Signed up and the same day they had free one hour platinum membership benefits. Talked with 3 girls got their info on skype. Video chat with all three and they were true to their profile. All three are very poor. I really liked 2 out of three. We have been talking on skype. One has 6 years old kid and other has 5! Months old kid. They both want to meet me. So I am going there for a month and stay with my cousin. I am gonna meet both of them for 2 weeks each. Will decide after that. I told both to not ask for money right on first day. They didn't. It's been 6 months. Will update to let you all know what happened next.
Bought a suscription for 3 months and i'm out in less of a month, as the ttle says; Business oriented 100% on milk western man, be prepared to lose a lot of time in the process of being tricked with dramas, emergencies, lies, scripts made to end up asking for money sooner or later. Poor you if you are a good person, looking for real love, be careful. Philippine women are wonderful ones but not in these places where they have done a cruel business with foreigners.
At least 90% of the profiles are just bots. Doesn't look like they monitor it at all. You also get fished in to buying a subscription because you can't see messages from other people until you do, and once you do you realize you've just been bombarded by bots and you've paid a subscription fee to see their messages.
Please do not subscribe to this site.

And, we did. My wife and I met almost two years ago on the site. We were serious about our intentions and dating long distance without money exchanges. I then surprised her almost a year into dating with a visit and engagement ring! Almost two years later, our visa petition was approved and we were married. Here's the key, I was up front and fast about my intentions to marry an honest woman. I was particular about the small selection of women I messaged first. I listened and shared with my choose fiancee and shut down my page. She shut her page down. We agreed to date exclusively with the intent to marry. We kept our word and bonded with one another. Now, she's my wife and we are looking forward to children soon. We knew what we wanted and were willing to work toward it together. We built and cultivated a relationship.

Signed up, paid up for their Platinum service & promptly my membership was suspended without any explanation. I sent several emails and attempted to phone their office in Australia ( which just rings out or goes to an answering service) but Cupid Media never replied, refunded or re-instated my account and eventually I had to claim the money back via my credit card as a chargeback.
Strongly recommend that you do not have any dealings with this firm.

Somebodys(probably angry young Asian males) are constantly putting up fake profiles (using jpegs of beautiful Chinese women). It's been going on for years and FC does little or nothing to police the problem. If you've been on the site a while you can begin to see the patterns. Why do they do it? Jealousy(towards white males). Anger. Low-self esteem. Too much time on their hands. I would NEVER join this site. Easily the worst Asian dating site out there.

This site isn't a scam but ideally you need to be in the Philippines to use it.
Over the last few months, I've noticed a drop off in the quality of women and response rate. In addition many women who meet up try to run game on you or scam you for food or money. A lot more slumdogs are prevalent.
This isn't to say that you still can't find sex or meaningful relationships on the site but FC has declined for sure unless you know what you are doing.

1 star because of the AUTO RENEW... If you sign up for 1 month on this site, be sure to go through the settings on your account page and turn OFF auto renew membership. These guys have been charging my credit card for the last 4 months that I wasn't aware of. I'm currently asking for a refund but not having much luck as of yet. Will post an update if I succeed.

I have used this site to connect with Filipinos (as in guys). There are many scammers who use this site but in amongst the scammers I have found a number of genuine guys. You just have to exercise caution and, as the site advises, don't send money to anyone you have not met in person. Well I would advise don't send money to anyone you haven't communicated with for several months and even then, if you chose to do so, only send small amounts. If they persistently keep asking for more stop communicating. I have paid for a monthly subscription on a few occasions and never had any issues with cancelling the subscription. But it is an automatic renewal subscription so you must physically cancel in via the website. I use this site and I like this site.

On the site there are many scammers. Fake profiles. Gold diggers. I think you should look at the couples that have been successful in finding each other using this dating site. It is up to to you to find the real women or men on this site. I was successful like so many other couples.

I put my profile & good photos on the site, 2 years ago. I was contacted by many ladies. Most did not even see or even read my profile. I never paid for membership. The site gave me for free the opportunity to read the messages sent by the ladies. One lady read my profile & found my e-mail address. Sent me a e-mail to check if I was real & the next e-mail requested we go on Skype. We ended up on Skype for over 2 hours. Daily for many hours over a period of over a year & half. She was working in Saudi Arabia on a 2 year contract as a Teacher. We feel in love online. I am living with my partner in the home she owns in the Philippines. We wish to thank FilipinoCupid for helping us to get together. I am a 62 year old Teacher retired British white man. My partner is 41 years old. Be aware filipina ladies do not care about age. I am very sure with effort you would find a lady on the cupid website. Stop thinking they are all scammers. Just detect them and move on to the real ladies looking for a partner, Never send money to any lady. Build your relationship. A filipina really in love with you is easy to detect. Dont waste your time with this site it is just scammers on there, i guarantee once the girl has you on whats app within 15 to 20 minutes she will be selling you a sob story about phone rent computer electricity. They start at a small amount say 3k to suck you in naturally via pay pal then before the money has even cooled in their account they will say that the actually need 10k and so it goes on every other day. It is better to go to the philippines in person and search there. The web site dont care they have there money.

Please do not generalize that all filipinas are bad. We also get lots of scammers, perverts and all kinds of weirdos. We just have to be careful in figuring who to talk to... if a filipina asks for money for whatever reason, you beware... same goes for males sending us packages and then asking us to pay for the taxes... or asking to send nude photos or go naked shows on cam... i have a US multipile visa, i have travelled, never asked for money, have been loyal etc etc etc and yet my prince is still lost and cant find me... but i dont want to stop this from hoping that somewhere, he is out there trying to get the right directions... let us not lose hope, just be careful.

I signed up for a one month subscription and immediately turned off the automatic renewal feature. A few weeks later I checked again to verify that automatic renewal was turned off. I was leaving the Philippines on the date that my subscription was to expire. When I got home I checked my card statement and found that I had been charged for another month.
I sent an e-mail notifying them of their "mistake" but they just sent a form letter back stating that they could not verify what I told them. Apparently this happens to a lot of people. I asked them to remove my card info from their system and they refused to reply to that request.
My advice is to avoid this site.

The moment I signed up for this website and paid for a membership, they suspended my account and demanded that I send them a photo copy of my credit card both front and back as well as a photo copy of my drivers license, both front and back. Until then, my account was suspended and not able to sign on. Do not use this website, I do not trust them after how I was treated. Who asks for a copy of your drivers license, copy of your credit card and other personal identity information. None of this was mentioned prior to paying for a membership. I wrote an email to get my money back and will post more later. I would not sign up with this website as they continually ask for more and more personal Identification information. No other company has ever asked for such personal information and I would warn all to stay away from FilipinoCupid.

As others have comments, the FC company seems to be loading a lot of fakes to lure users. There are some real people as well but even the real people have a real mix of pictures... be careful and be very cautious before you spend any money here

Four months after canceling Cupid they tried changing my card again and I had a escort service trying to charge my card from Philippines
Cupid was the only one to have my card info. Not to mention all the scammers on the site. I will never use Cupid again.

I am girl searching in FC for the right guy in my life for how many months. But my expeirence is different because lot's of guys there think that all girls are scammer and a cam show girl. Some of them are also using fake profile, they will message you a sweet message at first and will tell you he likes you and interest with you but then in the end will ask you about the cam show, well all i can say is not every girl in dating site is scammer and doing a cam show.

Lots of the people are not replying. And when they reply, they will start asking you stuffs first before they start to threaten to block you off.
Not to mention that you can't do anything unless you pay. No, they don't even give you a 5 minute trial to be able to do stuffs.

Most of the members are just terrible/ low class women.
Most women on this site are very very racist.
And most of them are scammers.

I would recommend the site. You have to be very careful on the site. It's best initially to establish a few friends or contacts on the site. Over a week or two on the site you will see that many of the people who first contacted you have been removed from the site. I believe roughly 20 people who contacted me were removed from the site. Once you weed out the bad ones then it's time to talk to the people you have an established on site relationship with. After all what's the rush anyway. Have fun and good luck.

I suggest let a member couldn't pay for membership verifies their identity to have an account. Otherwise don't let them in.
In this way lesser scammers both man and woman. And the newbies might thought this much more secure to getting in seeking their other half.

If you read most of the reviews below, most identify scammers seeking money as being a reflection of the website. This is nieve. It is rather a reflection of the nature of the people indigenous to the country. This is a country where the majority of parents teach their children to constantly scream " give me money" to every foreigner. It's not the fault of the website. The website cannot change the over riding character of a nation of people. There are some genuine women on the website. If you chat with one thousand reasonably attractive girls, you are likely to encounter at least one. No one promised that life would be easy, hence the reason you are on the website.
