I recently shopped at evo.com and had a great experience overall. They offer a fantastic selection of outdoor gear and apparel, and I found exactly what I needed for my upcoming ski trip. The website is easy to navigate, and the product descriptions were spot-on. My order arrived on time and everything was in perfect condition. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I had a bit of trouble with customer service response time. But overall, I'm quite satisfied and will definitely shop here again!
Ordered from their online store during a big sale. Ended up returning several items from a big order. All returned in the same package together and labeled accordingly with extra labels placed on the bags they came in etc. I went above and beyond to make the return process as seamless as possible. When the received my package they said several items were missing. Then they said one item was missing. They refunded me for everything but this one missing item. It's super shady that at first they claimed that several items were missing, then apparently found them, but not all of them, and then didn't refund me or follow up with me when I emailed them trying to figure out what was going on.
Warning to potential evo.com customers. It's not clearly stated on their website upfront that returns aren't free. I'm sure it's in the small print but it should be on the main menu.
Tip for consumers:
Go somewhere else where return shipping is free. These non-bricks and mortar sites make much more profit so should not charge return shipping.

This company is horrible. Just about every aspect of the customer service chain from order, to follow up, to return has been awful. They appear to focus on attempting to be hip and clever (i. E. the voice mail prompt you are subjected to when attempting to connect and clear up their mess), but when it comes to doing what needs to be done they are misguided and incompetent. I have ordered from several other online vendors who understand that the potential risks associated with online orders can be mitigated by a fair return policy and steadfast customer service. In such cases, I confidently spend signifiant amounts of money knowing that I will be taken care of if/when the rare problem arises. Evo does not grasp this essential element of successful online retailers. In my case, they foolishly proceeded to screw me on a 272 dollar item that was a piece of a $1200 order. I will never purchase from them again and would advise you to avoid them so that you do not encounter the same treatment/end that I did. Superior alternatives for your hard earned money/skiing needs exist.
Just purchased 6 boat fenders through evo. Due to manufacturer flaw 3 broke. The dock line provided had a loop for attaching said fenders. The loop broke dropping the fenders and leaving just lines tied to the boat that I had just got wrapped! So I lost $100 in fenders and basically destroyed the side of the boat.
I contacted them hoping to get replacement fenders and they told me "if I didn't know how to tie on the fenders they couldn't warranty that"
Basically calling me an idiot. Lifelong boater and have used my old fenders for the past 5 seasons without issue. Decided to "upgrade" to protect my wrap.

Started buying from them 4 years ago, every transaction had been great and timely. Returns were super easy, etc. The last two transactions have been utter nonsense. One involved a return of a jacket with a clearly defective zipper. That return was 'started' 12 days ago. They finally acknowledged getting the item at the start of the week (although UPS claims sooner) here it is 5 days later and still no refund. Paypal didn't wait 5 days to take my money. I sent an inquiry and the (usually in 24 hours) has long since passed without any response. I have purchased 3 pairs of skis and two pairs of boots misc items like goggles and base layers plus two jackets from them. The last pair of skis took forever to arrive. Orders used to show up in a matter of a few days now it's a week or more (in the case of the skis more). Recently bought a pair of skis I needed for teaching lessons, online from a brick n mortar ski shop in Vermont. They arrived with bindings properly mounted in 4 days (to Minnesota). When EVO started and were trying to carve out online bizz they were doing a fantastic job now that they've got their niche and following one has to wonder if it isn't time to find the next hungry online retailer for a set of bindings for the skis that finally arrived too late for the Holidays.
After "assuming" I got a great deal on skis and bindings online, I went to shop to get them mounted (it was the third shop I tried comparing mounting prices) and they charged me the going rate of $100 for mounting, and as I walked around in the shop, I saw the same ski and binding in the same size and they offered me a better price with FREE mounting. Apparently I paid online MSRP prices when most shops just charge "retail" prices. NEVER BUYING ONLINE AGAIN! I could have saved over $300, plus time, plus energy, plus frustration. I hate to admit it, but I learned my lesson.
I bought a jacket online. It arrived, I tried it on. I decided that I didn't like it. I returned it. I was already annoyed that I had to pay for shipping again on the return. I never got any update that it was received. Thankfully I had package tracking on the item, so once I saw that it was delivered I reached out to inquire about my email.
I was told by a rep that they take forever to process returns, therefore I should get my refund in about a week. (paraphrasing) I waited. No refund came. No further information came.
I had to reach out AGAIN to inquire about my refund. I got a very long response about how the tags were missing and the item was worn. As I mentioned, I put the jacket on for 10 seconds and put it back in the box. Clearly the top notch stocking staff damaged the item. They offered to either return the item back to me or refund me 70%.
So at this point I was livid, not only did I already wast about 20 dollars on shipping at this point, now they decided to keep even more of my money because their staff likes to blame customers for their mistakes. I wrote them a very angry email and immediately got my refund. How funny how quickly that happened.
This was the first and last time I ever purchased anything from EVO.
I have purchased multiple items from Evo.com - Snowboards, bindings, wakeboards, etc. I didn't have any issues.
This time around I tried to take advantage of their price match guarantee. The requirements are clear. Must be the same item, sold in the US by an authorized reseller. They will beat the competitors price by 5% if they are not already better.
I submitted the paperwork and it was rejected. Although they confirmed all the details were correct, they could not sell the item for the same prices as the competitor because the price was below the manufacturers asking price. I. e., the deal was 'too good'. All requirements were met, but would not even give me the same price.
That is not great, but its gets worse. Not only would they not match my price - they were going to report the OTHER website and told me that my price may not be available anymore because they were going to complain. I had better act fast!
So not only did they not meet their own guarantee, they were actively going to increase the price on the other website and put my purchase in jeopardy. This is like taking $50 out of pocket.
One way to price match is lowering your price... I guess the other is to increase theirs.
There are other ways they could have handled this. Not thrilled, will be shopping elsewhere.

I had an evo car for 34 days back to back and paided every day sometimes twice a day... then after paying 400 out of my account which was suppose to be a payment of 300 they took and extra 100... then the following morning I call evo to ask what my. Balance is as I had to transfer over 3 times to a new evo cause their cars kept breaking down on me or getting a flat tire everytime I start it! So then I call as I said. And the guy tells me there 517$ balance on my rental I said thats wrong u guys just took 400 yesterday I said do not put that through its wrong... so he tells me he's going to read comments on my file he will get back to me its Friday my bday so I relax a bit and say sure no problem... 5 mins later he comes back on the line and says. So looks like the payment went through... I said I just told u not to put that through its the wrong amount... he's says oh I'm so sorry let me see what I can do puts me in hold... manager gets on and says I understand how u feel but there ls nothing I can do as it will take 3 -5 days to show up in your account so I get really mad as that was all the money I had for the weekend and its my bday... so I tell the manger he needs to figure something out they left me broke all weekend... so manager calls me back 10 mins later and says... so I talked with my people and this is what were going to do for to you, were going to postpone your pre billing for ya till Monday. Only because they took my money and I couldn't pay then till they fixed there mistake they didn't say sorry they didn't do nothing... oh wait im wrong they ask for another 400 $ no joke

I love evo car share, when it works. The premise is simple and effective. You book a car, you drive it around, you drop it off when you're done. The problem is that the app doesn't always work. I went to get a car just now, and I had an appointment, but when I got to where the car was supposed to be, it wasn't there. I looked around the area and couldn't see it. The other available cars were all miles away and I had to cancel my plans as I wasn't going to be able to get there in time. So, completely ineffective in this instance, and super frustrating. There have been other times when I've booked a car and when I got there, the car didn't start, or there was a flat tire, etc. which amounted to the same thing. If I've been able to leave lots of time, I can find another car, but if not, it messes up my schedule and I have to cancel or change plans. Another issue is that there are not enough cars. In my area, in any of the peak periods, I generally have to walk for miles to find a car. If evo had more cars in its fleet, I suspect this would not be as much of an issue, though it will always be an issue during periods when people are doing all their errands and activities. Overall, it's a good service, but always have a back up.

I ordered 2 pairs of mens x-large snowboarding socks. They sent me 1 small pair & 1 x-large pair. When I called to alert them to the mistake, the x-large socks I needed were sold out. They told me I had to print a label & take unwanted socks to UPS location before they would send me a different pair to compensate for THEIR screw up. When I finally did receive a different pair of x-large socks, they weee skiing socks, NOT snowboarding socks. Anyone who engages in winter sports knows skiing socks are not comparable to snowboarding socks! This company is a menace & should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Excellent! Though it is confusing what "Outlet" means. Perhaps the word "Overstock" might work better. Really liked that I didn't have to go through the friction of creating an account before I checked out and paid.
The product was delivered in time. But the item has difference with presented on side picture. There are old stile cheap lace lockers that is very strange!
Customer has to be informed about discrepancy of this kind before shipping or ordering.

Shipping time was extremely long but it was the holiday season so I understand. Prices are somewhat higher than sites like The-House.com or Whiskey Militia. Just have to be more selective when shopping. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and will return as needed to the site for purchases.
Board came in wonderful time...was very easy to purchase and the price was great...however we noticed that there are a few little nicks near the binding screws, however not worth returning item and waiting for another one

Brand new shopper so really don't know...site is easy to navigate...depth of available product is impressive vs. several other sites. First time buying boots online but have been skiing many years and confident of sizing if not feel of this particular item... we shall see :)
