“This here is the Bomb!”

I can't tell you how many vital tips and links to incredibly relevant and useful tips, advice, and insights I have gotten from Yahoo Finance. Some say it has too many ads on, but they don't at all interfere with the content the user seeks

“Yahoo Finance is a scam platform”

Ken J.
10/19/24

I firmly alert against drawing in with Yahoo Finance, as my experience proposes they work as a trick organization. Be careful about any contribution, as it might bring about monetary misfortune and negative outcomes. I've gotten my cash back and that was just way I could go about it. I found support from. (I Involved THEIR Site URL AS MY Showcase NAME AND PROFILE PICTURE ON THIS Audit INCASE YOU Want Assistance AND Believe Should Connect with THEM). Note: I did this on account of the severe arrangement here and truly I simply need to help whatever number individuals as would be prudent to get their cash back.

Yahoo's portfolio news is now just a bunch of sponsored ads combined with tabloid style articles. Actual financial news of companies in your portfolio are few. Big disappointment over the original format.

I use the apple phone app. The stock page is good to very good. The general business yahoo finance articles are biased and a joke. Not a balanced look at the market. Keep politics out of your biases. Keep it up and I'll start a page elsewhere. It's a hassle, as I have been here a long time, but reading this garbage in place of a simi balance look a the world of business wastes my time. I'm not sure when this changed but I think it was a year or 2 after the election. Crazy world, picking sides is not an intellectual position.

I love the website and I was reluctant to move on, but I've had it. The countless problems I encounter trying to use it have become too much. I cant believe in this day and age you cant find someone to make the site perform correctly. Way too many glitches. Ohh and the BS click bait and sponsored content disguised as news... Crap!

I can understand swearing but Yahoos finance talk forums go way beyond. I tried to download a business article from You Tube for the others on the chat forum and Yahoo for some reason would not allow me to publish it. This has now happened twice. There reasons are generic and not specific at all. You can't use specific words that aren't even inflamed. Why bother find another forum I'm sure there are others.

Are the employees truly so narrow minded? Do they understand or even research companies? How in the world does Yahoo get away with such poor content. I can't wait to see this group of NPC characters get schooled by the outcome of Tesla. I have attempted to see things from the yahoo perspective...however I'm not flexible enough to get my head so far in the sand...(the other version may get this review removed for hate speech against the left!) Yahoo is full of yahoo's...don't trust these lefty woke folk...

Tip for consumers:
Yahoo is owned by Verizon. Verizon is a tech company and will censor.

Products used:

Yahoo finance could be the most important way for millions of investors to do serious financial homework and share it but the actual people who run it are almost 100% incapable and have made it worthless. Nobody in investment works harder and is smarter than the millions of individual investors who are looking for ideas and are willing to share but Yahoo has installed automated software that makes it impossible to use the site for real important research.

The site is getting close to unusable. I have tried it with multiple browsers on different os/devices. The pages load extremely slowly, keep reframing/reformatting over several seconds, etc. ready to dump using it.

I signed up for Yahoo Finance Premium subscription last year. I was not happy with the results from their advice or research tools. I attempted to cancel in April. I tried to follow their instructions but the navigation I was told to do did not exist. I had over 60 emails back and forth. I was passed from Yahoo to Google to Verizon and back again. My credit card company reached out to them without a response. The credit card company supplied me with two phone numbers that Google*Yahoo supplied to them. I called both numbers. They were not related to Google*Yahoo in any way. After the third charge that they made since my cancellation attempt I was told that I could block the company from making any charges to my credit card. Hopefully they will get the message soon.

The platform is lost in a previous decade or two. Clunky would be a generous assessment.
If spam is the goal of the message board than they really hit the mark.
Post are more toxic than most of the spam.
Yahoo and yahoo finance need to just die already.

Yahoo finance continues to allow scam ads. How is this possible. They must either shut down their ads if they are unable to control this or filter their ads. They should be financially liable for any losses as a result of their scam ads due to the the fact that they support this type of advertising as the adds are clearly on their platform

I really don't like the recent change in graphics when showing the historical price of a stock. If the price was rising (higher) it used to show the history with a dark green line graph, filled in below in dark green. Now, it is just a simple line graph with the last data point shown with a big green dot that obscures the detailed history around it. Please go back to the way it was last week or last month!

Used Yahoo Finance for portfolio mgt. For years. They have redone the portfolio format so as to make it perfectly useless. The rework had to be designed by some twerp who has never had a portfolio of his own.

If a stock trades on both New York and Toronto Exchanges the target prices are calculated incorrectly and not converted to Canadian dollars. If you read off the TSE the Canadian current price is accurate however in many cases the low, high, and target prices are reflected in U.S. dollars.

Yahoo needs to put some money and talent when it comes to YahooApps, otherwise you are going to lose on the last frontier where you have some relevance. The site is fine but more and more individuals are using Smart phones so you need to get with the program or be buried by it

I do not understand why Yahoo took the best consumer financial pages for stocks and decided to destroy it with the garbage site they now have. Incredibly useless. I too moved to Yahoo Canada for a while but when they changed that site as well I moved permanently to Googles stock pages. They aren't what Yahoo used to be but they are close. If Google changes then I hope it's for the better and not for what Yahoo has opted to. Who's running the rodeo at Yahoo, anyway. Clowns?

Today I discovered you changed the view on the finance page. Now instead of immediately seeing the 3 major indices of the US, I get 2 plus an ad. Are you so desparate to sell advertising that you screw your viewers? Sick of you pulling this kind of $#*! on us.

Today 10/12/2022 this morning before 9:00 am commentator I forgot his name the commentator who was commenting regarding Saudi Arabia's Oil output. He made a false and dumb comment that we went to war in the middle East to defend Saudi Arabia but the fact was that both of the war has nothing to do with Saudi Arabia.
But, the fact is that the Gulf War was to liberate Kuwait in 1990/91 and in 2003 Iraqi War to destroy Iraq's Weapons of mass destructions.
When some one is making a opinion on historical big war event he should be aware of that his listeners are knowledgeable not fools. Also there are in some occasions some commentators seems like they are detached from the reality.

Yahoo is not useble. Bring the old version back. All users will switch to Google. It is not as good as Yahoo used to be, but far superior to the current Yahoo which will not lad portfolios and information.

I have spent HOURS trying to custom my view so I have info I need like the old page... IMPOSSIBLE. Today I wanted to add a stock. Before I clicked 'edit' and my whole portfolio was there for editing, adding etc. NOW you to add you first have to add the symbol then click that and you can edit, etc. If you had 10 stocks to modify you'd better have a lot of time to click, click, click! Bring back the old!

Yahoo Finance boards are policed relentlessly. They are OK with hate, lies and racism, but delete criticism of bigotry, corruption and fascism. It has only gotten worse over time.

Yahoo still refuses to go back to the old style of portfolio viewer that worked so well. Finally my brokerage house, Schwab, has seen the need and started a NEW SUMMARY that gives me what I need. Hopefully the other brokerages will do the same so that everyone and leave this piece of junk. As for me I will gladly never have to deal with Yahoo or Verizon again.

Not sure who coded this, but the "my portfolio" section just doesn't work. Hangs up in both IE and Chrome. Go back to the old version, it worked fine!

Google Finance was great, but they close down the portfolio aspect. Stupid. So I switched to Yahoo. Even worse than not having a portfolio at all. Just strait up terrible!
