I had my Fitbit less than a month. Had to call customer service. To replace it. My data with my daily meals were deleted for week. After midnight it gives me steps that I didn't do. Wrong data.I am in bed before midnight. I spent a lot money. Alot of time on the phone with customer service. It hasn't been fixed with the wrong data.I was very disappointed. Google fit app. Works.
I've had fitbits for over 7 years. I bought the charge 3 when it came out. It kept having to be replaced. I finally bought the versa 3. In less than a year they had to replace it because the face separated from the frame. Less than a year later the same thing just happened. Now they want to say its out of warranty and offer me 35 percent off another fitbit. As trashy as their products have become, I'll never own another one. I'll pay a couple hundred more and get the Samsung watch. It's bad enough when they took away challenges from our friends on the app, now they won't transfer warranties when they have to replace their garbage products. Please be careful when buying their products
I purchased a Fitbit last year. It was stolen in February and pretty sure never activiated. I just received a charge for a premium Fitbit subscription, but do not have any active subscriptions connected to any accounts I have access to. I contacted Fitbit and they are telling me that since the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal, yesterday 12/17, they will not process a refund. Well, since I was unable to access any subscription, I was obviously unable to cancel it. This is an unauthorized charge of $85.27 on my debit card and they DO NOT care one bit. I've spent several hours dealing with this to no avail and will be contacting my bank about the charge. This is absolutely terrible customer service. I will never purchase any of their products again.
My daughter gave me the Fitbit charge 6 for Christmas. Complete waste of money!
Nothing is wrong with Fitbit itself, the app is not working properly. One major problem I have is that the app doesn't record the day of exercise correctly. It records the exercise as if I had done it the day before.
Eg exercise on a Monday gets recorded as if I had done the exercise on Sunday
I've had a few fitbit devices, only because I was able to "purchase" them using health savings points (no money spent, so no receipt). They have all failed in a short time, for various reasons. My first upper scale tracker was supposed to "sync with phone, tablet or computer"; but it wouldn't sync with my tablet, I had to buy a dongle for it to sync with my computer, only to find that it wouldn't sync anyway. My current Versa 4 will not sync (with my phone). I was able to sync it a week ago by uninstalling the app, then re-installing it: now that doesn't work either. It is less than 6 months old and used less than 3 months. I have called for support in the past, usually being on hold for more than hour before giving up. The one time I did get through (after 1 1/2 hours), I didn't have enough time to get my problem fixed. HOWEVER, if you want to upgrade your device, purchase a premium plan or order additional devices "operators are standing by"; and they really are, you will get an answer immediately, but they won't fix any of your problems, only put you on hold in the back of the queue.
My wife decided to get this Fitbit Versa Lite for tracking here steps and exercise. Unfortunately it sucks at it. The watch has no way to tell when you're walking or not. I can litterally set in my chair and let my arm swing back and forth and this thing will count steps. I can walk (according to the fitbit) over 200 steps just swinging my arm for about 5 min. It's a great idea to track and show progress, but not at the expense of deception, making people think they do more than they actually have. Do better fitbit...
Fitbit did it again, my watch died once my warranty expired. I should have learned my lesson with my first watch, but fell for the the $300 sense, not just 1 watch, but 3! My husband, my son and I all got the $300 watches and all 3 stop charging, and Fitbit's answer, sorry your watch is not under warranty, and gives you a link to their store so you can buy another watch. Work on you product, and customer service istead
Fitbit 'Surge" is absolute junk. Bracelet start falling apart after only couple of months of use. I wasted money on two units over past 6 months. Never again. Hart rate monitor is totally inaccurate. Customer service is impossible to reach.
Very sad, because I already tried 3 fitbit products, and I was disappointed every time. Please do not repeat my mistakes. Stay away from this brand.
Ever since google took over Fitbit, the software development continues to fail. My device is now unusable. Here is what my screen looks like on the iPad mini. You basically can't see your data. Charge 4 purchased with Airmiles June 2020
Bought the Inspire HR in April 2020 from Best Buy for over 80.00. Within 6 months, the screen froze and would not reset. Fitbit sent a replacement. Then the band broke and I had to purchase a new one. In June 2021, the screen went blank and there were no red or green lights on the back. Resetting did not work again. Customer service informed me that it was past the 1 year warranty so they would not replace it, but give me a discount on purchasing another one. Ok, that's not gonna happen. Maybe a more expensive one is better, but I'm not willing to take that chance I didn't have either one for more than 6 months. Shame on Fitbit... I'll purchase a different tracker, but not from them.
