By joining FlexJobs, I was able to find a 100% work from home position as a Marketing Manager in the US for a global tech company headquartered in Belgium. It has been a wonderful experience and the perfect match for my expertise. Without FlexJobs, there's no way I would have found this opportunity on my own. I highly recommend paying the minimal subscription cost if you are serious about finding legitimate flexible positions - many with benefits!
Great service, really well put together. You can definitely tell that the people behind FlexJobs actually care about doing a good job, and that translates into all aspects of this online job search platform.
Too many very-low wage jobs to wade through to find the position for which I am looking, many of which I am unsure are even legitimate. If there was a way to remove all of the "noise", it would be helpful. For now, Indeed does not seem to have as many of these "questionable" jobs posted, so it seems easier to search.
I am checking all of my job-hunting sites today. FlexJobs is just one to which I subscribe.
Signed up, and then cancelled within a few days. Site does not provide good leads for remote work despite its claims. This company continues to charge my credit card every 2 months for a three month subscription. Leaving messages on thier voicemail does not get a return call. Emailing using the cancellation system does not get a response. This is the third attempt at cancelling. Would NOT recommend this site to anyone looking for a remote position
Such a thorough platform for jobs beyond the mainstream. I love how they support employee education through workshops offered and the library of information they place at the fingertips of job seekers.
Plenty of jobs, but so far not too many part-time ones in my field.
Great search options and filters.
Very responsive and helpful Customer Service.
Option for a second profile, and the ability to upload samples of my work.
A lot of seminars and articles I haven't had time to explore.
I chose it several months ago,(not today) based on favorable reviews, ability to scan available jobs, and a discount on a 3-month trial.
There are so many jobs on here to choose from. I've tried other ways to look for remote jobs in the past, but always felt like there was something sketchy about them. Flexjobs does all the work to ensure you are applying for legitimate jobs.
I like the concept created by the platform, and found tremendous value in its proposition. The site is very user-friendly, with additional career-focused services available as needed. I found the job fair somewhat limited for individuals with more experience.
Great service but really tough job market for those looking for remote work. I am from Maine, and the employment opportunities here don't create a resume as "shiny" as some of the other more competitive urban markets (where many of the remote opportunities stem from).
Even though circumstances did not allow me to use the site as I would like to possibly search and find a suitable job, I observed the site does provide positions from various job sectors to accommodate its clients' preferences.
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Feel free to return when needed!
I really loved your online job searching seminars. I learned a lot of useful information. As a result, I was able to change my whole resume around and now it is optimized for my job searching if I have to do so in the future.
I wanted to find a remote job and I trusted that the jobs I was looking for and applying for were legitimate.
It's a great website with excellent customer service. I have been exploring changing careers (I am a teacher) but since the school year is starting soon I am putting off my search until March 0f 2023.
I have heard great things about it.
Great website for job seekers. The only thing, there aren't much part time positions available. I am retired, and part time is mainly what I was looking for. Not willing to pay for a regular price subscription at this time when I'm seeing that part time jobs aren't popular here. Thank you for the experience and the opportunities to advance. I truly like Flex Jobs, its just not for me in my current season of life.

I had great success the first time I used Flex Jobs a couple of years ago. I wish you would not make the subscription automatic, since I was not planning on using the service but one month. I thought it would require to physically renew.
Flexjobs is great for a person interested mostly in certain kinds of fields, but not so much for others that might be more unique to the skills of some job seekers. Overall, a great site with awesome advice, but just not for me. Thanks, Flexjobs.
To be honest, it just came into my mind to Google, "Legit Work-from-Home Career Opportunities" and there, on the 1st page of course, was FlexJobs! I applied to about 3 of interest - Wednesday! Thursday I had an email and interview! Friday I completed the Hiring paperwork! It's Full-Time and has been going strong for a little over a month!:-)
Thank You FlexJobs!
Congratulation on your new job! We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and write a review of FlexJobs.com! The FlexJobs Team
The website offered very valuable resources. Through it I learned about Educator Forever that has helped me with the transition beyond the classroom. Thank you for giving me the confidence that there are careers that will value my years as an educator.
It allowed me to look at my options as I transition out of the classroom.
Flexjobs is my favorite job board. They take the remote experience and put it at the top of what they offer, and because of that, I feel confident that the employers who post here are in sync with my most important values.
Because I love the service and I've used it multiple times now.
At the beginning of my subscription, everyone was extremely kind and easy to work with. The coach and resume services were top notch. I have had many copies of my resume but this one is by far the greatest one yet created.
I think this service is great and gives people access to a lot of jobs that aren't available from other sites. The one thing that could be tweaked is filter/search features. I was looking for positions related to educators, and the Education Consulting section has a ton of jobs that are teaching/training in professions completely unrelated to education. I understand the overlap, but if there's a way to separate those, it would be helpful.
I haven't used this subscription a lot in the past 8 months because I got a full-time remote job through an agency. I really liked your webinars and attended many before I got my job last September. I didn't find a lot of jobs that I applied to on here, but it was nice having the articles and support. I would continue now that I need to find another job, but I only cannot afford it right now. But I do appreciate getting another seven days for free. That's great.
The search engine is fancy but not accurate. All Commute doesn't mean all commute because when you read the job descrip. Says you have to live in that state or no further than 100 miles. When you click on a job title it takes you to the company site to complete a long application and take numerous tests. So basically you are paying monthly fees for a link to click on. Not effective. Waste of money.
Dear NR D. - Thank you for your feedback on the search, and we have made a bunch of significant improvements in that area in the past few months (http://www.flexjobs.com/searchOptions.aspx). Also, please be aware that we offer a satisfaction, and if you aren't satisfied, simply ask for a refund. It's honestly that easy. (http://www.flexjobs.com/Pricing.aspx)
I have gotten helpful feedback from the Flexjobs coaching team and watched a few of the webinars. The information has helped me change my resume to one I am hopeful will get more responses and result in a job offer.
Curated job postings and advice while restarting my job search
Decent experience overall. The website could be a bit more intuitive; e.g. when logging in from mobile, users shouldn't have to go into the menu to find the Log in link. Why not place it right on the home page?
Everything I've looked at so far on FlexJobs has been helpful. I'm reserving the fifth star only because I haven't truly begun my job search yet, so I can't speak to how effective FJ is in that regard (yet). I have a good feeling about it, though.
I'm looking for an honest work-from-home job and really appreciate and trust the vetting that FlexJobs does, so I don't have to worry about being scammed.
Flexjobs helped me to land a telecommute job quickly by filtering out all the junk ads and fly-by-night work from home schemes. The staff does an amazing job at providing the best telecommute listings! Their expertise and communication is top-notch!
Hello Debbie! Congratulations on your new position! We love hearing that people are finding legitimate jobs without having to weed through the scams and junk by using our site. We appreciate your kind words about your interactions with our staff. We wish you all the best in your new job! The FlexJobs Team
I found that some jobs that they advertised as "New" and posted for "Today" were already filled according to the companies websites. I really question that their information regarding their claim to have the most up-to-date listings.
Also, when I asked them to cancel my subscription up though the date I had paid for, they canceled it immediately and did not allow me access to for the days I had already paid. No refund.
I would try another job site first.

In 2007, FlexJobs founder and CEO - Sara Sutton - was looking for something better after losing her full-time job. She was already seven months pregnant with her first child and needed something that was going to be flexible but still help further her career. Sara knew these jobs existed but was overwhelmed trying to find them. That’s when the idea for FlexJobs came: A site where job seekers could find professional-level, legitimate work-from-home jobs, all in one place, without the ads, scams or junk found on other sites.
Dear Syb,
The jobs listed on FlexJobs reflect the jobs available in the market, and we currently have over 20,000 listed... but we realize that doesn't mean we will have "good job leads" for every job seeker within 3 days. There are some markets that are abundant with jobs, and if you're a candidate looking in those markets, you will see more job leads. However, if you're looking for a "remote neurosurgeon" job, for example, we have only seen two of them in about 5 years. Similarly, if you're looking for an executive level job, there are fewer of those in the general job market (as well as the flexible job market) than in the management and entry level tiers.
That's one of the reasons we offer a minimum subscription of a month, since most job searches benefit from more than a few days of searching. But that's also why we offer a Satisfaction Guarantee, and d as I've written in previous responses: I'm sorry if our service wasn't a fit for what you were looking for, and please simply request a refund. We want people who use our site to feel satisfied with their experience, no matter what (http://www.flexjobs.com/Pricing.aspx)
Best regards, and we hope you've found a good employment situation in the meantime.
