Signed up and the same day they had free one hour platinum membership benefits. Talked with 3 girls got their info on skype. Video chat with all three and they were true to their profile. All three are very poor. I really liked 2 out of three. We have been talking on skype. One has 6 years old kid and other has 5! Months old kid. They both want to meet me. So I am going there for a month and stay with my cousin. I am gonna meet both of them for 2 weeks each. Will decide after that. I told both to not ask for money right on first day. They didn't. It's been 6 months. Will update to let you all know what happened next.
Bought a suscription for 3 months and i'm out in less of a month, as the ttle says; Business oriented 100% on milk western man, be prepared to lose a lot of time in the process of being tricked with dramas, emergencies, lies, scripts made to end up asking for money sooner or later. Poor you if you are a good person, looking for real love, be careful. Philippine women are wonderful ones but not in these places where they have done a cruel business with foreigners.
Found out that a individual used my girlfriends photos for a fake listing on both Filipino Cupid and Asian Dating. I contacted the website company to ask them to remove these listings and/or have this individual who run also additional profiles in order to generate money because, she is actually married. The website company has done nothing to remove the listings that has my girlfriends photos so, therefore I will now warn everybody for listings from Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines

Asking for money, to travel to you, but of course never shows up or has 2000 different excuses. Keep chats on the Filipino site. Tehn you have eventual evidence and the site can lock them down. If you give them whatsapp, skype or whatever outside their platform, its going to be hard to prove. Keep coms on their platform, untill you know the person.

I received hundreds of messages during the first couple of days when I registered. It turned out not a single message was written by a user, the girls just send messages generated by the system and these messages are a huge turn off, because they are imperonal and mostly say I like your picture7 or You're cute or some nonsense like that. Then I checked how many of them actually checked my profile, and it turned out maybe 8 or 9 out of 300. So these women just randomly send texts to everybody. I believe a few people found their mates there, but it onviously takes a lot of scam-filtering.

You have be careful using this website there are too many fake and scammers on it. I sign up for 12 months and all those fake profile I reported and ask for money or asking me to sign up to another website still remains.
Out of 100 contacts
6 I met in person
3 Become my girlfriend but it didn't last long.
20 I added on fb and I can see it is actually them
4 I added on fb and skype (webcam performer or sex worker)
The rest are just scammer asking for money or some sad story they make up to make you send money.
My piece of advice is becareful who you chat with you could be chatting to a scammer (ladyboy, woman, gay or a man) but if you learn to weed the bad one out from the good one you can meet genuine people Who are looking for relationship or new friend.

Of course u will find scammers and women just needing money as it will not be possible for the site to check ur chatmates in advance, it is up to you to discard and report them immediately or simpy follow the rule "never send money" no matter how convincing the girl might be. I was paying member 3 times and each time I went afterwards to Philippine I could meet girls I chatted in this site but I checked them out seriously including using cam in skype or viber. Nevertheless a rest of risk will remain. The best comprehensive review I read here was written by JDL.

After setting up a basic profile I started to receive messages from various girls, you can only see the first few words of the message as you need to pay to read the rest. The words I could see were nice pic or nice profile yet I hadn't added a pic and only one person had viewed my profile and hadn't messaged. All they want you to do is pay and I'm pretty sure once I did all the random messages would stop. My advice is if you want to meet pinay is to go there for a few weeks. I've been living there on and off since 2008.

A platinum member said so bad to me so i get mad. This website suspended me but ignored what ever the man said against me. Probably because the man is a paying member and i am just a free member. I emailed them but this website doesnt care at all. So i requested them to permanently delete my profile. And they did because they doesnt care. I dont recommend that you guys join this site.

Hi Anne,
We sincerely apologize for the unwelcoming experience. However, in order to take immediate action against this member, we need you to send us a copy of the evidence that you believe is offensive to www.filipinocupid.com/en/help/helpdesk
80 to 90 percent of them are on there for money. And alot of them are scammers. Your personal messages are read by employees working for Filipino Cupid. There are also lots of underage on there looking for money to pay there education expenses. The 10 to 15 percent want marriage and lots of children.

This site used to have real people several years ago but it is false advertisement because although they purport to have millions of people online, many of these users are no longer using the service and they left the site years ago, but the platform does not delete their profiles thus giving the impression that there are millions of people when there are not. Once you are in the Philippines and living in a particular City the scamming is really heightened because although people say they live in a certain location, once they find out you are actually in the same city they stopped communicating because, the gig is up as we'd like to stay in the US. I regret that I cannot suggest a different profile page or a different dating site but what I can say is that around 80% of the profiles on here are totally fake and replete with ladyboys

The site is a scam. The company is the one sending the messages from fake profiles
About 95% of the Good looking pics are fake. Every thing that was written about under the scam reviews are true. I wonder it the positive reviews on here are legit. Its a waste of time. You will be better off just going to the Philippines. You will find most of the ladies don't even use Filippino Cupid. Lmao... save your money and just go trust me it's better.

This site will not allow you to join without obtaining a scanned copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport or other "Government Issued ID".
If you submit it, your profile is said to be Terminated or Suspended and you will not hear from them again. Think where the details of your ID are being used or who its sold to. You could be used in anything in your country, Phillippines or anywhere in the globe. At the simplest level they can use your ID to purchase Sim Cards.
Be cautious and do not supply your ID to Filipinocupid.

90% of all 'Asian Dating Sites' are a pure SCAM! And most of them are an EXPENSIVE SCAM! FilipinoCupid.com at least seems to be a trustworthy site and in my opinion it is sure worth a try. As an alternative you may want to use iDate-Asia.com but keep in mind that it is more expensive. Anyway, those were the two only sites where I did not feel being scammed.

I did find the love of my life on this site. But it took a few chats to get to her. I was completely honest and provided a truly accurate and extensive profile of myself... blemishes and all. I waited for responses that seemed sincere and that actually seemed like they read my profile. I chatted with a few who seemed either unsure, scamming, or flakey. But with a little patience I did finally meet my future bride... honest, sweet, and interested in having a real relationship.
So my advice is use the tools given to Broadcast who you really are and what you are looking for... don't embellish. The sincere ones will see you for who you are and will find you.

Joined this site, paid and was activated. Few hours later, profile was suspended. Note that I had not sent 1 message, and my profile text was decent.
Quote Profile temporarily suspended. The safety and security of our customers is very important to us. Our fraud prevention systems are working 24 X 7 to protect our customers from dishonest individuals, inaccurate profile content or offensive behavior. If you believe we have made an error in terminating your profile, please choose one of the following options... I filled out their forms, waited 36 hours, and still waiting!
I have ordered from companies worldwide for amounts 10-30 times that I paid for membership on FilipinoCupid. NEVER before been requested to proof my identity, until now. Never been accused for be a fraudster.
HOW can they think that customers will extend membership, when they start so unfriendly and hostile? Fraud for a few bucks?
Come on, thief's are looking for a 1 time big pay out. Now, a small cheap membership on a website...
This is just plain stupid of them.
Tip for consumers:
Use another site who don't accuse new members for be a fraud. I feel insulted, from the very beginning. Read reviews, before pay for membership.

Dear David,
We apologize for your unwelcoming experience. Please contact us here: www.filipinocupid.com/en/help/helpdesk for further assistance.
I was on there a couple of times and talked to a few women. I even did the trick where you just type any thing and see if it triggers the machine to do an atomatic response. On top of all of that I was on there facebook page and saw a chick asking for her account to be reactivated. And this is on facebook! So the women there are definitely real. The site is NOT scamming you but it doesn't mean the girls aren't.
Tip for consumers:
I know what everyone is thinking, yea it could have been a scam, and I could've have gotten taken advantage of but I'm not afraid of life. The oppression i experience in my own country gave me no other option so I know what it's like to have people fear you for no real reason. Good luck.

I have bought their paid membership but in less than 24 hrs they blocked my messaging app saying it has been disabled for 24 hrs to avoid spam. When i contacted them they said its their policy and number of mesaage is calculated automatucally by system and they cant do anything. So beaware of taking their memebrship as u will be disabled for 24 hr from messaging and in middle of conversation u will find stuck. Also there are many fake accounts.
Tip for consumers:
Go for better option.. here we are just wasting our money

I have been reading a lot of reviews about this dating site since i have just started using it. It is very saddening that a lot of Filipinas resort in extorting money. It gives a very bad impression for all us Filipinas. I do not blame you guys. That is very wrong. I just hope that you won't generalize us all because there are still decent and very kind Filipinas out there.

This site of full of scammers and fake profiles. Sometimes I wonder if Filipino Cupid are working together with these scammers to drum up business. Out of 30 profiles you talk to, maybe one is authentic, and doesn't ask for money. A lot of these fakes and scammers will ask you to chat outside the Website (usually through Whatsapp). After you get to know them, they will come up with some silly excuses, ie, getting sick, or hungry, and ask you to send money. Never ever send them money. This will help feed the vicious cycle of having more scammers on the site. I can tell most of the profiles are fake by doing a simple Google Image search on their profile pictures. A lot of pictures are stolen from other sites and Social Media (Facebook, IG). And always verify their identity by doing a Video Chat. If they give a silly excuse of not able to do video chat, just move on to the next profile. It's not worth your time. The site was not like this in the past. But it's gotten worse over the years. I honestly don't think Filipino Cupid is doing enough to weed out fake profiles and scammers. I suggest you spend your hard earned money on another site.
Tip for consumers:
beware of fake profiles. Always verify their authenticity and never send other members money

Signed up to Filipino Cupid several years ago and did find a Filipina, who I met and dated in real life for 2 years.
There are plenty of real Filipina's on the site BUT there are a HUGE number of scammers that make using the site extremely frustrating.
I found that I was spending about 90% of my time talking to scammers which only left a very small amount of time to talk to legitimate people who weren't out to fleece you.
Identifying the obvious ones is kind of easy (Snapchat, WhatsApp etc) - but it's almost impossible to be sure because some will drag it out for weeks before they think you're ready to send money.
Honestly I think it's better to give it a miss - jump on a plane - go to the country and meet someone there - hang out in any Jollybee for an afternoon and you'll have someone before you can say "more rice please"

I signed up for Filipino Cupid on May 29,2023 days later they suspended my account. Their excuse was my password was wrong! I tried calling eight times and was not able to talk to anybody. I had no recourse except to go online and I did everything they asked me to do even signed up for a new username and password for different occasions a course they refused to refund my money for services that were never rendered. I have never wrote of review in my life but I've taken it upon myself to expose Filipino Cupid as it is a scam. One note of caution, half of the girls you talk to our scammers. I agree with other reviews on this site has for their phone number and see if it's from the United States and not the Philippines. It is a waste of time and a waste of money I gave them $79.99 for three days of talking to scammers. Lesson learned. I just want to forewarn anybody who pays for this site. Their customer service is pathetic to say the lease they will do nothing to restore your account. They just give you the runaround over and over again. I signed up for this account because it was the most popular which you are taking a risk and if you like talking to scammers. This is the site to be
Tip for consumers:
Take it upon your own discretion when you sign up on this site number one, you will get no customer service and number two they will suspend you at any time for no reason at all and you will not be able to restore your account. I lost $79.99 for just three days of service which was nothing but scammers. I am going to share this experience with every review online, including this one

A lot of reviews here complain about girls asking for money. Come on, get real. Why do you think a hot 20 year old wants to chat with your saggy $#*!?! Of course she wants money in some form or another. Even if they are completely legit, they want a better life than their poverty stricken existence in their own country. Having said that, I have found a lot of genuine girls looking for a BF or husband to come rescue them. Most of them are desperately poor, mostly uneducated and living in a shack somewhere. That doesn't mean they are a scam. It is just the profile of the typical female user. A well educated, professional Filipina is not going to hang out here.
Once you accept that and if you want to find a pretty young companion for a while your have your choice of pickings. But you must go there. Sitting at home on your computer you are going to just attract scammers. You should join the site 2 weeks before arriving, make a bunch of contacts and meet them when you arrive. You will have your pick of multiple young pretty girls to spend time with.

I am another user who paid for FC and was overcharged, They did respond to my emails and were in flat denial that I had not authrorised any further payments than just the one month intended,
I am very happy to say that I got a few emails back from their so called admin, the contents of which i will post online in due course.
Reason I am writing here is that once I threatened to post these emails from them - I then find my account is terminated - not just with FC but another Cupid Media site I was using too.
Use their sites but do not pay for anything!
Tip for consumers:
do not pay ...almost none of the women there actually pay for accounts so just use it and hope for the best.

Avoid Victoria Bagang at all costs, she will tell you that she loves you, that she is your wife, you her husband and she wants to live with you. I was stupid in that I not only believed her I sent her a lot of money. She apparently has a sister called Elizabeth Bagang and a solicitor called Atty Sagpa, she will tell you her mother is ill and needs medication. She will tell you she is religious, goes to church every week. Do not believe a word she says.
Tip for consumers:
Follow the advice of the website never send any money to anyone no matter they tell you, if they ask for money report them straight away, at least this 'woman' Victoria Bagang has been removed from the FilipinoCupid
