I think it's a great way to keep in contact with family in friends that don't live in the same state as we do. But as far as privacy there isn't any if there was. There wouldn't be so many child predators on there. Also they are to willing to just give you information away so easily.

I'm actually surprised that in the age of messengers a social network is still popular and used by so many people. But it won't last long. Facebook is old, it works too slow and the recent data leak is just another that it is dying.

Pretty good for keeping in contact with friends and being able to share pictures and videos... although it gets kind of monotonous with posting the same memes over and over again, and the occasionally drama I could do without.

Butler attempted to tell me that my pool light would need to be replaced, wanting me to spend $400. Found out it was just a breaker myself. Also, they came out and did nothing, but then charged me $160. Then my friend had used them, they told him he needed a new pump and other items, found out it was just a pipe that needed to be sealed. They are CROOKS.

One star is too good for facebook. I sell courses and they disapprove my Facebook ads account after claiming multilevel marketing. They never read or responded to my appeal and I despise them greatly. Here is hoping that tiktok takes over and wipes them out

It was our first year buying Christmas materials from this company and they did a good job. Our sales representative was amazing and got our orders in when we ordered them. The materials was good quality and the prices were amazing will definitely be back this year. I highly recommend them! We are a small christmas lights business called Family Christmas Lights.

(there isn't a website, the site made me put something in order to submit the post. The name is Jake Radel's Home and Lawn Care, located in Columbia Missouri).
This piece of trash acts like he is on drugs, cannot properly drive or operate his eyesore of a truck,, uses profane language and creates disturbances on the property of his clientele. This is not someone you want in or around your home or family.

Facebook marketplace is littered with scammers thicker than you would believe. Apparently the scammers on Marketplace are important to Facebook though, as if you are rude to them, they will suspend YOUR account, while allowing the scammers to continue ripping off people. If you are conservative in your thoughts and political party, expect any postings to be deleted because it does not properly align with their Socialistic agenda. Even though Joe Biden is destroying the Country, any negative postings from you will be eliminated.

After much convincing from my friends, I created my first one and only Facebook account yesterday. I logged in without any difficulty. I checked out the site for about 15 minutes and got comfortable filling my profile details and logged off. An hour later I decided to log on and a window pops out asking me for my phone number. For my safety and privacy I refused to give out my phone number to Facebook. I could not log in. Very strange that I started receiving many SPAM emails today. Mostly scammers. I also received an email today stating my account has been suspended and that I have 30 days to request a review. I tried logging into Facebook, to request a review and it asks me for my phone number again. I refused and I cannot log in. Well, if that is the case then I don't need to have any Facebook account.
Tip for consumers:
Do not give out your personal Phone number.

I remember being able to have freedom to say whatever I want. I only have family and friends on my fb and they never have issues of the slang I use. I have no freedom of speech. This application really stinks. I wish Myspace would come back!

I posted a comment that wasn't about bullying hate or anything else. I spoke on real life events that we as color people get treated horribly by police but don't do to armed white people. I stated we show no threat to them and we get shot and killed. But you have people up there hacking and scamming people. There's people making jokes about innocent deceased people but not once will they get restricted for seven days. The person behind Facebook to me is a racist himself because I see white people saying we as color should have gotten killed hurt or etc. But we as color always getting restricted because we speak how we feel about situations like that. Facebook is a joke they've allowed videos of children shooting each other and the video is still viral but I make a comment and I'm restricted to comment and post.

Received a 7 day ban for saying someone should shoot Putin, over the war crimes being committed in the Ukraine. Said I could appeal, to do so I would have to forward a photo, etc, utter bull$#*!. Site is being run by children. Very strange sense of morality. When you compare it to twitter, facebook is for the children, where as twitter is for the adults. The sad part is that a great deal of government services use facebook, which are also banned as a result. Needs federal investigation as to their right to block these services

Facebook is great to stay in tough with your friends latest social activities and to gossip her and there.
At my company we have a facebook fan page. There we got a review from a known internet fraudster who harassed our company. When I reported this review it did disappear from my account. But other facebook users still could see it. Did facebook try to placate me?
I contacted facefook in hopes they would remove this slander from our fan page. But my hopes where in vain. I reported and reported, got case numbers which were closed and closed. The grievance officer who was assigned appeared to be more of an automaton than a human. Sadly, I lost hours of work and got very frustrated.
This is sad because facebook is a great site. I wished they would listen to grievances. Therefore only 3 stars.

Advantage is to keep in touch with good friends you can't see a lot. Disadvantage is to add and accept people who are not friends and will never be. So the page is most commonly a watered down page, which looks more like an advertisement for parts of your more superficial soul, with a scattering of one or two contributions from real friends. Twitter goes to the other extreme however and as a result it is more like a slambook and headline-rolling device... and I can't use a site like that. In general I say that any social networking site reminds us that looking through this monitor-glass darkly, or brightly, or multi-colored-ly... is a terrible (in all that word's dire implications) substitute for squeezing all the juice out of life that we can, and when to suck on the inner skin, and then knowing when to throw the rinds in the compost pile;=)

Reporting issues since before COVID and no help whatsoever. They say I am at 5000 friends but neither of the two places you can find your number of friends equals 5000 or each other. It started well, but Facebook is mostly garbage content and bots now.

I'll change my rating and review when things improve.
When I first joined the site (and by extension, got the app), the site was pretty cool and I mostly made a profile so I could play games (this was back in 2012) but that was before I figured out it could be a good way to stay in contact with people from my past (I was reunited with a sister through Facebook). It seemed like a pretty fun place.
Now, onto the negatives. Besides the privacy concerns, the site (or, rather, the app) has gotten to be more buggy and it keeps getting buggier and buggier with each new change. Adding onto this, we have the issue of the mods not doing anything about hateful/abusive posts, spam posts, or the CP, let alone, the hackers, among other issues.
Look, it could be a nice site but, unfortunately, the landscape has changed since I first joined.

I had one FB account for over 12 years and they decided to disable my account because they didn't agree with my political views and didn't even give me a chance to appeal, but only said I violated community standards because of how I believed politically! The second account I used was my middle name and maiden name and only posted pet's needing help and stayed under the radar and didn't post anything political! Well, this week, they disabled my account for violating community standards! Violating what community standards? I only posted posts about pet's needing help! How does that violate anything! I can't even appeal that account as well! Can't even plead my case and ask what the heck I did on my 2nd legal account! FB has totally gone to full blown communism and they restrict our 1st amendment rights and freedom to assemble with like minded people! They need to be sued and shut down forever! Oh, and their fact checkers are bias too!

Nassib is an amazing Dj, he is very professional and he knows his trade. He took the time to know our preference and delivered on our wedding day. He also took note of the crowd, he kept the day moving and everyone enjoyed themselves. He`s very pleasant, approachable, and responsible. Would highly recommend him for your next event! We will always be loyal customers

Well, advertising with facebook is not a bad thing but I won't really recommend. The algorithm isn't that smart to show your ads to the people that need it and might end up been shown to your close friends, people that are probably in the same business you're trying to advertise. 6/10. There are better services out there but it isn't the worse.

Don't buy any game credits on this site. They will keep charging your account endlessly without authorization from u because they have your info. Paid$5 for credits for my 5 yr old granddaughter and and because she bought pets instead of using the credits they took money out of my account. I am now overdrawn $1014 so far. They save your info and just keep charging u.

Facebook is a social network developed by Mark Zuckerburg ( watch the Social Network for details). The website allows you to befriend people who you know and don't know. When you sign up, it asks you about things you like, what your name is, and further information. Facebook is notorious for identity thefts and cyber bullying. I personally don't think a kid should use it until they are 13 and responsible. On facebook you can befriend ANYONE you want. Once someone befriends you, you get the ability to chat with that person. That's the dangerous part, a child could be speaking with an older man rather than who they believe it is. I have no bad experiences, facebook is good... as long as you know how to use it properly.

Every entrepreneur at some point hires an SEO, PPC (pay-per-click) or SMM (social media marketing) expert -- which generally means an agency or freelancer. But money is tight, so how do startups evaluate whether the candidates they're considering offer reasonable rates? Is gut instinct enough?
