Europcar Customer Service in Greece
First of all, i was waiting in the airport for 15 minutes an other (old) couple with no reason, as the company of Europcar was very close (1-2 km away) from the airport. I told them to go there to rent the car, not to wait the other driver. Finally we went there alone as the other driver delayed a lot. Secondly, the deal was that the car is full of petrol and i would return it full of petrol. Ι trusted them and because the company could not print the contrary (white pages on the printer) i sign electronically without read it. They never take a photo of fuel. So, my total distance for a day was 160km. And because i have been for a wedding in Crete, my speed in the return was under 100km all the way. Last stop to full the deposit, I paid 42 euro, 17,5lt total X 2,41euro/lt. Then i realised, that i received the car not full! I have not read the contract (write that is full), i cannot prove that is was not full but they also cannot prove that it was full because they don' t have a photo. So i consider that i have not the best experience with the specific europcar company (KINSEN HELLAS A. E) in Heraklion and i suggest to all to be carefull! And at last i am Greek and i have travelled at least to 7 countries in Europe and Turkey.

No service at the airport but no information about that. Had to call information about a shuttle service, look for a person with Europcar sign or the shuttle bus arriving. If my colleague would not have found the driver and the bus we would still be waiting there.

When booking the car rental it was stated that this was "on airport". On arrival I had to take a transfer bus to pickup my car which is not what I expected for an "on airport" service. When we eventually arrived at the office there was an excessive wait (almost 30 minutes) before we were able to get into the car and start our holiday.

Europcar team has been really helpful both over phone as on site once arrived. Just one small detail, it can be hard to find the minibus that takes you to the Europcar center near airport (wait to the bus parking lot on your right when exiting the airport). If possible a sign or indications at the airport (at the passengers exit) would be great. Apart from that all is currently ok.
