My profile expired in 2012 which is why I found it so weird that I got a call from Explore Talent this week saying that casting directors are interested in me for a speaking roll in the new Avengers movie. I was really confused because my information must have been so outdated by then, especially my height, hair, and location, so obviously they didn't know what I even look like anymore even though the guy on the phone insisted that they wanted me specifically. I kept asking for more information about the role/dates/why they wanted ME, but he said he'd have to connect me to the casting directors so he put me on hold. 5 minutes later he gets back on and says my profile expired a long time ago and that in order to log into my account from his computer he'd need to update my membership. I STUPIDLY gave him my credit card info before asking the price of membership renewal. Almost $500 for a 2 year membership. It DEFINITELY wasn't that much when I first got a membership. I told him nevermind, I can't afford it and that I needed to think about it and that I'd call him back later. And at this point it was sounding pretty scammy to me anyways. He was really stubborn and kept saying I'll make back the money in no time with the roll and that he needs a decision right now because the casting directors are waiting (even though I waited all weekend to call him back after his initial voicemail so obviously if they can wait 3 days they can wait another hour) but I said I'm not interested. He said "Okay, fine, I will offer the opportunity to someone else and you are missing out". Stay awayyyy

So I received a voicemail with a woman expressing interest based on my online profile.
I had signed up for a few acting profiles so I decided to give them a call back (in the back of my mind well aware that it was a scam)
The woman was incredibly rushed and the background noise was nearly unbearable resulting in her shouting into the phone.
She gave this whole rundown of how amazing their services were, how much money I could make, an opportunity for a casting call in Palmdale for The Avengers Infinity war. (Red flag number 10 by now)
Palmdale is not far from Los Angeles. So I was incredible skeptical as to why they wouldn't have me go down to LA where most casting calls are.
So basically after this woman babbled on and on she finally gave me the chance to OF COURSE buy a subscription to their services.
When I explained to her that I would not purchase the services without knowing if they actually work she insisted it was the only way I would be cast. That Talent Agencies take a percentage of my money.
I responded saying, look I told you how you were going to get my money, if you don't like that then you don't have to do business with me. She began screaming at me saying that's how talent agencies work and that I am ignorant about the program, which I had googled while she was going on and on earlier in the phone call.
I reiterated that I was not interested in paying for something that I wasn't sure was a set thing and if she wanted my money they would have to offer a free week trial in order to prove the services work.
She then shouts at me that I have no money and hung up.

SIGNED UP FOR THE 7 DAY TRIAL ONLY. THEY TRY TO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO CANCEL THO, BECAUSE THAT'S JUST 1 OTHER WAY HOW THEY MAKE THEIR STOLEN MONEY! I CALLED ASKED THEM TO CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP TRIAL. FIRST OF ALL, EACH TIME I HAD TO CALL, ITS THE SAME INDIAN SOUNDING FEMALE THAT ANSWERS EVERY TIME! OK, SO SHE WILL TRY HARD TO NOT LET YOU CANCEL, THEN SAYS SHE WILL TRANSFER YOU TO AN "SPECIALIST" - NO ONE EVER PICKS UP ANY TIMES!, I CALL BACK, SAME FEMALE ANSWERS. ACTS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE, IF YOU CAN FINALLY GET THIS DANG "MEMBERSHIP" CANCELLED - WELL ITS A HEAD ACHE FIRST OF ALL AND WHEN ITS SUPPOSEDLY CANCELED, YOU GET AN EMAIL ASKING YOU TO CONFIRM AFTER YOU ALREADY HAVE SPECIFIED THAT OVER THE PHONE! SO THEN, YOU CONFIRM TO THAT EMAIL AND WHAT NOW? IT COMES BACK AS UNDELIVERABLE! NEXT, WHEN YOU CALL ABOUT IT, THEY PLACE YOU ON HOLD AGAIN, FROM YES, SAME INDIAN OR WHATEVER FEMALE AND THERE SYSTEM IS ALL JACKED UP, WAS ON HOLD FOR 20 MINS, AND EVERY MINUTE AT LEAST, IT ASKS YOU TO PRESS 1 TO REMAIN IN LINE OR 2 TO LEAVE A MESSAGE! NO ONE EVER ANSWERS! THIS IS A B. S WEBSITE. A WAY TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY, PERSONAL INFO, AND MONEY OBVIOUSLY. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS! IF YOU WANT A REAL PLACE, SEARCH IN YOUR STATE OR NEAR BY STATES FOR AN AGENT! DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST THING! TRUST ME!

I was 16 year old when I first knew about Explore Talent and to tell you the truth has hit a brick wall in the last couple of months. I wasn't getting any audition or traveling to any audition or receiving callbacks. Ever since I joined with Explore Talent, I have been receiving emails and phone calls for auditions almost immediately after I posted my headshot and resume on my page at Explore Talent. Just this week I was able to get one of the auditions and the casting director called me personally and wanted to set me up with a meeting because he said that I had a lot to offer with my looks and experience. If it weren't for Explore Talent giving me such amazing exposure and the amazing way that they are taking care of me, I would never have had such luck. I haven't received any callbacks yet but I have been auditioning in a lot of places and maybe one day I'll get a call. I just wanted to say that Explore Talent was the best decision I had made in the past months. Thank you Explore Talent, this means so much to me.

I GOT A SMALL PART FOR BEING IN A MOVIE! Hi, I have been part of this site as a pro member for less then a month now. I'm very happy to say that I got a Voice Over part in an upcoming movie. The movie will be called "Talk to me dirty". Explore Talent gave me an opportunity to have this kind of chance and I can't THANK YOU guys enough for this happening to me, so Thank you all. I give a big thanks to the person(s) for allowing me to have the chance to have my Voice in the movie. My payment will be my name in the credits and a copy of the dvd. I know this is not much for right now, but let me tell you, this is a huge deal for me and just the start of a great beginning for me to start off my dream career that I've always wanted. To become a successful actress. Thank you so much to everyone out there for letting my dreams come true that much more then what has already come true for me so far. I was called just like all of yous and was told the director wanted me in the movie Baby Driver with Jamie Foxx. He then asked if I was in MMA cuz of my pic which Im not. Lol. When I said let me get a few days so I can get the money he started stuttering and saying that I had to do it at that exact moment when filming wasnt for like a month. Not only that he told me filming was in Chicago and if they changed locations theyd pay my expenses to go to the location but when I looked up the movie it was being filmed in Atlanta. No wonder he wanted me to pay right away! Smh. This Companys a joke. Dont waste your time. Theyre supposedly gonna pay you 8 hundred something a day for the movie if you pay 200? Why doesnt the casting director give them that cut out of your pay if they really want you. Its messed up how they play with peoples dreams. O n he said the same thing to me he said to you guys, give me a sec then it was O, your account needs to be renewed when i never even signed up, N not only that Im sure they know U have to pay b4 they call. Smh

Low and behold EVERYONE is getting the same phone call about their being profile matching roles for the up coming films, Bay Watch staring Zac Efron and Furious 8 with Vin Diesal. I had made an account with this company back in 08, so theres no way that they would think that I still looked like that ( it was an amazing pic and I was pretty hot)so I may have believed him if I still looked like that but seriously that was 8 yrs ago. Anyways I got the same run down about how they could help me with my career... blah blah... the guy was really nice I must say. I did inform him that when I did use the site back then, it did nothing for me. I would submit for anything that I felt was rite for me and I never got called for anything, plus I have been acting for 10 yrs ( I am SAG- AFTRA) and I am also on the production side of the film industry also and told him that I really didnt find their site useful. After a 15 min conversion he finally got around to the whole pricing thing. 3, 2, 1 yr... the lowest being 288 or something. During our talk my phone kept going in and out because I get bad signals in my apt so rite when he was so which one would you like to choice... guess what did you guess my phone crapped out and I lost signal... LMAO. He did call back later and left a message. Oh he did mention that I could check with the Better Business Bureau. Point is I used to use their site with no results, to which its why I stopped using it. I would like to know if anyone has REALLY benefited from using them.
