Signed up and the same day they had free one hour platinum membership benefits. Talked with 3 girls got their info on skype. Video chat with all three and they were true to their profile. All three are very poor. I really liked 2 out of three. We have been talking on skype. One has 6 years old kid and other has 5! Months old kid. They both want to meet me. So I am going there for a month and stay with my cousin. I am gonna meet both of them for 2 weeks each. Will decide after that. I told both to not ask for money right on first day. They didn't. It's been 6 months. Will update to let you all know what happened next.
Bought a suscription for 3 months and i'm out in less of a month, as the ttle says; Business oriented 100% on milk western man, be prepared to lose a lot of time in the process of being tricked with dramas, emergencies, lies, scripts made to end up asking for money sooner or later. Poor you if you are a good person, looking for real love, be careful. Philippine women are wonderful ones but not in these places where they have done a cruel business with foreigners.
Back in 2010, When I met the love of my life here on this website. I'm from the Philippines and my husband is from USA. We've been happily married for 9 years and counting, for me everyday is a blessings being next to my very kind and loving husband. He does help me build my confidence on how to achieve my goals in life, he motivates me with everything as well, he changed my life a lot which Is no words could explain how thankful And blessed I am to have him in my life
I came from a poor family who would never ask him to send money for them because that would never be his obligation to take responsibility to take care everyone, I send money to my mom occasionally in the Philippines but would come from my own pay check not on husband's wallet. Husband and I didn't make any agreement Sending money to the Philippines before marriage. I'm currently working as a full time associate at my job, I work hard just so that I could help hubby to pay our bills and other expenses.
So for those of you who are still seeking, good luck! I hope you'll find the right one for you Never ever rush to put yourself on a relationship that you are not sure about., that's when you get disappointed,, you have to get to know that person well. Take your time of getting to know him/her. Don't put your trust right away, follow your instincts If you don't feel right to that person, cut off your conversation to her or him and move on..

I upgraded my membership to GOLD on 15th May 2018 for one month and paid 29.98 Euro. On 20th May 2018, I opened the site and see that I am NO longer to send messages nor I am able to read the messages. I wrote several emails, and they do NOT reply. Yes, I was getting many messages from the girls, and I think they think I will pay again to read those messages. This is totally spam site.

This woman's a SCAMMER! BANISH HER FROM YOUR SITES!
We met on FILIPINO CUPID site and she claimed not to have reliable internet for online video chats. So she asked that I help her buy a wifi modem which I sent her money AUD100 for; Then she asked for cash to load internet data credit unto the wifi modem, which I sent her. After she collected the second cash of AUD100, she blocked me on WhatsApp. Here she is again, online, looking for someone else to defraud. She has changed her location from Cebu, to Scotland, a place she knows nothing about. SHE IS THERE AGAIN TO SCAM OTHER INNOCENT AND UNSUSPECTING MEN!
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT FOR WHATEVER REASON SEND MONEY TO ANYONE YOU MET ON FILIPINO CUPID until you have actually met her in person.

Stay away from this site. As long as you have a free account you will be hit with messages from fake profiles - in the style of "I have seen your picture and like you" even though you haven't even posted a picture yet. All of these supposed interested are FAKE and SCAMMERS.
The site is run as a big SCAM operation - as soon as you pay, they will DEACTIVATE your account asking for your credit card details. Then they will not respond to any of your emails. They use *******@filipinocupid.com to send you nonsense requests and will NEVER REPLY to your emails.
DO NOT waste your time and money with these fraudsters. They run a fake and criminal operation.

Not a total scam but pretty close! You get messages and likes from numerous pretty women. They are a scam for the most part. Just trying to entice you to sign up for a paid account. Most of them can't even hold a real conversation and you know right away that they are scammers. Th ones that are actually looking just want money!
Total waste of money! Almost a total waste of time? It was entertaining at least for a little while. I really doubt there is any international dating site that is legit! Their all scams!
Latin Romances. Same thing! Within in minutes of signing up 5 or 6 very attractive women sent me a message. All claiming to be rich and will take care of me, just marry them to get to the states. While I do know that could happen? 6 of them in 20 minutes with the same story? Yea Right! Best just to travel to where you want to go and find what you are looking for yourself! Like a post before mine said. I paid for one month on Filipina Cupid and immediately canceled. So I still have a month left and will update this review.

I was a member of Filipino Cupid for about 5 months. And eventually met my beautiful fiance. But along the way I encountered a few scammers. A few words of advice. I'm in my 50's and I'm just an average looking guy. With an average blue collar job. My fiance is 45 years old but very sweet and really gorgeous. I traveled to Hong Kong to meet her about 8 months ago. She's sweet and beautiful and a genuine Christian like myself. She's never asked me for a dime and refused to accept money from me on several occasions. We're processing her fiancé visa now and we Skype 3 or 4 times a day. I have met several really nice beautiful girls on the website. Of course I've met several scammers too. It's easy to pick them out. Once they start asking for money end it right away and block them. I had several beautiful young girls offer to strip for me on camera. I never took them up on it. Block them too. Be realistic. Don't go for the 20 year old gorgeous bikini models. There are plenty of beautiful women close to your own age with good hearts and good intentions. Good luck.

It is very difficult to import a pinay. So before you start supporting her each month and get the Westen Union thing going, first understand what it will take to have her visit you in your country. Of all the pinays I have met online and in person, 1% could qualify for a Visa to Australia or the US. And there are so many scammers. To be eligible to apply for the tourist visa, they need to have a legitimate, long standing job... need to have $1000's in the bank... or need to have property to qualify. Or you spend $10,000 or more to get a spousal visa organised for a person that has never travelled and chance that she won't take off for something or someone richer when you aren't looking.

I was flipping through this site for a couple of weeks. After being on there for a while today, I noticed how all the profile pictures have advertisement stamped on their pages. I asked them 2 questions. The first 2 were answered quickly. The second question being why the word advertisement was stamped all on the profile pages. They sent me back a reply about how third party advertisements would be visible until I upgraded. I sent them a reply telling them that's not what I meant, with an attachment containing a screenshot with an arrow pointing to exactly what I was talking about. The word advertisement clearly stamped on every profile page. Needless to say, I have not had a reply explaining why this exists. I held back on joining because of how fraudulent these sites are. That's holding back with over 100 messages in my emails. Most before i"d even put any info on my profile. Pretty ironic how they fein legitimacy with all the warnings about fraudsters on their site, yet they them selves are scamming. To anybody reading this, save your money. Go back to the site and see for yourself what I'm talking about. If it walks like and quacks like a duck...

As of mid January 2023 I've been on this app for 2 weeks and I've experienced that 99% are fake profiles that are attempting to groom you for some kind of scam.
I'm savy enough that I have not given them any money but I do regret paying for membership on the app simply because it has been a huge waste of time.
The scam model of operation is to approach you on the app then move the conversation to WhatsApp. Here you will hear every possible excuse that their camera is not working or the sound is not working. The scam ends here with me but I imagine other users may continue until the whole thing ends up in tears. Sometimes there is video contact but it lasts for mere seconds, the person on the video is not quite the person you thought you were talking with, and within seconds an excuse comes up to end the video conversation, and that will be the last contact.
The other type of scam is of a sexual nature, and I think it's some kind of extortion attempt. You will be approached on the app with the message 'Do you want to cum?'. Then the conversation shifts to WhatsApp where I've witnessed a woman touching herself between the legs right in front of the camera and at all times urging you to do the same. I'm guessing that the whole thing is taped and you will be blackmailed. I was laughing my head off at the whole show and it promptly ended. I could write a book at how good these people are at this. You think I'm joking...try it for yourself.

After I joined Filipino Cupid I was amazed at how many women their were on the site... I met quite a few women that I quickly identified as scammers... you can tell if you listen closely. I decided to talk to two I suspected were scammers at the same time on Skype (that is the vehicle of choice of the scammers) and found that the conversation in a few instances were identical from one another.
As opposed to the lady I found... she was very pretty, genuine, honest and offered credibility in terms of her background and trustworthiness. (I actually narrowed my search down to 3 ladies, all were credible and pretty, however, each came with them their own circumstances and I mad4e my final choice).
Be very alert and aware of the type of women that are on this site. Be smart and have common sense and as President Reagan used to say; "Trust by verify". If you get to the point where she is coming to the states, be aware that immigration requires them to have "Travel Show Money"... so, be prepared to give them the funds to show immigration. But, that said... this is where the scam begins... so, be smart and if you feel the person has given you enough credibility through her words, actions & social media... then, enjoy the ride and I wish you the best.

Hello Paul,

Someone wanted to give me aggravation by pretending to be me on the site, and attempting to change my password. Rather than contact me through my email address, Filipino Cupid terminated my account. I was given the chance to argue my case, and it took FIVE (5) days before they replied. I told them what had happened and how arbitrary and capricious they had been in terminating my account. I was instructed to change my password. I did that -- more than once. I still get the notice that my situation will be "reviewed" (as before). I have not been able to access my account for TWO WEEKS, and I went there today to CANCEL my subscription before FC takes more money out of my bank. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING -- THEY DO NOT LISTEN -- AND THEY DO NOT CARE.

Got scammed because I fell for a girl. Bought the whole story and paid for her ticket. Then she began asking for money. ALOT of money. It was too late. I'm an idiot for not coming here first and reading the reviews. REMEMBER DO NOT GIVE OR PAY ANYTHING, until you are there in the flesh or even then just do you and be smart.

FilipinoCupid is truly a site to promote money laundering and prostitution. I am a FilipinoCupid member ever since it started and my following comments are based my own personal experience. I was a paid member on FilipinoCupid for more than a dozen times and every time end up desperately. Almost 90% accounts are fake and fraud. I also noticed that Filipinocupid is not for marriage. In their site, the relationship is only for friendship, dating, and long term relationship and not for marriage. In other words, the site is exclusively for money laundering, sex, and prostitution. I added on my profile that I am looking someone for marriage. Whenever I use the word marriage on my profile, they delete the word marriage and keep the remaining. When I am not a paid member, I usually get a large number of messages immediately after I log in. I will never get such a flow of messages once I am a paid member. I experienced the same with VietnamCupid also. It is very clear that the staff of Cupid media send out large number messages to non-paid members randomly. Then they erase the send message history from the women profile. All profiles are under their control and they can manipulate anything they want. They never delete or remove profiles, which are inactive for years.

I have been a member with Filipino Cupid for nearly a month now and I get lots of "Interest" from females, females that want my money.
They all ask you, every single one I have had so far has asked me "Do you have Skype" and if you don't then some are not interested in speaking to you, but if you are interested then they ask you for money to do naked shows for you.
Or you get ones trying hard to be your friend and I must say some do put a bit of work into it to make you there friend, but all of them after awhile will come up with some "Sob Story" about they have no money to feed their children or they have Dengue Fever but no money to buy medicine, or with the recent earthquake I had one saying she was homeless and needed me to send her 5000 pesos to buy her a tent.
Then you get the ones that offer you topless/naked photos and videos for cash.
So if you are looking for a serious relationship, girlfriend or even a decent friendship, look somewhere else as you will be doing yourself a favor and saving your money by not coming here to Filipino Cupid.
Thankfully I only paid for a months membership, and personally it was a waste of every cent, and if you want to meet a nice Filipino girl without all this BS, then do what I am doing and buy a ticket there and find a decent one yourself.

The heck. So I am a female and I was being honest all the way that I am helping my Sister out to find her partner. Maybe it is not allowed, but hey we are not scammers at all! And we were purely honest. We are not fake!
But there was one Caucasian who lives in other State who saw the profile and was like a hungry volture who told me that his Son is near me and would like to meet me asap! Wtf¡ i just created a profile and still trying to figure out things there but how can you do that when after uploading photos there were hundreds of men messaging, sending smiles and so on?! I was so nice and being educated on my responses towards him and very honest. Guess what, he was so upset he cannot get what he wanted right away that he reported me and my account was terminated. Will you meet a guy like that who thinks I am an item being sold and he wanted to grab just few minutes after being posted?! Why my profile was terminated just like that without proper explanation from the dating site team? Where is the justice there? Nothing from this so called dating site! No protection for females either!
