I got my opportunity on becoming a singer, the most wonderful thing that ever to happen to me. From performing on the streets and bars is now making its way to the spotlight. Explore Talent really is awesome. They make my dreams came true.
Explore Talent is so amazing. They helped and provide me with auditions every week with the top casting directors and producers. This site is really the thing I've been looking to prove and show my acting skills.
Made the mistake of posting a profile but didn't go through with paying for the VIP yet. I wanted to give it some thought. Commonsense took over thank God and decided to look them up on the BBB. They are not credited which they said they were. That's right the better business bureau they are not credited. And now they are bombarding my phone and driving me absolutely crazy even though I told them I'm not interested anymore. You lied to me once by saying that your accredited business when you're not. If you lie about that you'll lie about other things.
If you can't read this headline... then go ahead and pay your hard working money to individuals agents who can't even speak proper English. No legit agency or agent will ever charge. They are not even SAG franchised for you that doesn't know what that means meaning. They are not legit only sag franchised companies can do what they do and non union work. But just non union is all bull$#*!
You pay to get a paying job yea no. There are much better agencies that will help you for free. I kept getting phone calls from explore talent to buy premium for about 450$. They said I had auditions offered Just need to pay and I'll get in contact with the director. Wtf I'm gonna pay you guys to find a cheap paying job if that's even worth getting. Oh BTW I have a app that tells me where the phone calls come from. A couple from India and China and occasionally europe.
They are illegally using the name, location etc. of one of our clients, obviously without any sort of permission. Our client has never been associated with ExploreTalent. They refuse to answer any of the emails we've sent requesting removal, next step is legal.
This company is a huge scam I no longer wanted to worth with them because it taken them forever to get me a role also the lady I worked with wanted me to do the vip membership but never called didn't help me with my resume nothing then I wanted a refund within time I still yet have seen my 199$ that they owe there lucky I don't sue them this company is bs
I just wanted to say how impressed and satisfied I am with Explore Talent, especially with all of the help I received from Angela. She is absolutely great and wonderful at what she does. I have been picked as one of the models for a fashion show and a commercial for a shampoo. Credits to them, I have this gigs to start my career. I never regret that I signed up with Explore Talent.
So I get a call that my daughter has been chosen by the casting director of the Transformers movie and she is "perfect for the role". After a few phone calls I find out that since her account isn't up to date (and hasn't been for atleast 4 years) then my daughter isn't eligible to audition. I said so you are telling me that if I don't pay to update her profile, then she can't get the audition information? I was told, "that's right". This is Bull! It's all a LIE to get people to spend money they don't have. Please don't fall for their lies.
I believe this company is pretty much a scam. My contact and so called agent never returns my calls and takes Very little interest in me and always says she is busy. No personal attention to me is ever given and made to fell like just another number in their system. Never got the business cards I was promised. I never dreamed I was gonna get calls to be a major star but all they ever do is send me links to the same old ads for movies and TV shows that are supposed to be casting. I thought I would at least get some calls for crowd scenes or extras. I would not recomend them to any one or renew with them,,,,, Phil in Vegas
I've been on this site for awhile now and had been getting phone calls to start work several big name actors/actresses but I needed to be a pro, but I had no money at the time... then a few months later I got another call from them and they said I'd be with Dwayne Johnson and a few other big names in a movie... I looked up the name of the movie and they are making it but I was to get a call within 6 weeks and that was 6 months ago... you might have big dreams but go with someone else for them...
I got major roles in TWO movies since July 7,2006 at Explore Talent. I came back from screentest in Washington, D. C. and was offered major roles in not one, but TWO movies and I am being considered for the LEAD in a third.
I had been booked for a film within one week after the audition. It is so exciting to check onto your site and find out that nearly every day I have been either given gigs for which I can submit myself or better yet, by the time I get the information, you have already submitted me. The best thing about it is that these are not just castings where you are just a barely visible extra if you are lucky. They are quality castings with real credits. Even with an agent, you often times are not going to get this level of activity right from the start.
You are great, how do you do it?! Thank you and Best Regards!
Confused as in why I have submitted hundreds of applications but none really get back to me. I fell for the text about landing a Hollister commercial so I signed up for the $116 plan for 6 months. Never heard anything else about the hollister commercial. I was busy when I called them and mistakenly didn't look them up when I was signing up.
Sign up for ActorsAccess or Backstage if you want to book real jobs! :)
A woman from Explore Talent called and told me that my daughter was pre-selected by a casting director of a specific movie to have an audition, and that he would be calling her within a month to give her a skype audition and sides would be provided, yada yada. But wait, first you have to renew your daughter's account, which I did because I did not realize it had lapsed. This was about 3 weeks ago, and I was told that particular movie had not even started filming, and today I find out that they have wrapped up filming this week. Not only this but my friend, who is an actress, was contacted by them stating that she was the perfect fit for a different big name movie. Guess what... renewal time! Do not give them a dime. I haven't even stated all of the things the told me to do that made it seem like it was for real. There are many legitimate casting websites that my daughter and I both work through. This is not one of them!
So the Reviews that list Explore Talent with 4 stars all have profiles that have given reviews four different companies on the SAME DAY. They are trying to appear like they are getting REAL positive reviews but this TO appears to be fabricated. SiteJabber should investigate these "positive" reviews and shine a light on this company. I too paid 189 for there 6 month service. I'm not mad. Just laughing at myself for getting taken.
I actually paid $299 dollars a couple years ago and nothing happened. I called them and asked them what happen they said I never payed the money I was so upset. I have 3 kids like I'm trying to get money and feed my family not give money to scammers.
The guy originally talked to Percy was very convincing say how much they would help me get an audition. Once I paid the fee it was almost impossible to get any real help. You can log on half the time the other half the site forgets your password. Truly I would not recommend this site to anyone.
I tried it on a whim, not knowing my information went through when I was told it didn't, but I've been charged money every month for a service i don't use or even worked a day at. I want my money back and I'm going to my bank to stop and recover any unauthorized payments to them. Why do you need money for work you never provided, or I had no knowledge of? Two word for this company: PIMPING
I am proud to have signed up with Exploretalent.com and I honestly feel to share my success with them. I'm now a professional model and been having extras on films, this would not be true if it weren't for ExploreTalent. I give my deepest thanks to you.
I like to be open minded, so I tend to read the good AND the bad and make an informed decision from there. The bad all seem to say the same, unsure of where their money is going. The good all seem to say the same, got multiple gigs right off the bat. My only issue with the good reviews is they've all been written by sketchy profiles. Sure, the profiles have multiple reviews, but if you click on them, it's of things like "Google.com: Wow! What a neat site!" written on the same day as all their other reviews. Company trying to boost it's own ratings?
Received a call today from Angela, spoke briefly about available roles I'd fit, and then was hit with the sales pitch. I said the price was a bit steep (for a non-agent) and was immediately hit with a "promotional offer" about 40% less. Said I'd consider, doubt I will.
ExploreTalent has a rating of 2.1 stars from 248 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with ExploreTalent most frequently mention credit card, phone call and complete scam. ExploreTalent ranks 31st among Acting sites.
