The Facebook interface feels a bit outdated and clunky compared to newer social media platforms. It could benefit from a refresh. I'm always a little worried about my privacy on Facebook. There have been a lot of data breaches and privacy scandals in the past, which makes me hesitate to share too much personal information.
Facebook groups should never exist the algorithm is terrible and people downgrade others in some of the groups and get away with it. Facebook doesn't do anything about scam, spam and hackers but if a user post something facebook dislikes they get restricted. Facebook used to be a good way to connect with others but many misuse the platform
There are so many scammers on facebook with fake profiles. A woman messaged me on facebook and we got talking, she asked if I had hangout and told me it's better to chat there. We got talking, exchanged numbers and was so fond of each other. 2 weeks later she started asking for money, I believed the reason why she wanted the money then sent to her, A week later another reason why she needed another money and she kept asking until I became suspicious and had to do some investigations about her. I hired a private investigator who deals with recovery of scammed money who found out she wasn't real and was faking to be who she claimed she is. I felt stupid and told him to recover my money. He successfully recovered my money and made sure her account on facebook got deleted. We all need to be careful of the friend request we get and chat with on facebook. I posted a thread on facebook on 4 November 2021 referencing articles from mainstream sources that warned of the dangers of the COVID19 "vaccine."
Facebook claims to be a "neutral platform" where everyone can publicly express their concerns. Too many people believe that claim. In reality, facebook is a propaganda machine of the corrupt political elite to try to keep that elite in power.
Facebook censored my thread there on 10 January 2022, two months after it was first posted, and just when it was starting to get exposure and when it started including references from government websites that directly contradict the government's fraudulent claims of COVID19 being a "pandemic." Facebook can't claim it only became aware of my thread on 10 January 2022 since, within 3 days of my having originally posted my thread there, facebook pasted the following sticky on it: "Visit the COVID-19 Information Center for vaccine resources."
Facebook's censorship tactics are far more deceitful than even twitter's, since twitter flat out censor's you whereas facebook censors you only when your posts gain awareness, the obvious intent of that being to dupe people at first sight into falsely and dangerously believing that "facebook is an open and neutral platform." Facebook needs to lose its Section 230 shield so it can be sued as a publisher and held accountable for its censorship. It's obviously not the "neutral platform" that Section 230 requires.

Your phone number don't work. Never does. Your not available never. Your email don't even work never calls back or emails you guys don't. You let stalkers online such as katelynn michelle fultz. Let Ohio people on there and never take their profile down like Katelynn. Help center don't work either never works tried it and you all don't do your part on your end. Because if you did her account the biggest poser and stalker who created fake accounts and fake pages of me and doesn't want to say sorry for it or take accountable, but threaten to call the cops enough to take her account down, and Amanda Webb. You won't. Not doing your job. Let stalkers and harasser continue. Never banned them. Still let them blackmail. Still don't do $#*! about it. Still let victims be attacked. Same with celebrities too. You think this is fair. Its not. The fact that you Facebook also take her side as well. When she lies so bad then gaslights then flips the story around making herself look like the good gut same with Amanda webb. This is not right but you won't take accountability to take their profile down. So for that while not doing your job right. I'm out. You lost a costumer. Failing peoples lives Facebook goodbye good riddance.

I joined Facebook back in June/July of this year 2020. I joined to simply share photographs with family & friends. I never posted a single item to my timeline and my Facebook page was public. After 20+ hours of posting and archiving photographs to my albums section, my account was randomly disabled after only 3-4 weeks of being a member. I was asked to verify my account and uploaded a picture of my face to do so. My account was not reactivated. I challenged this decision and was asked to verify my account again. This time I uploaded a scan of my active vehicle license. Again, my account was not reactivated and this time it was permanently disabled. I tried to contact Facebook's customer service but soon realized, Facebook does not offer customer service. I can not think of any LEGITIMATE business, that does not offer customer service. Especially one with revenue in the billions. By failing to provide customer service Facebook eliminates any and all accountability for their actions. Clearly Facebook does not care about their site patrons and only exists to further their private agenda/s. I am not surprised however, since Facebook was built on the lies, deceit and treachery of Mark Zuckerberg...

Facebook started as a very exclusive club limited to college kids; now, the social site is open to all (though users must be at least 13 years old to join). Once a member, you can choose to join one or more "networks" -- a constellation of people at your school, your job, or in your region. When you join a network, others in that network can read your profile if you want them to. You can join "groups" that form around a common interest, like a band or a hobby. Users create profiles of themselves: interests, schools attended, political views, and more. You can choose to let only your friends (or certain friends) see your profile, allow only people in your networks to view it, or opt to have no limits at all. Users post photos to their online albums, send messages to one another, scribble notes on each other's "walls," and send "gifts" (icons that cost $1 after the first free one). There's also "The Marketplace," which allows members to post and search classifieds. An IM function is coming soon.
Facebook is a great place for keeping in touch with friends and making new ones. The interface is bright and inviting and makes it a snap to share thoughts, photos, links, videos and more in a constantly updated news feed. As with any open social networking site, kids can easily lie about their ages to join Facebook -- and then post dodgy stuff that could haunt them later. The good news is Facebook's new safeguard for minors, which at least blocks kids' posts from showing up on the Internet. On the downside, Facebook now makes more of a user's profile info publicly available. It's up to users to painstakingly tweak settings to hide this info.
