I recently shopped at evo.com and had a great experience overall. They offer a fantastic selection of outdoor gear and apparel, and I found exactly what I needed for my upcoming ski trip. The website is easy to navigate, and the product descriptions were spot-on. My order arrived on time and everything was in perfect condition. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I had a bit of trouble with customer service response time. But overall, I'm quite satisfied and will definitely shop here again!
Ordered from their online store during a big sale. Ended up returning several items from a big order. All returned in the same package together and labeled accordingly with extra labels placed on the bags they came in etc. I went above and beyond to make the return process as seamless as possible. When the received my package they said several items were missing. Then they said one item was missing. They refunded me for everything but this one missing item. It's super shady that at first they claimed that several items were missing, then apparently found them, but not all of them, and then didn't refund me or follow up with me when I emailed them trying to figure out what was going on.
I ended up making my choice to purchase from Evo because the filter system is much easier to navigate than other sites. Some of the others don't allow you to stack multiple choices in the same category leading to frustration and a lot of back and forth. I only wish that Evo could include a few more of the options for filtering.
Evo.com > the-house.com for the following reasons:
1) Breakdown of board specifications, type of ride, level of difficulty, etc.
2) Website functionality (i.e. Visually pleasing and easy to navigate)
3) Ability to filter search results (i.e. Men's, size, color, etc.)
So far it has been smooth! The Sorel slippers arrived right on time and I absolutely love them. I usually take a 6.5 shoe or a 7 boot (with socks) but ordered the size 6 slipper since there was no 6.5. They fit great w/o socks which is exactly what I wanted. Service was great and the price was the best and believe me I searched around!
It's been great! Killer deal on a pair of skis/skins I've been holding out for. Had to pull the trigger. My only hope is that you guys ship my order UPS because the Postal Service is awful in my area.

I have been shopping online for several months for a ski jacket for my daughter in law. I wanted something that kept the wind, snow/rain, and chill out. Plus I did not want to pay a fortune. Ski jackets can be very expensive. I found the perfect jacket at the best price on evo.com. She loves it and that was the goal! So thrilled with my purchase.
Began dealing with EVO last season when I purchased my first new ski boots in years. I not only found the perfect boot but EVO showed their customer service stripes on no hassle return and replacement. Perfect place for winter gear.
I like that you guys have a filter for products available in Canada. Many of the other online site do not and it's very frustrating. I wish there were more brands available for Canada! That is my only complaint. Thanks!

Your site makes it very easy to find ski boots for my very wide feet by having the "last" size option. I feel very comfortable shopping on your website b/c of your 366 day return policy. I have bought and returned ski boots this past year and the return went smoothly. I also purchased skis 2 years ago and am very happy with them. Your prices are very competitive.
Last spring my then 10 year old son wrote a letter to Evo asking for stickers for his board. He was very happy when a box arrived which not only included stickers but a number of other things including a jacket and a nice note in reply. We'll be customers for life. Thank you to Evo for making my son feel great about his letter writing and your company.

I did NOT appreciate the discrimination on the shipping policy. I feel it is false advertising to say "free shipping on orders over $50" when it doesn't apply to Hawaii. We should at least get a discount.

I received several pairs of ski pants one day earlier then scheduled so that was great. Unfortunately, they are very long so I must return the items. Sorry this order did not work out.
Overall it was great. Ordering was hella easy and even when i called customer service they were chill too. Had a few questions about the board I ordered and the dude answered all my questions. Will definitely order from here from now on if I go online!

I was in class and saw another student with the boots on; never asked where she got them from but eventually ended up seeing them at Macy's. I didn't like their price so I waited and when they finally went on sale, my size was gone. I put in a search for the boots and came across your site. The price was fabulous AND you had my size. The day the shoes arrived, I wore them that night out with my family. Everyone thought they were so cute and now my mom wants a pair. Thank you so much for having such a great affordable price. The wetsuit fits nicely, it has long enough sleeves and stretches easily over my hips. It is very soft material, enough stretch and long zipper handle for easy dressing.
In- store pick up was a handy option for me.
I feel like the tuning selection on evo is lacking! I'd like to start assembling the tools necessary to wax and tune, but it doesn't appear you carry very many edge sharpeners and files. It'd be nice to purchase everything from one place to save on shipping!
Shopping online at Evo is so easy. I love that I can have it shipped to the store and return anything that didn't work out. Fortunately, only had to return a helmet as it was the wrong size and they helped me find another one on sale.
Mostly extremely satisfied. The skis I received are pretty banged up though, I expected them to be in a bit better condition. I will need to have them reconditioned at my own expense :( That's the only reason for some of the 4-star ratings instead of all 5-stars.
You guys sent out an email with an 'EXTRA!)' 10% off promo and a link on the email directly to this product where I found out it does not qualify for your extra 10%. Very sneaky in my opinion. You still got my order so I guess it worked, bit I now know the kinds of marketing tricks that you are willing to play.
