Zero jobs… literally every single one of their headhunters has a goose egg as far as opportunities. They email you to death but you pay for zero. Nada. Zip. Stay away.
Auto renewal forces you to renew but without any advanced warning giving an option to cancel.
Even if you unsubscribe to the service, this is not deemed as cancellation. Therefore you will be looking for a roll in year xx, and the following year be charged again.
They are unwilling to provide details of their financial regulator nor willing to provide an address to write a complaint.
They keep sending jobs with no relation to my profile even though I also paid them to write it- scam

Terrible- should be prevented from false advertising

I would rather stick with Linkedin than fall into the trap of tall claims made by Experteer.
Please be aware there is this Auto Renewal which they claim is available on sign up page but how can a sane person remember it after 3 months or so.
They give false claims that they give notice about auto renewal however it is definitely in such way that user is most like end up paying more than what one needs.
There is no benefit that one will get from this website.
Terrible, terrible site! Shockingly confusing, no real suggestions/connections re any real jobs and absolutely no value whatsoever. And to top this all off, trying to screw me for another yearly fee (automatic renewal) despite the fact the account was deleted prior - no confirmation though, how clever. I should have done more research as I can see this is a common practice from their part. How could these people be still in the business is beyond me!
Thankfully AMEX knew better and stood by me re this matter! Stay clear and if you were as naive as me, fight them with what you can, as hard as you can.
I paid the premium package to get a good job; on LinkedIn and Indeed, I got good interviews, and those platforms are free. Well, for a premium, I thought I would be getting the best, and I was wrong; I got some leads, but not even close to my expertise, neither in my city.
Not even one!
I got a job thanks to Indeed, but this Experteer company is a complete scam, and they just still your money.
Be careful.
Best regards,

Don't waste your money. I was told I had to pay to access a job application, I paid £29 for the privilege of clicking through to find it didn't exist.
Signed up for a premium subscription with payment for 6 months.
Paid in advance for 6 months.
After 6 months, I received a message about payment in advance for another 6 months.
I decided not to renew because the service was not suitable.
I asked to terminate the contract and pay in proportion to the period used. They refused and sent an agreement which stated that if I do not notify of termination 14 days before the date of the advance invoice, the agreement is considered extended.
In our progressive times - when everything is for the Client, with such a short-sighted attitude towards the Client, this company will be left without clients.
I looked at other reviews and realized that it was my mistake to choose this company.

Same offers as available on many other free sites. Much better Linkedin or Glassdoor!
Your data are also used to make revenues which honestly does not justify the high price requested.
No contact from company and headhunters... at all over more than 6 months. Whereas from other free web sites I received lots of contacts.
Last but not least is the mean way the have to make money. When you apply for a 6 months fee, it is not clear that you are entering into a lifetime contract and you automatically get charged with no pre alert.
I don´t believe this is a fair way to treat customers. True that the terms of the contract are in the terms and conditions, but anyhow I dont see this as serious.
Fine, they get some money from poor and stupid customer like me... but they will ruin their reputration forever!
Btw, ask your personal data to be removed... also this is not so easy...

I joined Experteer about 3 years ago and cancelled my subscription quite quickly afterwards as I found it bore no fruit. Just a couple of months ago I discovered that they were still taking money from me so, I have cancelled again this time keeping the emails. Stay clear! I think they are also linked to JobLeads but yet to confirm.
I specified an location, yet I received info on jobs outside of my area.
One looked good, but when I queried the opportunity, the offer was not available.
The subscription automatically renewed (after they told me it wouldn't), I asked for a refund and they said no.
Better to spend your time and money elsewhere!
Dear Kirk G.,
Thank you for your feedback.
On behalf of Experteer I would like to apologize if you had a bad experience with our service.
Experteer is a professional career service for executives. Each year we help thousands of candidates into new jobs - here a few examples:

If you are referring to our recommendations it is possible that we suggest jobs that fit e.g. topic-wise and salary-wise but nmot 100% location-wise.
We suggest you create a saved search - this way you can receive only job suggestions in your area, here you can specify your search more.
I am sorry if you missed the information re. The prolongation of a Premium Membership. We do clearly state this when you sign up. It is easy to cancel a premium membership (in your account or by email to us), you can do this even 1 day before prolongation and we confirm every cancellation in writing within days.
We are happy to check again for you, our Customer Service Team is available by email at support@experteer.com.

This "service" is effectively a scam. Maybe it is better in Europe, but here in the states, it is total crap. Really wish I would have believed the reviews, but I really need a job and was trying everything I could. Now for the best part... You are automatically signed up for auto renewal for the service. Ok, lot's of companies do that. However, legitimate companies actually send you an invoice or reminder prior to your renewal. Not these guys. BAMM another charge and no chance to get your money back.
Save your money for a legitimate search effort. Shame on me for not paying attention to the fine print and cancelling immediately when I realized how crappy the service really is.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT waste your money
Please don't give this company your payment info. I signed up on March 5 for a service less than $20? They charged my card $119.40 plus a $3.58 fee. I've sent several emails canceling the service and asking for refund. I can't believe they would do this. I feel so ashamed that I was duped this way. I'm still waiting for a substantive response, not an auto reply
No jobs comes out of this site and I don't even think there are recruiters that check it out! Then they trick you with automatic renewal and for 6 months! I'm very disappointed and I seriously don't recommend it to anyone!
Dear customer,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are very sorry if you had a bad experience with our service.
Experteer is a highly-personalized career service for senior-level executives worldwide and is intended for senior professionals with earnings of at least €60,000/£45,000/$100,000 per year. We list only positions that offer a benchmark salary of at least these amounts. We currently offer over 250.000 of such opportunities on our site. The majority of these positions require several years of professional experience and related education.
A team of analysts continuously reviews the quality of each job offered on our site. And in order to maintain up-to-dateness roughly 8.000 jobs are renewed per day.
Over 10.000 headhunters and 8.000 companies are registered. Many of them search for candidates on a daily basis.
As we are an Internet-based career service, Experteer does not offer personalized career counseling or job placement, though. Rather, we provide an effective and efficient way to find open positions that best suit their expertise and goals. You are welcome to complete your profile and specify your next career step. Then you may search for jobs that might fit your needs. As a Basic Member, you will see a list of all job titles and locations, but only see a subset of the full job views. Full access is reserved for Premium Members.
We do clearly state the prolongation of a premium membership when you sign up for premium and of course also in the terms and conditions. Cancelling a premium membership is easy to do - by email, fax, letter or in your account. You can do this even 1 day before prolongation and we confirm every cancellation by email.
Please feel free to write to me directly with any further questions - at support@experteer.com.

I Signed up in January 2020. Not a single email from them since. Charged me $69us today, and of course, I am surprised becuase nearly 4 months have passed with Zero communication.
I went to cancel, and there is no Online Cancellation. This is 100% illegal in any Country for an Online company to do.
They must have a clear way of
Cancel for a paying consumer.
I plan on filing complaints and disputing charges.
I could never post my resume due to continued technical problems, I immediately sought help by sending emails to no avail. I tried to cancel. The system kept locking up. I was allegedly able to cancel. I paid for one month of premium service that I was never allowed to use. They advertise in the US but there resources are allegedly in another country.
Dear Rosalind,
Thank you for your comment.
We are very sorry if you experienced technical problems. You are able to upload files (max. 3MB) to your Experteer account in the area "My Profile". Maybe it was a Browser issue. I suggest you contact Experteer customer service.

I got hooked into the free trial and then they renewed on me, my fault, but I emailed them the same day to cancel and they kept the money. I doubt they sent me more than 2 suitable jobs and they were all just rehashed from other websites like zip recruiter. This is a German web company masquerading as a global job platform that just re wraps other sites jobs. Don't waste your money.
This group asks way too much money for the membership while they offer very little in return. The filter search options are too general therefore the search can not be done for every desired job position. Also, the number of job offers is too poor. So, once you subscribe you are stuck. 99Euro on a 6 month base and there is no way out! Terrible!
I guess I should have researched more reviews before signing up for Experteer's premium membership. They didn't send credible positions and I found it was not useful or helpful at all. I have to assume that they make their money from membership fees. No warning email about renewal and they charged my credit card. I canceled my membership and asked for a refund and they said, "No, you need to cancel prior to the renewal." It was 12 hours after the renewal. Save your money and find a better site for your job search!

I subscribed for one month and then cancelled.
Cancellation is a bit hidden. I had to fill in a form why I wanted to cancel and then got a message ¨Sorry to see you go. ¨ and an email with the heading Cancellation of your premium account¨ However, they continued charging!
Trash website, completely useless. Most other sites are much better. Experteer has horrible search results, tries to hide stuff and make you pay, and generally seems like a slimy and horrible company. They need to go out of business immediately. Any other free job websites are 100x better.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away
Their entire goal is to do just as much as to think they are actually doing something... until you forget about them and they continue to collect their blood money automatically.
Then when you realize that you have gotten ANY benefit from the service you have bought, you need THIER permission to end the payments.
By all rights we, the scammed should start a class action lawsuit against them and against the credit cards that will not let you cancel the service without their permission
What a waste of money! I subscribed for a monthly fee but was charged over R3000 once off... so angry about this and the site is just terrible. So angry that I didn't research the site like I usually do, else I would have come across this site. I have emailed them them like a few days later to request a refund as most companies offer cancellation within 14 days but they don't. They just took the last funds from my account. They responded and and ignored my 2nd email.
After reading reviews & experiencing the same, I cancelled my membership and tried to contact them for a refund. I haven't heard anything. My membership is valid 'til March, but I would prefer a refund and close my account. Not at all what I expected.
Dear Lord. I have blocked and tried to unsubscribe to this site... I get 3 emails! A day! Please someone tell me how to unsubscribe. You can't turn the filters off... you still get the Newsletter. Really? Yes, really. Don't subscribe. And it's illegal not to be able to unsubscribe.

Dear Tom F.,
Experteer informs clearly on the subscription page, that the membership renews automatically. In addition you also confirmed this by accepting our terms and conditions. You may cancel your premium membership until the very last day of your subscription and your cancellation will of course be confirmed. That your membership renewed means, that you did not cancel your membership.
Kind regards
