“Neutral - Outdated Interface”

Bruce J.
6/10/24

The Facebook interface feels a bit outdated and clunky compared to newer social media platforms. It could benefit from a refresh. I'm always a little worried about my privacy on Facebook. There have been a lot of data breaches and privacy scandals in the past, which makes me hesitate to share too much personal information.

Top Critical Review

“Groups”

Lottie H.
10/27/24

Facebook groups should never exist the algorithm is terrible and people downgrade others in some of the groups and get away with it. Facebook doesn't do anything about scam, spam and hackers but if a user post something facebook dislikes they get restricted. Facebook used to be a good way to connect with others but many misuse the platform

I've registered to facebook a long time ago and to be honest I've barely used it. It's really only suitable for self-absorbed narcissists who only care about themselves and just want to boost their ego. But it's not all about that, the experience really depends on what you want from the site. You are free to "unfollow" people to keep their posts from your feed while still staying friends with them to keep up appearances. A lot of companies use facebook for marketing purposes but its sometimes worthwhile to follow them if you are really interested in some specific thing. I personally use facebook mainly as a way to find nearby events or concerts. It lets you see which of your friends are interested in these events so if you're an outgoing person it gives you options for finding a nice weekend activity. Also the mobile messenger app is quite good with some goofy features. Overall the experience of Facebook really depends on you personally. Just don't obsess over it too much.

We can all look like we've lots of friends and activities on Facebook, but it's all lies and majority of them are click baits and advertisements. They flood your timeline and you can't do anything about it

A very unsafe place to be. They censor people based on political views, they have closed accounts that talked about election fraud based on THEIR fact checkers and ''misinformation''. They do not respect the USA Constitution.

So after I commented on a post, My Facebook profile was disabled. Now they are demanding to upload my another photo so that they can verify who I am. What the $#*! is wrong with you dumbasses...
Look at facebook, There are a lot of people who comment violently, they abuse in comments and I just simply report those comments and what facebook support team, "Dear XYZ, We have reviewed your request and didn't find anything wrong." I don't know what's wrong with this creepy $#*!ty social network. There are a lot of fake ids and facebook doesn't give a damn about those.

Dear Facebook, Your days are gone. You are about to die. RIP Facebook. Bye forever.
For People, Please stay away and find something different, Even Twitter is better than Facebook.

Best advice I can give those trying to purchase an ID is to review the FAQ and photo taking guidelines. You do not want to have an ID ruined by a bad photo. I used those and got a Texas ID and it turned out great. Been using it for a couple months. Thanks again.

A warm and friendly environment to get parenting advice - I love Circle of Moms. The women on the site are so warm and supportive. I can see where they are from and how old their children are so I know whether or not their advice is good! Wonderful!

Jacqueline Taylor - A Local Beautician did my wife's hair and makeup for my wedding day and as well as her bridesmaids and did a great job! I was very impressed with her professionalism and her assistance as well was a great help. Loved her down to earth and open mind and she worked well with what everyone wanted done and also helped others work around things to make them happy with there final looks. She also stayed to help with all the final touches with decorating the ceremony at her will. Definitely would love to have her closer to home for my friends and wife

I have never seen such gorgeous jewelry at such a low low price! Why buy the real diamonds with the elegance this jewelry portrays! Then the jewelry to be place in a small jewelry box is over the top! Thanks for making my day! Such a wonderful surprise!

Requested a cleaner for deep clean on floors and general cleaning. Was contacted by East Midlands Cleaning service, really friendly, clear on service & price and very easy to deal with.
The cleaner did a fab job and she used her own initiative to even clean the extra little things and equipment. Have now rebooked for a weekly service and would definitely recommend them.

Censorship constantly. Support Communism. Bans and removes post that they do not like and the fake checkers working for them are ALL Liberal supported.
Fakebook is not a social media site, It is a propaganda machine for the liberals and china
If you post any thing that is true facebook will flag it/remove it/ and or toss you in jail for speaking the truth

Tip for consumers:
Avoid fakebook. Nothing but false news and propaganda.

Products used:
so -called social network. Turns out it is a liberal communist network

Facebook is good for people who are looking for old friends, providing their friends have a facebook page. It also a good site to show off your family pictures and actually meet new friends. So try it out and have fun! At times it can also get a little gossipy causin problems between people because of sending messages, but different strokes for different folks>

Facebook has tried to tout that they let people express themselves freely, such as pedophiles having groups and posting on FB and allowing individuals to degrade women and POC. But when you don't agree with what they think then they'll dictate and rule over you as a dictator does.

Sometimes the incredible dishonesty of a company just makes you want to gag.
After 3 years of mediocre service and Hughes techs telling me I needed to buy more time eventually paying $3100 pesos for supposedly 50G, we had a hurricane and were closed three weeks. When I called for service, they said we had used up all our time, and we needed to buy "tokens". It was and had been a scam. When I posted on social media and consumer sites, they punished me dropping service to. 01 GB. I ordered Starlink, received the package in 10 days, and installed it in an hour. Now instead of 3-4 MGPBS, we are getting 180-220 with no limits. I now pay $2200 pesos monthly. When I called Hughes to cancel, the accountant Abby Perez told me I had to pay for the previous month. Since I always paid monthly in advance, this was another attempted scam.

Tip for consumers:
Do09 not believe their techs when they tell nyou you need to buy more time (tokens).

Used to love Facebook, until the changes that started with their removing the bottom navigation bar. Timeline killed it a bit more, and now you have to pay to make sure all your Page's likers see your posts. Working on switching to G+.

Facebook is crap the will let anyone make a Facebook page selling sex and prostitution and let people post videos of someone killing themselve but if you say post a comment that has the word death or kill they give you a 30 day ban as well as if you post a picture that shows even a small portion of a woman's breast in an adults only group

The community standards are a joke. My mate got reported and a post taken down, because it showed how someone's budget, income and the rise in cost of living, left him with no expendable income. That violates their community standards. However, a trans woman shouted at me for being a white male, made assumptions about my background and verbally abused me with hate speech, I reported it but it does not go against the comunity standards. Not to mention the animal and child abuse that is prevelent, which does not get taken down. They protect abusers and silence the innocent

I literally got out in FB jail for no reason, nothing was explained, accept it was a picture of my savannah cat! Some of these banned are not explained! I had a friend banned for a picture of her special needs daughter dancing, one of her grandkids. Another FB friend was jailed for a picture of her kittens.

Your Facebook should be able to include your favorite people, pets, or whatever you are into. Facebook is taking people 's interests and censoring their beliefs, if they are not align with theirs

What is sick, is there are pages of young children in sexy poses is allowed to exist and Facebook does nothing. This is sick and disgusting! Facebook has become toxic and gross!

First of all - why should anyone want to meet with friends online, if he/she can have soo much more fun with them offline? But that's a matter of personal choice, of course.
I would like to stress one of the most important flaws of FB (which is a flaw of any social network as well), and that is a lack of privacy.
They don't respect it, they misuse your personal data, they sell them, rent them, target you with 1k of spams, etc., etc.
Remember - FB is not a charity, but a business. And as such, it's value lies in it's user base, e.g. member info. That's why they don't care much of your privacy concerns, but they care only about the mighty $$$.
So, my advice is - don't go on FB, but meet friends in a bar, club, or anywhere else.
But if you do go to FB, make sure to use the disposable email address.

This is a great game that costs you nothing to play unless you want to buy more "gold". It is part of the Facebook Games and you must have a facebook page to play but it is well worth the effort of signing up for facebook if you haven't already!

It is a threefold experience in that you try and find objects "hidden" in scenes, try to fix paradoxes (which is that two pictures are not alike and you have to find the missing articles) and you plan an elaborate Garden with the "winnings" you have earned. Fun, good brain exercises and a chance to be creative and all without messy popups, begging for money, or other annoying things other sites seem to have to have if for free. The graphics are really nice and the music is soothing, check it out. It helps to have a few friends play also as they can help you in your "quests".

I have now started referring to them as fascistbook. The last straw was a posting I made about an OSHA expert and what he wrote about the dangers of masks and their ineffectiveness. Within 2-3 seconds I got a warning from them saying they will not post it because it is misinformation. We know it is simply algorithms targeting keywords. They don't want the truth out.

Facebook allows China to post fraudulent ads and take advantage of us. Facebook allow pages to be hacked. You can prove your identity but they wait until the hacker is finished fauding your friends before they allow you to take your page back.

Sat with Will to discuss getting into a leased vehicle.
With him knowing that we are both retired with fixed income.
We discussed the Ford Escape.
Came to terms that fit into our budget and has all the options we were looking for.
Will recommend the dealership and Will to our close friends and family.

I post comments, and I get a lot of offensive replies. I am trying to be nice, but I am called a dump. Then I call them names and get blocked by Facebook. This means Facebook is a garbage company, not reliable in good judgment.
