I recently shopped at evo.com and had a great experience overall. They offer a fantastic selection of outdoor gear and apparel, and I found exactly what I needed for my upcoming ski trip. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I had a bit of trouble with customer service response time. But overall, I'm quite satisfied and will definitely shop here again!
Ordered from their online store during a big sale. Ended up returning several items from a big order. All returned in the same package together and labeled accordingly with extra labels placed on the bags they came in etc. I went above and beyond to make the return process as seamless as possible. When the received my package they said several items were missing. Then they said one item was missing. They refunded me for everything but this one missing item. It's super shady that at first they claimed that several items were missing, then apparently found them, but not all of them, and then didn't refund me or follow up with me when I emailed them trying to figure out what was going on.

Purchased a new Santa Cruz mtn bike earlier this summer. Took it in for 90 day (free) tune up after Christmas. Obviously late. No worries. Dani (sp?) in the shop (Salt Lake) was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service.
Evo cancelled our account with no notice and they had almost no notes in their system on what the issue was and no explanation about why we were not notified in advance. When I finally got a hold of them they were not helpful at all and just did not care about what happened. They just kept saying they cant help me because my account is cancelled due to some ACH issue between banks. Our first notice this was happening, after over a decade of service, was our customers not being able to book online and it continued to not work for 36 hours while I got set up with another company.
I would avoid Evo. This was just the most bizarre experience ever. It works fine until you actually need some help with something and then they basically just tell you sorry about your luck.
Processed application for name change. Representative told it will be done in 2 weeks. Tried opening my system after a month. Found nothing has been done. Never go with them. Being a new business man, worst experience ever.
I had issues with ski boots. Evo accepted them back with full refund. I did have to contact several people because at first I was told they could not be returned. So, if you get someone that says no, hang up and call again. Evo has the best prices and now I feel better about being able to return items.
My husband and I went to watch creed 3. We never received the food we ordered, only a bill. An hour into the movie we pressed our service button, but no one ever came back. Instead of trying to fix the problem they just charged about card. I'm so disappointed. It was our first time here we had really high hopes
I think evo.com is probably the best online place to buy skis along with Backcountry.com. The people that answer the phones know what they are talking about and are interested in making sure you buy the right product. The folks in their physical store in Seattle are super friendly and helpful. All the people that I've been in contact at Evo have a "no-worries" attitude. I like that especially for buying stuff that should be all fun.
For price-shoppers, the Evo Outlet which is also at www.evo.com has some fantastic pre and early season deals.
I was a little worried about ordering after reading the reviews, but thought I would take a gamble.
I ordered a jacket for my daughter online, about a half hour later I received an email saying my order had been shipped and would arrive by 12/22/17. Two day shipping free!
The jacket arrived as promised, we saved $80 on the deal.

Everything came in perfect from Evo! I was super pleased with how quick everything shipped. I got a Nidecker board and bindings, super sick setup that I cannot wait to ride! Unfortunately, one of my bindings was slightly defective and I had the easiest time working with customer service on getting a replacement sent back. Also the turnover has been so fast, I sent them out on a Friday and they are getting here on Wednesday! Thank you Evo!
Tip for consumers:
Check your binding fit thoroughly! Evo provides size charts but its also good to go to the manufacturer's website to verify you are getting the right size bindings for your boot size. I wear a 7.5 womens boot and made the mistake of ordering a size small. Since there was a defect with the binding it worked out that I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone, but don't make the same mistake I did and check what size bindings fit your boot size!

Their price match policy is legit and straightforward. I found a coat I wanted on REI.com that was already on sale and even less expensive with a discount code. They matched the discount code price and gave me an additional 5% off with free shipping.
The customer service reps are quirky and courteous. Needless to say - I'll definitely be back.
Evo has great products and great prices! my big issue is I purchased an item online and it took over day and a half for my order to be processed. Companies such as Tactics.com are on it quick!! Way quicker!!!!
One of the best places for me to get equipment. Their bundles can from time to time be perfectly balanced (if you know what you`re buying) and cheaper compared to buying same items separately. + discounts and safe shipping(however can be slow sometimes). I recommend!
I've purchased equipment from evo twice. The first time was perfect (easy to use site, prompt confirmation and shipping, and all products delivered as described). Unfortunately the most recent time (early December 2019) has been concerning. I am still having technical difficulties with the site (one of my orders has dropped into a black hole and does not exist on "my account", but they tell me it's showing on their end), wait times for customer service have been horrendous (approximately 1hr on each occasion), and I haven't received confirmation of shipping a week after my order was placed. If I didn't have a ski trip planned for New Years I'm sure this would be less stressful, but it is clear that evo was not prepared for Christmas volumes this year.
If you're an avid cyclist looking for top-of-the-line gear, you can definitely find everything you need on Evo. I've recently purchased my Patagonia Dirt Roamer Storm Pants and Jacket and this is the best bicycle gear I've ever had. The attention to detail in both pieces is impressive. The pants have reinforced areas in high-wear zones, while the jacket has a variety of pockets for storing essentials like energy gels and keys. They are made from durable, waterproof materials that have held up well in even the toughest conditions. I also want to appreciate the fast delivery and will definitely order again!

I have been an Evo customer for years now, and they really just do an incredible job. I mean I have purchased a ton of stuff from them if there is ever an issue or even just a question I have, they are on the spot with their customer service. Every small issue I have ever had (very rare) was fixed super quick and they often go above and beyond to assure customers are happy. They often have great sales on plenty of items on their really well laid out website. Not to mention the number of excellent articles about gear of all types along with sizing charts and overall just an amazing one-stop-shop for everything outdoors. I absolutely love Evo and the Evo team! There is really no way to explain how truly excellent these guys are, you just got to see it for yourself. Even the little details are to a whole nother level above everyone else. I really can't share enough praise for this company.

I would recommend buying gear for the upcoming winter during the months of August and early September, lots of killer deals on last season's stuff and labor day deals. I was able to save about $500 on equipping two people in my family with skis and bindings. Also, if you have any questions at all, make sure to use their in-browser contact, they have real people ready to help during business hours and are super helpful. I can's say enough great things about these guys!

I have purchased all of my ski gear from Evo. Including Oakley Airbrake XL's, my K2 Marksman skis, Dalbello Pantera 100's, pants (can't remember which ones exactly), bindings, etc. All of which have held up extremely well for multiple seasons of use and sometimes abuse.
I called up after I found a coupon code. No questions asked they applied the code to the existing order I'd placed a few hours earlier (an already crazy sweet deal) and gave me another chance for an instore (Portland - where I'm at) coupon.
I got an awesome dress with fast shipping from this website. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing but my shipment was delayed because they wanted me to call and confirm that I had ordered the dress with my credit card. I think it's because I wanted the dress delivered to an address other than my billing address. Never had to do that before and not quite sure how I feel about that!
I wanted to buy skis and this place had the best prices. I bought a pair of standard used skis and they were perfect. They look amazing and we're shipping really fast, 5 days early. I ordered a snowboarding jacket over the weekend at evo.com and received it on the following Tuesday (delivery was free!). No problem with the jacket - it was exactly as advertised.
I'm so jazzed about them because on Tuesday evening after getting the jacket I noticed it went on sale and was significantly cheaper. At first I was agitated about it, but I went ahead and emailed them and within minutes I got an email back saying they refunded the difference. I was very impressed with their prompt/hassle free response. Looking forward to doing more business with them.
Honestly one of the best customer service experiences with an online store I have ever had. I ordered a snowboard, bindings, and boots from them. After initial use I found the rear binding mounting hardware kept coming loose (a fault of the manufacturer, not of evo) and when I called evo they immediately, no questions asked, told me they would contact the manufacturer and would then let me know when the new hardware would be shipping to me.
I also had an issue with a missing part on the boot (again a manufacturer error). Evo not only contacted the maker to get me the part (of which I received 3 more than I needed) but also agreed to a discount for the delay in my ability to use the product.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and eager to work for you. Bravo.
The website has a great selection and competitive pricing and availability for a few ski models I couldn't find elsewhere. I had to cancel one of the items after I had placed an order, called customer service and after a short hold girl assisted me in no time at all and cancelled no problem since the order hasn't shipped yet. Other companies would give such a hard time! Will deff buy from eco again
I ordered a pair of snowboarding boots, I put the wrong zip code... They were returned, I called the customer service line at UPS, completely useless. But, my first call to Evo was great, she was nice and tried everything to intercept the return and correct the address. That did not work, the day I saw that the boots reached their warehouse, I called spoke with a young man, told him my mistake and it took him 5mins to get the address corrected and the warehouse to send them right back out! We got them within a few days! I will definitely buy more from them, because of those two customer service reps who were not even upset that this was completely my error, and took care of it.
