Signed up and the same day they had free one hour platinum membership benefits. Talked with 3 girls got their info on skype. Video chat with all three and they were true to their profile. All three are very poor. I really liked 2 out of three. We have been talking on skype. One has 6 years old kid and other has 5! Months old kid. They both want to meet me. So I am going there for a month and stay with my cousin. I am gonna meet both of them for 2 weeks each. Will decide after that. I told both to not ask for money right on first day. They didn't. It's been 6 months. Will update to let you all know what happened next.
Bought a suscription for 3 months and i'm out in less of a month, as the ttle says; Business oriented 100% on milk western man, be prepared to lose a lot of time in the process of being tricked with dramas, emergencies, lies, scripts made to end up asking for money sooner or later. Poor you if you are a good person, looking for real love, be careful. Philippine women are wonderful ones but not in these places where they have done a cruel business with foreigners.
Ive been on fillipino cupid,, and have been scammed by every lady I have met, they all lie, I have been talking to one lady at the moment and she is alos talking to a friend of mine un beknowing to her, that we play her along and want to marry both of us, very untrustworthy ladys, i thought thai ladys where bad mike from England

I am a paid member. I've gone thru many dating sites before. What I can say is this site is decent enough compared to others especially the China dating site. Scammers, Fake, and Golddiggers are everywhere. You just can't stop them. The only thing you can do is stop yourself from being stupid. I met a lot of girls over there. Most of not so much beautiful or fair looking but mostly genuine. But we men always want the beautiful one. So, there is a price for the beautiful one. You have to deal with the risk with it. You got to be intelligently dealing with them. I met a few beautiful girls and genuine but of course I had to go through a very hard process to sort which is it. I met a lot of scammers asking for money for all types of reasons. I met sales girls too especially Chinese members selling their dating websites/apps. Even I met many ladyboys which I thought a real girl. So it ups to us what we going to choose to be. The site is providing the platform and not a government to administer everyone. There is a "verified" customer you can choose but we pick the non-verified because she is more beautiful, right? Why? So, be a wise man when it comes to relationships. This my site ID: *******. I'm not representing the site. I say from my own will. Thanks.

I live here in the Philippines. During the Covid-19 quarantine I signed up for FilipinoCupid to find younger, attractive women in my area to date. I paid them 2600 peso ( about $51) for three months of Platinum service. During that time I found that like 98% of all of the younger, attractive women on the site were FAKE PROFILES. The scammers use stolen photos from the internet, the person who you are corresponding with is probably not even a female. I texted with dozens and dozens of these profiles, and when they realized that I live here in Cebu they immediately stopped corresponding, no explanation given or required. Why? Because if I live here they can't scam me, so 'the gig is up' at that point. I met only one female who was real, only to find out later that she was only 15 years old. Most of the profiles of older, less attractive women on this site are probably real, but I am not interested in such women. Older, less attractive women are very plentiful throughout the world and if I wanted one I would not need FilipinoCupid's help to find her! Take notice and warn your friends, almost all of these beautiful female profiles on this site are FAKE!

First, I want to say there are probably more beautiful Filipinas on FC than any other comparable dating site. It's not even close. That said, I think Filipino Cupid is paying attractive women to contact men. As an example, I am in the medical field. I put in my profile I'm very interested in meeting women who are also in the medical field. Now, I have been off and on FC for just over a year. I let my gold membership elapse and then sign up again about 3 months later. It never fails when I let my membership lapse, I get contacted by several women who are either nurses, medical techs or what have you. I rarely get contacted by them when my gold membership is active. So, I believe the women who contact me when my membership elapses are fake. Whenver I come back to gold membership, I will contact them. They never reply. Never. So, I believe FC is involved in either making fake profiles to lure members back or paying women to contact us after our gold membership has expired. It's one of the two.
One other thing, you'll notice all the canned responses from Filipino Cupid here. That should tell you the level of the scam of that site. I'll say again, FC is part of the scam.

Dear Kr,
We apologize for your unwelcoming experience. Please contact us here: www.filipinocupid.com/en/help/helpdesk for further assistance.
I have been fairly badly been scammed by 2 Filipino female profiles on this site, one which represented to be living in Philippines and another in Guangzhou, China. Both 30 - 35. They were both pretty convincing. The first always had bad things happen to her but was adept at playing at heartstrings (mine) and always the amounts of money were greater each time. Finally, trying to send money thru Western Union, I was told by personnel at WU that this woman had been sent money by 30 parties. So that ended that. The 2nd did not really even ask me for money, but "led" me to have her come and visit me in the states and then put me in touch with a "Chinese travel agency". She produced a Filipino birth certificate and college degree from a Philippine university. That's what hooked me in. Obviously they were fakes. I told the website that this was probably a fraud and they wrote back to me that they found nothing wrong with this woman (after not responding to my email for several weeks). I expect there are tons and tons of scammers on this site. I also suspect that that is because the website does such a bad job of due diligence that it makes it easy for scammers to join and that they probably have a reputation among scammers of being a good place to set up shop. And I really get the feeling that the people that run FilipinoCupid couldn't care less about that.

This site will not upgrade your membership without demanding what they term "Government Issued ID". They will take your Passport or Drivers Licence, with the objective of using it for other purposes.
Imagine... you join a site and upgrade your membership using your credit card. Then, when they have your credit card payment, they will provide you with a message saying "Profile Suspended" pending your licence or passport submission.
Furthermore, if you wish to change your profile, for example a the day of your date of birth, they will ask for the licence or passport, but will not allow you to make changes to your profile even after 4
Days.
Be careful of this site. Half the female profiles are fake and men using female photos from Philippines. The aim of the site is to collect identity documents. Why on earth would a site ask flr drivers licence or passport after youve paid membership with your credit card - the details if which only you know.
Another disappointing fact is the site will not specify the gender of the members online - it will say 4000 members online - but in reality its 3800 men and the rest females. You will see the same female profiles in Page 1, Page 3 and Pages 5... of uour search.
Simply put: Scammer site.
Tip for consumers:
Do not join....they will suspend your membership after your payment, saying they want to see the same details of the credit card on your drivers licence or passport

Dear Dean,
In order to prevent fraudulent payments on our websites, our billing department reviews certain transactions. For some transactions, we require additional verification to prove that the person making the transaction is authorized to do so. Please contact www.filipinocupid.com/en/help/helpdesk if you have any further concerns.
I have been a member of this site for 4 years now. The site is riddled with bugs, such as incorrect thumbnails showing and old removed photos replacing photos you just uploaded. When you try to ask for customer service they try to blame it on you. They have a new chat window that is 100% annoying that cannot be disabled. They refuse to remove scammers when reported. I have had a problem lately and been trying to get an answer for almost 2 months and I have received no response at all. Terrible customer service and mismanagement of the site. Not worth the high price. Lazy management who seems to be asleep at the wheel.
A new problem is men posting in the ladies section. Even though they have a pre-made report for reporting men in the ladies section they now tell me it's ok for men to post in the ladies section. Very weird.
Then they reply to this review asking me to contact support. Their support is no help at all. They send you premade responses that have nothing to do with your problem. I have talked to support many times over the years.

Dear Sparky,
Your safety is our top priority, and it’s possible we have deleted their profile because they broke our rules. If this has happened, we’ll display a message to let you know.
When an account is suspended or deleted, the member’s username disappears from all your lists, and all their messages, views, likes will no longer appear.
Obviously everyone will see this so i thought i'd leave a review and some good, free advice on things to look out for.
Just created my profile today. My inbox filed with over twenty notes with in the first two hours as i am not ugly. As the day progressed i have ran into at least 3 scam attempts. They are doing this new thing now where (if u make it that far) you get on skype with them and u see the girl but what "she" is saying doesn't pare up with her facial expressions. Honestly i don't know how they have been scamming ppl because they really aren't that smart lmfao!
So to the miserable guys out there start of being nice but not too needy. Don't over sell your reaction when she gives u a compliment, all females are the same, mentally. U want to do just enough to make it to a video chat. They may say something is wrong with the camera (flag).
They may say something is wrong with the mic (half flag)
Once you see her face THEN u become the predator of the conversation. Be subtly demanding. The idiot in the shadows will become annoyed, then you type "wave" in the chat box. They respond with bs you respond with "do it." If she SMILES and waves their is your sign that you are being scammed.
American women are horrible so i understand the frustration but don't be desperate for a pretty smile and an easygoing conversation. Good luck fellas.

The website is full of Chinese scammers and pinay scammers. There are a few genuine woman on there but most are not.
There are a large number of Chinese scammers who will message you and scam you. If you report them filipino cupid will do nothing because the chinese scammers ask to talk off website and they play a long game of trying to make it look like they're interested.
Most pinays on there are ultimately looking for money and they are either honest about it or completely deceptive your luck will vary.
I paid for 12 months and im at month six and im so frustrated by all the chinese scammers and webcam girls asking me to add them on Skype I've been telling them to go $#*! themselves and they've in turn reported me and filipino cupid suspended me then told me I couldn't use foul language. They dont seem to mind the fact their paying customers are being flooded by scammers and fake profiles
I regret spending money there and I recommend other foreigners to stear clear or just sign up for a month at a time. There are better dating website out there that are completely free like dateinasia that also have scammers but at least you won't waste your money to get the same experience.

I joined FilipinoCupid.com as a one-month membership: Male / Single / ID: ******* (May 2021).
Seriously, about 50% of the registered Females are really Ladyboys/Gays posing as Females. In addition, around 25% of the Females profiles are totally just marketing scams to attract more guys - Models in Bikinis - which means only about 25% are real biological females.
I complained to the FC management team as this is not fair for the paying members (men) and for sure not fair for the biological girls who are also trying to find a man. FC allows this because it increases their numbers of registered 'females'. If you are a man seeking a biological girl then FILIPINACUPID.COM is NOT the site for you. This Site is a disgrace and a deception of what they market and promote it to be. The membership fee and time is totally not worth it.
Attached just a fraction of the thousands of 'Females' I encountered in FC - they are really gay men registered, dressing, and posing as females.
According to Sitejabber.com, FilipinoCupid has a consumer rating of 1.66 stars from 142 reviews indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. FilipinoCupid ranks 30th among Asian Dating sites.
These are just the Facts of how HORRIBLE FilipinoCupid.com really is - of course, we know Sally is employed by FC so instead of taking these reviews illustrated by the 142 people, and helping FC with their process improvements, she will just stamp one of her many pre-written comments and ignore the points of the reviews.

First time ever using a dating site skeptical right away scan people with same interests try to make judgment on who might be compatible it went on and on to use a card to get my time to be able to text frankly I didn't trust it but did find two people that I would like to contact finally they gave me one free hour and I get a text from one that is interested just got her one free hour texted her heard nothing back then immediately they were wanting me to sign up and pay so I could continue text you would think that they would give you enough free time to get started not try to get money from you immediately without knowing the legit to me of the site noticed they don't use PayPal pay safe I'm not sure what that is and how secure that is but it was funny you would get spurts of people texting saying they wanted to meet you and then those spurts would go away and nothing it was like you were being set up to pay I am currently looking for a site that I can trust because this one does not seem trustworthy and when I tried to unsubscribe I could not so I put everything into spam and I am still currently receiving messages

I'VE BEEN TALKING TO THIS PINA LADY FOR A WHILE KNOW. WE PLANNED ON GETTING MARRIED. BUT SHE STARTED HAVING MEDICAL PROBLEM AND I SENT HER 150.00 TO PAY THE DOCTOR AND AFTER THAT, HER REFRIGERATOR BROKE DOWN AND SHE COULDN'T BUY FOOD TO KEEP IT FROM SPOILING, SHE WANTED ME TO SEND HER 400.00. I SAID NO AND THEN SHE STARTED TELLING ME THAT SHE WAS HUNGRY AND HAVEN'T EATEN ANYTHING. I HAVE SKYPED WITH HER, IN THE PAST AND I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT SHE WASN'T A "LADYBOY". WELL, SHE STARTED DOING SEX ACTS WITHOUT ME ENCOURAGING HER TO DO THAT, SHOWING ME THAT SHE WAS A FEMALE. SHE WAS DEFINITELY A FEMALE. AND THEN SHE WANTED TO SEE "ME" AND I SAID NO. I ASKED HER WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN WHEN SHE MET ME, DOES SHE START TO HAVE MONEY PROBLEMS. SHE ALWAYS RESPONDS TO ME IN A NICE SWEET WAY. WELL I JUST CUT HER OFF, YESTERDAY. THIS IS THE THIRD AND FINAL TIME CUTTING HER OFF, BUT I FEEL BAD ABOUT IT.
