So far I have only used this app (or started too) two times. It seems like a helpful app and It can really give you good insight on what you may need for buying a home or refinancing your home, but after I use it in a little bit more depth, I Ll come back and give a better review!
Not bringing a basket of qualified lenders but a punch of lenders that are associated with your marketing program
I did not receive information or an estimated dollar amount on potential mortgage payment savings. Instead, I got three lender links and mysterious, but obvious sales call afterwards. I could have googled that crap and made calls myself, had I known that Fetharate would only provide this extremely small amount of guidance or information. I was curious, but no further steps will be taken since your ad is not transparently honest. Have a great day and please lose my information. Thanks in advance.
Makes me feel low self esteem and doesn't take into account that in March 2020 I had emergency open heart surgery quadruple artery bypass and hospitalized for 7 1/2 months without a phone and then unable to work for 1 year. Also lost my courier service due to Covid and my salary.
Hoping to get some Federal program to help me out. I’m now 70 years old and have lost almost everything. My life was wonderful prior to March 2020. I lived comfortably and paid all my debts on a monthly basis on time. Never expected my life would be in the basement or even underneath. Had to use my entire retirement funds to sustain myself. Now I have very little and my credit score slid from 750 to 510 presently. I need some financial assistance!
Too many phone calls the minute I clicked the results button. It's a real shame that in situations like this the general public is very put off by the immediate " hounding" from telemarketers trying to get a jump on landing a new customer. If these companies could just provide people with the information, let them QUIETLY review the data from 3 or so companies in the privacy of their own home and then let us choose who we would like to continue the conversation with. Pushy sales is just that-Pushy. And people don't like it, ever. I will keep looking for a lender on my own because of these very tactics.
I knew better but was hoping this time would be different. I wanted solid information to be reviewed at my own pace. Instead, the minute I clicked the results button, the phone started ringing immediately. So I turned off the ringer and will continue to look for what is right for me. Also, on the questionnaire your choices are incomplete. I don't have a mortgage, I own my property outright. I was interested in pulling out some cash for some upcoming medical expenses.
I don't have any complaints other than your speaker talks too fast and the words run together. Jokingly I told him people in Ky listen slow. He was fine. Sounds like this is something I will be interested in. I'm not promising for sure. I have other choices. Thank you. OFELIA
I was just inquiring. Nothing definite. I have other choices.
Flase information, Website says no email and phone number required. Finally you share the information of other private mortgage lenders. I request and recommend not to waste your time and effort. This is a fraudulent company.
Its my mistake
You always advertise all this too good to be true info and you come across as being able to help anyone so when I select major credit issues there's no lender out there that meets the criteria in helping what you call " poor credit barrowers, and that is misleading. Not everyone is a reflection of their credit report.
In hopes of getting into a home and have security
Bait and switch tactics, Do not release my info to any one, My phone has already gone off 3 times in five minutes. Might be worth it if it showed rates and not more advertising and to call them. Importunely I will have tons of unwanted solicitors calling me now and More crap emails. Thanks for the pain your site has created.
Impulse, bad impulse!
Fetcharate does not actually offer any rates. It funnels you through an information chain not specific to VA, and at the end gives a pile of possible lenders with possible rates. It is useless. I can do that on my own.
Was suppose to show VA refinance rates
No where did it state that by filling out this information did it say lenders will contact me. I don't want them to contact me. I will spam their email and I luckily put in a fake phone number. The internet is just ridiculous now. I wanted to see rates for my area. Not talk or get emails from anyone. Shame on you fetcharate. I will be sharing this with my thousands of followers.
I can not deal with this right now, it is 3:54AM here and I just happen to be awake and picked up my phone and saw your ad. Can they call me tomorrow. I am a very young 89 years old, live alone, do my shopping drive wherever I want, take care of myself
Just happen to see their ad and I just got a bank loan and the interest rate was more than I wanted to pay, thought maybe you could help
It doesn't say if we qualify for the government program. Just lists lenders which I can Google or research myself. Feels a little like false advertising or a scam to get my info. I dread all the new spam calls and texts I will know receive. I tried to give 2 stars but it wouldn't let me!
Due to an article stating government grant/assistance to lower mortgage payment by up to $350 and interest rate of 2%
Where is the $ amnt qualified for that was said would be shown after going thru your?'s? Said nothing about 'getting called' or having to wait for calls. Don't want calls, wanted info promised first, then decide IF I chose to call about possible loan.
My Mom is 95 yrs. Old She had 2 strokes last summer. She ask me to come stay with her at her old badly deterriating home, to care for her. I locked my door, & went. My home got repeatedly broken into, nothing worth taking was stolen. Then they trashed it so terribly bad. I had no ins. We are desperately needing a good home to live in. We have our bills mostly tied up in medical bills for Mom. We are very desperate for a good heating, & cooling home. We hardly can go. So a nicely built, comfortable, roomy home would be a blessing to us both. Thank you.
I'm *very* interested in refinancing, but within about a minute — no joke! — of submitting my request, I received offers!
I'm not sure I want a bombardment (and that's what it will soon feel like!)
However, I'll continue to look into this. I DO need a measure of relief.
Thanks very much. I look forward to hearing from you, Stephanie.

So far it sounds mighty interesting & tempting because as a single aged near retirement aged man who is faced with mulitiple home repair issues etc. it moves me to cash in on the home's potential to be repaired & sell. At 59 years of age, I aspire to witness a beautiful renovation of my childhood home, the property improved & a new happy family ready to embark upon the solitude of good country living near a gorgeous lake & breathtaking scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains move in it.
The ad was very appealing & it’s presentation captured my attraction & imagination. I would love to see if there is a possible endeavor awaiting for me to seek.
The same time I hit enter I received a phone call from Rocket Lending. I did not complete this questionnaire to be hassled by phone calls or e-mails. I wish you all would stop that and just give the information requested on the e-mail and let the person decide if they want to, to contact the lenders. REALLY!
I was brought to the site for a government program. I'll see any government program and I've already dealt with these refinance companies that you're leaving me too. And they cannot provide me the service I'm looking for. This is misleading and false advertisement.
Because I was led to the site to show me a government program for refinance
Good very fast process. Hopefully I am able to get the help that I need to get a home of my own it's been lonely out here for the last 4 years 2 years 3 years after having my identity stolen so thank you
I was sending email and I decided try this one maybe this one will be there good one so we'll see thank you
Why do you always have to leave your phone number? Text me and give me a ballpark interest rate and I might be interested. Invade my life with repetitive phone calls and since I am very nearly deaf, it is a waste of your time and mine.
It looked like it might be interesting, but instead it's just invasive.
No rates given after giving you my information. Note I'm going to be inundated with advertising with no information to evaluate whether or not I'm interested. I'll just have to deleteand down all the ads that come in without opening. This inquiry now created problems for me to solve, sorry guys! I am sure you are well intentioned but now I have a lot of future waited time with no benefit
This is a bait and switch add, designed to get my info and sending me refinance rates that are higher. You do not show what I qualify for only a bunch of lenders that are going to hound me. Try letting the consumer decide what they want to do by actually giving the information you lead them to believe they will get.
I thought get get information to help me make a decision on a possible refinance. I was wrong
I didn't know this was a gimmick to match us up to a refinance company. You falsely advertised that the government has money for us that we didn't know about that can help us remodel our house or pay off our debt as senior citizens or have $500 a month to help us with the mortgage. We already have an excellent loan company and a very low interest rate. We don't want any one contacting us.
We didn’t know we were contacting fetcharate. We have never heard of you and don’t want any one contacting us. Read my answer above.
Before I finished your application my phone was ringing. It was one of your lenders. That's ridiculous. I thought you could just give me a yes/no answer online. If it was yes, I would consider finding out more about the offer. If it was no, I would just finish out the term of my current mortgage. What on earth made me think this would be easy? Please, for the love of God, don't give my name to a bunch of companies who will hound me until death,
I really don't know. I must be crazy. One day recently I had 28 phone calls trying to sell me a car warranty, donate to breast cancer, change my supplemental health policy. Now I have just added more. Take me off your list. I won't listen. I will either sing opera, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, or give my testimony about my relationship with Jesus. And I mean it.
I hate that before iam even done filling out all the info someone is calling. Now how many times will they call?. When I feel like it's pushy I'll block it I'll turn my phone off I may even break it. Thank you.
A scam to get lenders to call. Site advertises payoffs, government programs etc... just another version of telemarketing to bother you. Sorry I participated... now I have to endure countless calls and emails.
False promises
