Only reason they got 1 star is because it doesn't allow to give a minus score, diabolical shambolic excuse for a "courier" (wouldn't even like to even put them in the category of courier), I'd rather walk all the way to collect my parcel with glass in my shoes than let this useless bunch pretend to care, lose the parcel then ignore all messages or contact, I have requested a call back 23 times in 4 days, guess what... NOTHING,

Waited in all day and no sign of them. Then received an email stating their driver had "missed us" I have a ring doorbell to prove they haven't been here. Cancelled the high value item with Pro Direct and will get a refund. If I knew they were using Evri I would never have bought from them. This is the third time this company has lied and stolen my parcels. Why any company use them is beyond me.

Rec'd an email saying by parcel was successfully delivered, to the address given (a large office which has a open reception from 8am - 6pm). When I checked the photo, it showed the parcel was posted though some random residential doorway. When I enquired through the awful chatbot I rec'd a response that said that my address wasn't open (incorrect) and that my neighbour agreed to receive the parcel (incorrect it was posted through letterbox). They were unable to state the address where they posted the parcel but "the GPS shows the delivery driver was in the area" so none the wiser where my parcel is. Awful delivery service with the added dismal customer service. Avoid them if possible

Despite the partial* rebranding, Evri is every bit as crap as it was when known as Hermes.

I set aside the 12 required hours (08:00-20:00), yesterday, for an arranged pickup. Nothing. I did the same today. Nothing. Tomorrow? Who knows? It'll be a Sunday so that's highly doubtful so now we're looking at Monday—day number four. I'm in a household with nervous, so-called 'rescue dogs' who react to just about anything and everything, and to describe us as being on tenterhooks for the past couple of days is putting it mildly. Their website: 'We've received your return request and we're expecting it from you shortly' as though the onus is on me, rather than them picking it up! Could they have messaged me? Yes! Did they? Nope! Do I expect either an explanation or an apology? Blimey, I almost made myself giggle, then, but perhaps that's a precursor to men in white coats coming in, I'm that close to the end of my tether.

Do I recommend them? Do I hell—absolutely not! And as for my one-star rating, well, that's only because a zero-star option isn't available.

*Partial because their identity still varies on different sites despite it being almost a year on, but poop still stinks of excrement no matter what you call it.

Awful, useless delivery service. No way to speak to a human, automated tracking updates are unclear and they have lost my parcel without explanation. Completely unacceptable.

Evri lost the parcel that I entrusted to them, containing 25 years worth of photographic slides. They don't seem particularly interested in trying to find it. Use any other company.

Driver arrived in a mobile disco with the door wide open. Could not attract his attention by shouting through the upstairs window because the music overwhelmed my screaming. Eventually he did hear me but refused to turn down the music. What an inconsiderate and annoying way to deliver a parcel.

Evri has no apparent way to make a complaint, which is frustrating. The complaint form requires a selection from the drop down menu, but there is nothing to be selected so you can't send your complaint. Trying to rate the driver doesn't work either, as a message comes up saying thanks for doing so, even though I didn't provide a rating. No chance to do so.

Given that Evri don't care about providing any form of complaints procedure my only recourse would be a complaint in writing to their registered office, it seems. Is this reasonable? Far from it - an email address would be nice but they apparently don't have one. If they do they are hiding it very well.

I won't ever be using Evri for parcel deliveries, and won't in future buy anything from anyone sending by Evri.

Parcel been sitting in evri limbo since Saturday morning with wrong time stamp checked the tracking at 10:15 am but stated 18:00 still not updated whats going on with my parcel

If i could leave this company a 0 star rating i would. Worst courier company i have ever come across, even to the point where i am considering not ordering from any company that uses them. All of the items i ordered 2 weeks before Christmas for presents have not shown up...some have said on the tracking that they have been delivered...no picture taken providing proof. Do they not understand in this day and age the majority of homeowners have ring door bells and security camera that clearly show no deliveries being made at the time they confirm they have? I have a community whats app group and the other residents in my area have experienced the same issues...even advising that the temp staff EVRI hire over the festive period are stealing the parcels. Recent orders since the new year, state on the tracking that the parcel is out for delivery then advise there has been a problem and a delay has occurred. Absolute shocking service, i do not know how this company is still in business. I am now having to spend my time contacting the places that i have purchased items from to say they haven't been receipted!...to be told EVRI have lost the parcel - funny that when its showing as being delivered...i am extremely frustrated given i cant get replacement items as out of stock so am now faced with waiting for refunds. EVRI take responsibility for the fact that you have ruined some peoples time over Christmas and are still doing so! The CEO needs to step in and take action. Dont know how there current rating is at 4 stars? Impossible with the service they provide.

Waiting for another parcel sent 3 weeks ago, tracking is random and useless, other parcels "lost" or delayed 30 days, parcels damaged, left in the rain and/or in full view. Useless since November.

Evri reckon they deliver 2 million parcels a day. Yeah many to the wrong address, late, damaged. And 500,000 parcels each day don't get delivered at all.

If an online seller uses Evri I will not buy from them.

Evri your business model is broken, you get paid to do a job which often is not being done. At all, let alone badly. And you are not even the cheapest courier.

You are paying self employed zero contract delivery people a pittance which in more rural areas doesn't even cover motoring costs. That and the chaos at the delivery depots mean they quit, that is why you have "staff shortages".

You have no contactable customer service staff, just a useless money saving online moron.

Man at the top - you can no longer milk your business like the good old days. Perhaps think ahead a little, do your job, organise your business and save the hassle and misery caused to so many people by your shambolic company.

Do not use Evri or buy from someone who uses them.

Disgusting!
Our parcels are always dumped on the doorstep in sight to be stolen even tho we have a safe place on the delivery instructions. Do not use this company!

Would give a zero if possible
Would give a zero if possible. EVERY SINGLE ORDER I have placed where evri are responsible, it either gets delayed for weeks until I complain or the parcels disappear and state they have been delivered. Evri/Hermes whatever they are, load of poo. They need to get rid of this courier service. I've stopped ordering from anyplace that use Evri. They're actually the worst courier service I've ever had.

Another warning, during these times of hardship, evri are persuing an extra revenue stream by demanding customers pay an out of spec charge for parcels being out of spec i.e over stated weight and over dimension limits for packages.
Having experience of this, I now weigh, measure and take photographic proof with evri package sent via evri because I am receiving more and more demands for this extra charge even after I write the exact dimensions in big market pen on every package. If you receive one of these demands simply reply to the email, attach your proof of the package dimensions with a photo of the package on a weighing scale and this invoice will be cancelled by evri with an email telling you they are doing you a favour as their tape measure is more accurate than yours! My advice is to pay a little extra and go elsewhere as in the long run it will be cheaper and stress free as packages won't be getting missing and you won't be charged "extra charges" that others who cannot prove they were never at fault in the first place!

Evri delivered my parcel to complete strangers and then customer services refused any accountability. If I wanted my expensive items to be given away in the street I could have done that myself.

Courier never showed up to collect a parcel after I waited in all day. You then can't get in touch with anyone to sort it as all their systems are automated.

A car crash of a company masquerading as a delivery company. Avoid like the plague. Sadly companies use them and it will start to affect their reputation. DREADFUL - NEEDS CLOSING DOWN AND FAST but no-one is listening.

I have dropped off a parcel in parcelshop which I got a blue card as a receipt on the 29th May. It is now 13th May.I couldn't use the code in the card to track my parcel for some reason. I tried calling but I couldn't get pass the automated voice because the code is not the right one. There's no option to speak to an adviser, so it was going on in circles. I found an email to put my complaint forward. I used this however I got a bounce back saying the email is no longer in use. Very frustrating to deal with when there is a problem.

EVRI received parcel 11th December, listed it as delayed on 15th December and it has been that way for weeks. Tried contacting EVRI using their tracking service and even writing them a letter, nothing. Beginning to realise that my £200 item is now gone and EVRI is going to do nothing about it. I've seen 'whistleblower' reports in the media that state that there's absolutely nothing preventing EVRI employees stealing and mishandling parcels, which is probably what happened to mine as the large box certainly wasn't lost. You should think very carefully about using this company and you should outright NOT use them in the run up to Christmas. I certainly will never use the company again.

Tip for consumers:
Check the EVRI exception from compensation list (it is very long). If your item is included in one of the categories of the list, just don't use EVRI. EVRI is the equivalent of a bargain basement courier service and the moment anything goes wrong with your shipment, that's it, you'll have no recourse, nothing will be investigated and if the item was on the non compensation list, it's gone, doesn't matter if EVRI beat the hell out of the item during shipment or "LOST" it.

Evri lost a parcel they were supposed to deliver Next Day on 15th August 2022 it still has not been delivered and they will not admit they have lost the parcel, automated Chat is absolutely hopeless you are talking to a robot, their Customer Support are a useless bunch of could not careless idiots. DO NOT USE THIS COURIER there are plenty of reputable courier's online you can use.

Claimed £10.80 from me saying the parcel was oversized, I measured it and it wasn't, they should not have accepted it rather than delivering and charging extra. Due to them miss handling items, so much packaging has to be used.
I'LL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

So what I have learnt about this company so far is they have a delivery service that is not up to standard can't deliver a unit to my house but can take picture at the bottom of my road, been waiting for three days delivery was ment for last Friday, got feeling from the photo the delivery driver had two choices deliver the item and be late on his lunch or cba delivering it f'it going on my lunch break investigation is open now with studio who we bought the unit from to see why it has not been delivered 3 failed delivery's aswell is not good luck for a rebranded company also stop getting employees on trust piolit to right up good reviews about it shows weakness anyway that is what I yhink anyway

I ordered an item from Amazon and it seems like Amazon outsourced the delivery service to Evri, which I have bad experience with it before, last time Evri lost my parcel. This time my parcel was never been delivered. It was supposed to be delivered at on 16 Sep 2023 16:00 then suddenly it was delayed till 21:00. Me and my family were all at home the whole time and no one has rung our door bell nor knock on the door, no sight of Evri's van either. Then I received an email saying that the driver was unable to deliver my parcel cause I am not at home. It is total nonsense as I am at home for the whole day. Then my parcel was being rescheduled to deliver on 18 Sep 2023 which is today. The tracker said it was supposed to be delivered from 18:00 - 21:00 and again I received an other email claiming that I missed my parcel cause I am not at home. And again me and my family were actually at home for the whole time, and not once we heard door bell rang nor deliver van coming into our driveway. The drivers are obviously lying.

The items are never delivered on time always days later even when items have a paid delivery time slot as for there tracking app tells you your delivery will not be delivered a day after it didn't turn up plus don't give you a fresh delivery date RUBBISH

Still waiting for my delivery, it should have been delivered by the 17th November, this is becoming a regular thing, 3rd time a parcel has taken 2 weeks or more to arrive after delivery date. VERY UNHAPPY
