Horrific policy. My license from Canada updates every 5 yrs as do most across the globe. This is so for update of address and photo. According to Europcar policy if your license has a issue date of less than 1 year you can't rent a car. In my case, mine had renewed in Jan so although I have been driving for 40 years, I was given a hard time, an unbending front desk person and a delay in starting my holiday. Terrible policy. I will not rent from there again
Car was late by about 45 min, on return I was charged a deep cleaning fee for minor cleaning. In my opinion a ripoff. In the end I payed 450€ for a 8 day rental of a cheap Kia Picanto…

Sorry not to have on site desk and car parking space across the building of HERAKLEION airport to pick up the car within walking distance like other big companies but the bus service worked well and we were lucky mot to have a flight in a rush hour

Upon arrival I notified the staff that I needed the car for only 6 days, not the 7 I had initially booked, they refused to reduce the charges for the 1 day

By accident, actually, I was looking for a car rental situated at the airport terminal, not one with shuttle transfer. But Europcar had good recommendations, good value for money - and the shuttle transfer took only 5 minutes
