Constantly making monetary errors. When I complain I am told we just report what the bank info is sent to us. BS!They have their own formulas and algorithms which they can not explain. My score is about 20 points lower than other scores. Used boost and then quit. My score dropped 16 points immediately because I was using their product. Started back on boost and score only went up 2 points. My credit history is perfect. Longest account is 22 years but I am docked points for not having long enough credit history. My car insurance went up even thought I had no accidents or tickets. I asked why and they said because your experience Credit score went down. I was told it was a law in NC that car insurance could use the score to increase the cost of insurance. My other 2 scores are well over 800. Experian sucks. I wouldn't trust them to walk my dog.
Full of dark patterns this website or service whatever you may wanna call it is utterly garbage and unreliable. Very shameful business practices as well.
My score dropped from 770 to 755 in one month. I have a gym membership on one card and the rest are a tank of has each month amd I pay off every month. My auto loan $1,000 a month and is direct deposit. They had no explanation why I dropped so drastically and suggested I hire a credit specialist. What a joke our credit system is! Amd we are trying to buy our first house on 2 months and this happens. Just awful...
They give the lowest numbers and their customer service is the absolute worst. Since their data breach it's gotten worse
Went through their process to find affordable car insurance in the area. It took an egregious amount of time. Not only did they give me a single quote, just one, for a single company, but the quote was 4 times the amount per month that I got gerring actual quotes from actual companies. Experian is a scam, dont use them.
Dispute department guy was such a jerk. He had to work the day after the 4th and was giving me attitude the whole time for no reason. His tone was so condescending. If you hate your job that much than quit. The lady I got before being transferred to dispute department was no help either. I follow the correct steps to upload proof of my dispute and the website won't even allow me to upload the PDF file. I have to mail it in. Straight garbage don't even waste your time
My minor child's ssn was stolen in a medical data breach. I called Experian to try to check her credit report, to make sure her identity hadn't been used to open credit balances. I was told I had to have a PAID MEMBERSHIP to access my child's report. I have to PAY to make sure my child doesn't enter adulthood with crippling debt SHE did not accrue. When having a credit score is not something she can opt out of! It's ridiculous! If we don't have a choice but to take part in credit scores and reports... why do we have to pay to protect them?!
This is a scam,
Do not subscribe, once you have your details your TRAPED,
Thish from costumer service hung up one me after requested a cancellation on my recent subscription,

DO NOT SIGN UP,
ITS A SCAM,
I have been locked out of my online account and I can't unlock the account, multiple attempts to call the credit bureau are just met with a phone robot, that just tells me to go to the same website I'm locked out of, I need to talk to a real person about this. I am disabled and stressed the f*** out. I don't know what their game is, trying to hide behind phone robots. Experian is Trash. Go in the flipping bin.
That's the Worse company l ever seen in my entire life! For 2 years l have been trying to login in and every time it says that they wasn't able to confirm my identity! I send email and they told me to give them a call! I gave them a call but not ever thought the phone they wasn't able to confirm my identity! So l ask them for the company address so l can get all my documents and go personally in there to sort out the problems! They said that they don't have that kind of personal service! This is bull$#*!, they hold in there informations about my self and l can't have access to it! This is completely bull$#*!! This is unbelievable and unacceptable! Those people that works there don't care about a us! They did hang up the phone once when they wasn't able to sort out the problems! I've ever see anything like this! I gave them s call today twice, get the results?! Still not accessing my account and my information! This Experian is Rubbish! Complete RUBBISH!
I just spent 15 minutes filling out their forms to get ONE quote. What a complete waste of f**king time.
A single "credit report" costs $25. The first issue with that (aside from the very obvious one) is that it doesn't give you any real information or advice on how to improve your credit. The second issue (and the real kicker) is that just requesting one causes your credit score to go down. By a lot. The idea of a credit score is already nonsensical enough as it is, but Experian is just exceptionally stupid and unhelpful on all fronts. Don't listen to anything they tell you.
They make it seem like you NEED them to lock or unlock your FICO Score. They are claiming to be free but charge you after they make you sync your bank account. There is ZERO notification by text or email before the 7 day mark. They are doing shady business taking money from people and putting it into those corny expensive commercials all over TV. YOU DO NOT NEED THESE CROOKS FOR YOUR FICO SCORE. They are hoping you don't pay attention to their long notice of service. Waiting on their refund for shady business across the board in every way.
I have used and had a membership with Experian for over 30 years, I always was able to reach a live person. No matter what number is on Google or the Experian website they will no longer put you thru to live agent.
This is very dangerous to us considering they control our lives with these reports.
I canceled like a week ago and today they charged me, I called them and they told me that I have a free membership so it must have been someone else using my card (yeah right) then the person on the phone asked for my credit card number, why in the world would I give some random person over the phone my credit card number? They're freaking scammers, don't trust them!
First of all you can never talk to a live person. You report incorrect information. Once a charge off is reported, say 6 years ago, the reporting company should not have a right to report the payments currently late. The reporting company chqnged the way they were reporting the old write off and started showing payments not being current. You can't have it both ways. When the reporting company shows the account 30, 60, 90 and then written off from 6 years ago you cant go back and show current amount owed on a monthly basis. EXPERIAN SHOULD KNOW BETTER TO REPORT IT LIKE THIS. I tried to have it reported correctly and experion did nothing. This is supposedly coming off my credit in may. This was citizens bank credit card services.
This company should be dissolved. You cannot get a person on the line to help with anything and the IVR bullies you into making only selections that lead to more automation. What a total trash experience. I haven't cursed at a robot in a long time.
Answer: It's difficult. After I discovered the theft of my identity on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, I wasn't able to report it to Experian until Monday morning, 5 days later, because they only let you report it by phone, and their call center is closed nights, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, their phone system is awful to navigate.
Answer: There are but no experience with alternative companies
