Room was great, no problems there. My only complaint is that I tried to contact the owner several times prior to stay to get more detailed info about amenities in the apartment and I never got any response until after our stay was already done:( Otherwise - all good
The evolve platform is dated as it doesn't allow constant adjustments. Communication with Evolve is terrible. You rarely, if ever, speak with the same support person. I have a private company that charges 15%, which does not include cleaning fee, and the company does everything. Evolve is a joke.
We enjoyed our stay in Kona. The condo is located in a great area, close to everything. It was stocked with everything we needed. We especially liked the camping chairs, washer and dryer, and extra towels. The only thing that was confusing was the key box. We arrived very tired, late at night and couldn't see the dark keypad above the door, only the easily seen key box. We kept trying the code and couldn't open it. We started to panic and finally saw the dark key code pad. I think the key box should be removed to avoid confusion! It got a little warm because the air conditioner is set at 77, but there were plenty of fans.
With Evolve you can easily speak with a person, not a bot 🤖. The customer service personnel are friendly, professional and helpful. Evolve gets my cabin booked well. Also, they offer benefits such as insurance, professional photography, vacation financing…. These services aren't available from other sites.
Our rental was just as beautiful as the listing. Perfect location in a very nice neighborhood, close to everything we needed. Lots of walking paths around the lakes too. Our house was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Good communication with the owner as well, we would highly recommend!
First time using any sort of air bnb. The experience was awesome and the cabin rented was perfect for what we were looking for. The owner's even drove up before we got there to set up a Christmas tree. The cabin was beautifully decorated for the time of year...
Overall, our stay was good. The manager was very responsive to our questions and concerns. The beds were comfortable and the showers were strong (good). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was easy. The back yard was basically a rock desert, but we were able to eat lunch there in sunshine. Our primary frustration was with the TVs. The living room TV looks good (huge) in photos, but was almost useless as there was no cable and no way to connect Roku for streaming. We were able to watch the Super Bowl but that was all. The bedroom TV was a smart TV with Fire TV but we couldn't log out so that we could log in, and thus were unable to access any streaming services. (Possibly due to our tech illiteracy, but the manager was not able to help us.) We'd been hoping for some movie watching during our two weeks, even if we all had to sit on the queen bed (not ideal), but no dice. Please get a new smart TV for the living room! Much of the furniture was quite worn (scratches, stains) but was very functional, so no complaint. It would be good to have an easy chair or two in the living room also, so that more than three people could sit in there.
Our experience was wonderful. The only issue I have is that it was confusing working with 2 companies. We started out with VRBO and that's who took our deposit. Then we were handed over to Evolve from there who we paid our balance to. There were so many emails I lost track. I couldn't find one of them that gave the final payment instructions… it was just confusing.
Been using evolve/vrbo for over 8 years with multiple rentals with thousands of dollars with no issues. These moose management folks check in requirements were beyond-intrusive, very annoying,, and downright unnecessary.for someone who has used the product many times and has a long track record with evolve/vrbo. I had to send my passport a picture of myself addresses e mails and names of all my guest on and on. I will Never use any service associated with this management company again. In fact I may never use evolve again!
We recently had new pictures taken of our condo which is hosted by Evolve. Everything went smooth. The photographer was professional and on time!
We celebrated early Christmas, 6 adults and four kids under 5. The home was quite spacious for the active toddlers. The home was very well stock with necessities! I contacted the host twice and their response was kind and professional. Highly recommended!
Home was just like description, very clean, well maintained and stocked. Too cold to use pool, but was clean and ready for use. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice house, well-appointed and nicely maintained, just right for our family group. Great location for downhill and cross-country skiing. We'd rent again for sure.
Was very pleased initially with them. They were easy to talk to, and their damage claims process was excellent. Unfortunately, in recent years their quality has gone downhill. They don't communicate with guest appropriately. They always side with guests in any dispute. They try to deny legitimate damage claims. For the 10% that they take I'm not really sure what they do.
This company is awful. Do not use them. You can earn more on your own with pricelabs and avoid alot of unnecessary headaches. Worst part- I gave them 3 months notice when I wanted to sell and they charged over $800 cancellation totally unexpected. Airbnb and VRBO cancel bookings when you sell with no penalty

I booked through VRBO which had fees as a third party service, and Evolve's fees were for being the fourth party in the transaction. The house we rented was fine, but ended up being very expensive for a short visit.

It was a very relaxing and comfortable experience for our first stay on the big island of Hawaii. The home was located in a slightly remote area but was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit. We had use of the whole house.not just a bedroom or two. The home was a 3 bdrm 2 ba, clean and with helpful notes posted about and a nice view of the ocean from a large porch area with a breakfast nook and a BBQ, which we used several times during our stay. The home was clean and we treated it as our "Second home", and already are planning a trip back next year. The hosts were very helpful and the check-in and checkout process was very easy.Overall this was so much better than a hotel.
I made weather related changes to my reservation that were handled quickly and professionally, and without penalty.
I had to cancel my reservation and was, frankly, surprised by how easy and efficient the process was. I spoke to someone on the phone who helped me right away and didn't try to change my mind. Then all of my money, fees and deposit, was quickly returned. I would use Evolve again in a second!
Evolve staff is always very quick to answer my requests and get them completed as soon as possible!
Evolve makes renting and managing the finances easy. Any problem I've had they take no responsibility for the problem. They also take too much control of the rental rate and really push back when I want to change it. Getting reimbursed for damages is always a big challenge due to their time and documentation requirements. Occaionally I haven't been to the property to notice damage within their time requirements so then they refuse to reimburse my expenses.
I called to see if there was a fee that could be charged for late check outs and early check in. I would say that 75% of my guests request this.
Although the Evolve person that I talked to could not help, she was very kind and thoughtful.
We enjoyed our stay at this amazing home. It had everything we could possibly need. Communication with the host was easy and he was very helpful. Beautiful area to visit.

Renting, getting into the property, etc was a simple process. They have good communication and were helpful when I needed to change something in my reservation.
Extremely high marks on communication, from payment schedule to location directions, directions to enter the home, where all the important information about the home was located, extremely good directions on closing the property and very easy. We did not have to most of the work for the cleaning crew.
