The company website says their products are designed in the USA. Nowhere does it say their products are made in China. Only after we opened the box did we find the inside box that said the bowls came from China. Even the bowls themselves did not say made in China on them as US Federal Law requires. Since the Chinese tend to put lead in their Pottery firing, these products should be avoided.
Tip for consumers:
Even though the site says in several places does the products are designed in America and has other references to the United States, it does not say that the products are made in the United States.
Only the inside box said the product was made in China. Even the product itself does not say made in China on it in violation of US law.
Since the Chinese are known to use lead in their Pottery firing, we try to avoid Chinese pottery but were not able to in this instance.
