The estimated time of released is always depends of bank the customer use.

Votre cas a fait l'objet d'une enquête et nous pouvons vous assurer que toutes les procédures ont été suivies avec cohérence et responsabilité. Vous avez réservé à 16h30 mais êtes arrivé à 20h10, nos collègues n'ont donc pas pu vous contacter pour vérifier votre $#*! de prise en charge. Ni votre numéro de téléphone ni votre numéro de vol n'ont été inclus dans votre réservation, nos collègues n'ont donc pas pu vous contacter concernant le $#*! de prise en charge. Nous avons pu vous aider à trouver une voiture, mais chaque réservation est pour une heure et une date spécifiques.
Nous sommes impatients de vous servir à nouveau bientôt.

Bon service. Mais dommage que l 'on ne puisse pas laisser la clé et la voiture en dehors des heures d'ouverture.
Pour rendre la voiture à 6:30 puisque nous prenions le bateau à 7:00 du matin, il fallait payer 37 euros supplémentaires.

Suite à un problème nous sommes arrivés en $#*! pour récupérer notre voiture et ce $#*! a été accentué par l'impossibilité de trouver le comptoir Europcar, le site internet nous localisant le comptoir sur le tarmak de l'aéroport!? A l'aéroport personne au courant d'où pouvait se trouver le comptoir…J'ai appelé la plateforme Europcar qui malgré notre numéro de réservation ne savait pas à quel aéroport on se trouvait… Enfin, on vient nous chercher, le bureau était en fait un minibus sur le parking! Venant juste de dépasser les 2h de $#*! (alors que nous avions confirmé 1h avant…) notre réservation était annulée et pas de voiture pour nous! Nous avons dû attendre ensuite 45mn pour avoir une autre voiture… Donc un peu compliqué, cela aurait été plus simple si nous avions eu les infos avant!
