Reschedule

This company's policies are horrible. I will never purchase an event ticket again and will detour as many of my friends I can to do the same.My family had an unexpected emergency, so I contacted Evenbrite of the situation and was rudely denied to reschedule. Again did not want a refund just to reschedule..

I purchased tickets for BBQ Beers and Brews from Eventbrite which was sold as a charity event for Tsidqah Charities and CZC Entertainment. I have made attempts to contact the event coordinator and the charities, to no avail. This is no service rep for Eventbrite, just a number for sales who will not accept calls for anything but sales. The event refund form will not submit. When you click the submit it goes right back to the same screen, without submitting, on every device I use. The company does not respond to emails. Obviously, this company is a total scam and very little recourse to get my $266.85 back.

Not a good option

To Event Organizers: While I support paying performing artists for their craft, and hope that a viable alternative to Ticketmaster comes quickly, please do not use Eventbrite. It is not a good customer experience, and given that the customers are offering the money in this process, do your research and go in a different direction.

UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS
November 29, 2022

On a recent credit card statement; I found (EB Foodtasting) linked to Eventbrite posted on my statement eleven times and $94.99 each. I have never even heard of this company and have never made any transactions with it. Needless to say, I had to have a new credit card to replace it, and I still see this posted several times. Through researching the web; I found out about a scam involving Eventbrite.
I want every one of these charges removed. This is unacceptable.

Crap

Me and many other people were scammed by events posted on evenbrite... NOT TRUST WORTHY! The bus to pick everyone up never showed! When we contacted the organizers to complain they never answered... so they made 45 bucks per every person that participated and then event sold out... so basically they made a bunch of money and a ton of students got scammed

One of the worst organization with fake address in US. They are operating from India with bunch of scams in a tiny office. They demand money from the organizers for promoting the events and in return they cheat them without providing the money from selling the tickets on eventbrite website.

Completely Stupid

Nobody answered my emails or phone calls. Nothing., we needed names of the event to follow CDC recommendations eventbrite F*cked up everything... couldn't get the names or anything and the analytics were just a bold face lie... None of their reports were true. I do analytics myself for a living so that's how I KNOW their numbers were not accurate.

No refund

I purchased tickets through Eventbrite on a Friday and did not realize I had a scheduling conflict and needed to cancel.I requested a refund within 12 hours for the event which was not scheduled for a week later.The venue did refund my purchase partially but Eventbright would not refund the $9.15 surcharge for each ticket purchased.So rather than possibly getting my repeat business for future events they elected not to refund the $18.30 surcharge.The venue was verry cooperative but not Eventbright.Will never use them again.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Do Not do business with this company, there is No way to resolve issues with an entity that refuses to be part of a Customer Solution, they see a bad review call leave a message no # for call back, suggest u contact event organizer whom also ignores your request for contact or refund, return to eventbrite still Nothing.
This company should be investigated TIL they are as screwed as their customers...

I paid to go to an EventBrite event recently. I had two paid VIP's. I am lucky I got my video footage for my blog before the actual paid VIP. My VIP was scanned prior to event. When the VIP started in the same room as Non VIP around midnight, the security rejected me and my friend from the actual VIP yet let other sgo around me to VIP. I did not get my paid time with the celebrity I paid to get pics with. There was no specifics on what is included in the VIP except 1 free complimentary drink per ticket holder. I never saw nor received the complimentary drinks. The whole event was very disorganized. An email to customer service got me nowhere. I am still trying to get my money back. Beware of these scammers hiding out online.

Don't ever use them!

I have had several issues with them but this latest issue takes the cake. I advised them I was unable to attend an event and they informed me if they were to sell the tickets they would send me payment... well they sold the tickets but somehow still didn't manage to get a refund. I thought the time they had the wrong address on the tickets and wouldn't give me a refund was bad but this is a new low even for them... I advised my followers to never use there service EVER!

There have been many events in my area that I have wanted, or have gone to in the past but the extra "convenience fees" eventbrite adds on are insane and are just gouging. I took my grandchildren to see
A Christmas special, and not only did I get charged an extra $7.50 per ticket for each of us, there was a $7.50 per ticket charge for each of the two special packets I bought for the grandkids. That was an additional $45 to the cost of the event for 4 of us to attend. That is highway robbery and price gouging. They should be ashamed of themselves. A convenience fee for the whole order would have been sufficient and they would have made money on that.

I purchased two tickets for new year and calceled on time but i could get it back for 4 months now. No answer, no contact, no responsiblity for my money. I paid 55 Euros. Another time I purchased a 100 Euro ticket for corona my friend couldn't attend and again they didn't refund it. If you buy a ticket from here, remember they will never refund it!.

Steer clear of Eventbrite! I have never signed up to recieve their emails but they "captured" my email address when I, naively, signed up to join the NYC Women's March. Now despite my repeated attempts to have them cease sending me their promotional emails, I'm unable to get them to stop. Every attempt to unsubscribe online on their website gets you to a page where it immediatedly says you are "timed out". So you are not able to proceed to unsubscribe from their emails.
A scam outfit which will capture and retain your email address against your wishes.

Do not buy from Eventbrite you will lose your money. Dishonest and not contactable. Bought tickets to a concert which was cancelled due to covid. Only contact was by email refusing to refund my money.

Eventbrite is selling tickets to events without permission or notifying the event owners. They collect the money, then are not available to remedy the situation. They say they have support, but they are truly not accessible.

Didn't have tickets

I bought 2 tickets to my daughters fashion show and they were not in the app. I had to refer to my PayPal charge, fortunately the place had my name on a list because I had no tickets to show! You need to do better Eventbrite!

I purchased tickets to a show and never received my tickets by email. I had issues with my primary email address. Contacted Eventbrite by email requested tickets be sent to my secondary email address. They asked me to verify my purchase information twice by email and never sent me my tickets. They list a 1-800 number for customer service but when you call you get a voice mail message for what every issues you are having and the call terminates. They are set up so you can never talk to a person. The website and customer service is horrible. Stay away form the website.

BUYER BEWARE

Eventbrite is a 3rd party vendor. They DO NOT hold their vendors they represent accountable at all. Valentines day event I bought got rescheduled. Who the hell wants an event on a special occasion rescheduled for march or another time? Refuses to give refund. They suck to the max, also//Valentines Wine & Food Tasting LOFTY SPACES/ sucks to the max the damn title has valentines in it, i will get my money back from my back, filing false advertisement and fraud charges as the services are not delivered. Screw you both

They get a "1" because their fees are outrageously high. I've gotten tickets in Boston, New York City for far more readinaorates.
