I recently shopped at evo.com and had a great experience overall. They offer a fantastic selection of outdoor gear and apparel, and I found exactly what I needed for my upcoming ski trip. The website is easy to navigate, and the product descriptions were spot-on. My order arrived on time and everything was in perfect condition. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I had a bit of trouble with customer service response time. But overall, I'm quite satisfied and will definitely shop here again!
Ordered from their online store during a big sale. Ended up returning several items from a big order. All returned in the same package together and labeled accordingly with extra labels placed on the bags they came in etc. I went above and beyond to make the return process as seamless as possible. When the received my package they said several items were missing. Then they said one item was missing. They refunded me for everything but this one missing item. It's super shady that at first they claimed that several items were missing, then apparently found them, but not all of them, and then didn't refund me or follow up with me when I emailed them trying to figure out what was going on.
Great goggles so far. Took them heli-boarding over the weekend and had the Sonar Red lens in on the sunny/partly cloudy day and switched over to the clear red lens for the snow storm we encountered in-bounds the next day. They were almost always fog free, and if some fog did start to form it vanished almost immediately. However, I'm curious to see how they perform while huffing and puffing on the skin track. So far I haven't been able to find many goggles that will keep from fogging while I'm out touring, so I usually wear sunglasses, but that's not always an option when it's snowy and windy.
I had chat help from Todd which was really beneficial for getting my questions answered! I ordered a pair a few weeks ago that ended up being too wide and the ease of return was great. I'm looking forward to getting my new boots tomorrow and testing them out! You guys are great, both in the Portland store and online!
Quite satisfied. Had trouble finding the right wet suit in a size that fits me. But I was able to find 2 different options after spending some time looking. (tall and thin so finding the right size is normally difficult).
Super good but there should be a separation between mittens and gloves with the amount of products you have it is easy to get lost.
And when I received my order the mittens where different. When I contacted EVO they said that the photo on the site was wrong. Double check your stuff.
Awesome site ordered on a sunday said it would get there in 2 Tuesdays but it came 4 days later on Thursday and I got an email saying it got delivered so I was able to go put it inside at lunch. Good prices too no shipping or tax!
Initial comments:
If there was some sort of comments section or "special requests" that would be excellent, as I ordered my skis/bindings shipped to your Seattle location, and it would be nice to ask to have them mounted (and I could pay for the mounting at pickup). But I guess you need a ski boot, or the sole length, etc, so it's easier to have me come in.
All in all, a great shopping experience!

I ended up contact customer support and having the bindings removed, and my order shipped to me directly. Customer service was great, and they had no problems doing this for me. I still haven't decided which bindings to buy but I'll be back eventually!
Good brands. Pretty good prices. Help full people at the portland store. My only complaint would be that I receive emails everyday now and that is frustrating. If I want a item I will shop with this company again. But trying to force it on someone is not right. For that reason I have to unsubscribe.
Besides a penchant for answering "i don't know" rather than "i am not sure but i will find out", the level of information and first hand experiences of the staff with products is second to none. Very nice indeed. And, that you commissioned Lib to make just the ski i was looking forward is just icing on the cake. Well done Evo, well done. Now i just can't wait to receive and use the damned things!

It would be much easier and faster to navigate the website if store and outlet sections were combined.
And I don't actually understand the "follow up" option below this form. It asks "Should we follow up to make sure you're satisfied with your order?". My answer to that would be "no, thanks" but when I choose "no", it warns me that I won't receive order confirmation, etc. This is confusing :)
If it actually ships, then I'm hooked. 4 years ago I placed an order that was supposedly in stock only to get an email stating it was actually sold out, stating, "would you like to purchase one of our other skis?"
Well, I got my skis this time, so I'm hooked. I'm glad you had some great prices which kept me having to use E-Bay. Did your website cost more than $***M to function so well?
Ben from customer service and Justin from the Portland store made shopping at Evo beyond incredible. Super helpful, positive vibes, helped me out with a product that no longer stocked online. I cancelled a jacket order with a competitor just so I could buy from Evo based 100% on those two guys
I love shopping on Evo! The site is very well organized and the various filters make it extraordinarily easy to find exactly what I'm looking for. The reviews from members are also extraordinarily helpful!
EVO provided far more info (compared to other sites) on selecting the proper piece of equipment. I was confident that the ski boots i ordered would suit my needs. They fit great, and the price was better than average. The follow up emails on proper boot fitting etc. were a nice courtesy. Now its time to hit the slopes!
I must admit I haven't used them yet. But, wearing them around the house has been good. They feel snug without any pinch. I did think they would have a hike/ski lever on the back but don't. Will find out soon if flex on hill is enough.

Wish I could get frequent flyer points, by going through a portal. And goggles arrived with small scratch in center of one lens, so I had to return. Box was crushed in the corner as well, although luckily, the interior box was not damaged.
Your staff is so helpful both in store and online. Special props to Greg Louie in store boot fitting master. Props to on line customer service guy Julian. Made it all happen! You have a real gem of a customer experience. I will definitely be back for most all my sporting needs.
I felt a bit overwhelmed at first, but after taking my time looking around I managed to do a couple of comparisons and found the one I think will work best for me.
Update: received my Burton boots and they feel great! They're wicked light on the feet!
Generally a super-positive experience - user-friendly website, swift shipping and delivery, good range of products, etc.
Only negative, and the reason some items are four stars rather than five, would be the PayPal payment processing service - what a pain! If evo could get a proper credit card processing service rather than those clowns at PayPal, this would be a five-star experience through-and-through. As it is, if I can find the same item at the same price at another good-quality vendor, say backcountry.com, I would be tempted to shop there just because they don't use PayPal.
Bought a "jacket" as a Christmas gift for my grandson who asked for that exact item. I ordered it kind of late and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived so quickly. I didn't have to put a note in a card saying he would get the jacket after Christmas. The price was very good -- as good or better than others from other reputable places. I have ordered some other gifts for my motorcycle and off road bicycle riding family members in years past and was very happy then too. Will order from evo again.
Browsing is a cinch. If you have an idea of what you're looking for make use of the filters. It seems like they always have promo codes active, so browse around for them online and you'll get a sweeter deal. Although, i think that the best deals are the items in their outlet, so if you dont mind settling for last year's products then EVO is probably the best place you could go.
Best price by far which is appreciated. I got the skis in about a week which is amazing for free shipping. Only annoying thing is that they stopped my order because my billing and shipping addresses were different. Which made me call a representative and sit on hold for a while. I guess I order stuff online often and have never had this problem before. On the other hand, it seems like a nice security feature so i don't know how much i should complain.
I support local Seattle businesses (even though I bought this online). I've never had anything less than an excellent experience dealing with your company, either shopping online or speaking with your customer service representatives. Keep up the good work!
Great website... fantastic pricing and specials / sales... BUT, I did order this item (ski poles) on 12/23 with a delivery expectation of the following Wednesday... and the poles did not arrive until after we returned from our New Years Ski Vacation... I had to buy poles for my daughter on the mountain, so now she owns two sets... I will not return yours... We will just keep the extra pair.
