Room was great, no problems there. My only complaint is that I tried to contact the owner several times prior to stay to get more detailed info about amenities in the apartment and I never got any response until after our stay was already done:( Otherwise - all good
The evolve platform is dated as it doesn't allow constant adjustments. Communication with Evolve is terrible. You rarely, if ever, speak with the same support person. I have a private company that charges 15%, which does not include cleaning fee, and the company does everything. Evolve is a joke.

The home was exceptionally clean. The host was available for any issues or concerns. The home was close to many locations.

Good: cust service reps when i do talk to them, they are very respectful, professional and attentive to my needs but will tell me they will address and get back to me. So very nice at the time I am speaking with them, but Im usually not always happy with the answers they give me.
The bad: Left hand doesnt know what the right is doing. Example one: told me their data base statistics show pools are not the first thing ppl like to see as they had my living room pic up first. I told the m its Texas and guests like a pool! They didnt change it. Then I look on their website to see if they have any pools as first pic. 18 out of 20 pics had pools as first pic! I went back and told them this and they responded with,"well, it was prob the time of year you asked." Not true. I asked in Feb as Kids get out in May. Then they realized it to be true and changed it. They dont do a great job of researching an area in my opinion. I had to tell them where my place was and what to highlight. They kept showing downtown and that is a half hour drive from my place. I have fiesta texas right next to me and imo should be the first thing on the listing, not downtown. I wouldve purchased a place downtown had i wanted that to be the showcase item.
They also keep referring to their "algorithm or computer generated statistics" as it is what they use to price my home per night. Its rather annoying as they had my 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with pool for 200 a night! I got riff raff in there and they stole some things and damaged and then they say they cant do anything about stolen items. I told them to raise my nightly price to 315 a night and reluctantly they did. Im still getting bookings! Upsetting that i lost out for like 6 months because i kept listening to them tell me to "trust the process" thats just a few of the examples out of many...
The renters came for 2 nights and left and I haven't heard any response from them.
Booked solid for 2 months and good before and after
A group of 12 enjoyed a relaxing weekend away. This house had everything we needed and was located by the beach boardwalk for easy access. Clean and well kept. We would book again for future trips.
Finding a VRBO property in the middle of Pt Loma is fabulous. Great restaurants, marina facilities, views, ambiance,all within walking distance and only 10 minutes from the airport!
Seamless. All questions and requested amendments leading up to dates were handled both promptly and as requested. Property and owner contact info was pretty much as advertised. Couldn't have asked for more.

Home was super clean and organized…pretty much everything a family would need to enjoy a beautiful backyard with Salt Water Pool! Evolve was accessible, helpful and timely in answering any questions…great experience…thank you!
Perfect location. Hot tub needed to be badly cleaned. The home lost power our second day and after trying to reach the property manager twice, we never got a response. Power eventually came back on. Evolve never bothered checking to make sure we had power returned. Had we received any form of communication from them, I would have given this listing a full 5 stars.

Condo was clean and perfect for our needs.
We enjoyed our stay in Lake Havasu. The house was incredibly clean and we were surprised to be gifted with a snack basket. The views were incredible! We took the advice in the Owner's Manual and hiked Sara's Crack. Out group of 7 people ranged from age 11 to 47 and we climbed down a rope and walked through cold water at one part of the trail. We loved it!
Very clean and spacious property centrally located within 15-20 min of beach. Owners and staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to correct an issue we had. Had all the amenities of home. Would definitely stay here again if needed.
With multiple food allergies I need a kitchen for even brief stays. Although the cookware was limited,it was enough to produce duck confit and lovely grilled fresh fish. Beds were comfortable and so was the overall house. Short walk to beach….because everyone needs a little exercise!

Evolve does not respond to emails at all, thankful I only dealt with thr house owner who was extremely helpful. I sent evolve an email and they did not care enough to respond. Why would I want to deal with them again? The answer is I would not.

No guarantee - I had a booking reserved for over a year and they called the day before arrival to say the host was cancelling. We had it reserved to watch the solar eclipse - by then everywhere else was booked or charging incredibly high prices. They gave a refund and mentioned other locations (for 2x the price) but made no efforts to adjust the price or make amends for the last minute cancellation. We were left without a place to stay.
Update - the owner of the replacement place I booked through them just emailed me to cancel that one as well. He said he didn't know why it was still listed, it was sold months ago. Evolve cannot be trusted to provide a reliable booking.
Tip for consumers:
I had to pay upfront and my reservation was non-cancellable after a certain point, but they reserve the right to cancel on me at any time with no recourse.

The condo was very clean, inviting, and comfortable. It had all the necessities to make it feel like home- especially when cooking an Easter dinner. The location was perfect- close enough to downtown CDA but enough distance to not hear too much noise at night. I would absolutely stay again and again :)
We had a great time in Gambier visiting our son at Kenyon college. The location was perfect. The house was very clean, and stocked with everything you would need. We would love to come back and stay again.

We loved this house, particularly the open plan living/dining/kitchen area and the great outdoor space. I was initially concerned using Evolve because I am used to renting direct from owner, but both owner and host were accessible and responded to my requests.
The only reason I didn't give it a five star was because a stray dog for some reason has been here and barking at 4:00 in the morning. Not sure whose dog it is as it didn't have a collar. Friendly dog though. We didn't feed it or give him water hoping he would go home. The parking is up a hill so it would be hard if you had more than one boat to hook up to electric. The place is exactly as listed.
The home was clean and comfortable. Great location to everything that may be required with easy access to all major routes in the area. Park area right behind the property was perfect for walking our dog. It was very clean with everyone picking up after their dogs have done their business. We would rent this property again.
