By joining FlexJobs, I was able to find a 100% work from home position as a Marketing Manager in the US for a global tech company headquartered in Belgium. I signed up for Flexjobs $5 a month plan to explore this resource. I was caught off guard by an annual cost and thought surely I've signed up for something wrong. I was able to "talk" with Lucas and he was able to refund the full subscription and set me up on the monthly plan I initially wanted. He was professional and listened to my goals and reasons for using this service and helped me pick the right options. Within 10 minutes he had everything worked out and emailed to me for confirmation. His help is what made me sign up instead of just asking for a refund.
I teach high school and plan on using this resource to help students explore remote job opportunities and see trends in industries on how to help students prepare for life after high school (resume building, video interview skills, etc.). After numerous attempts, I was unable to successfully filter so that posted positions fit my desired listings. If I ask for PART TIME, the filter also shows FULL TIME positions. If I ask for WORK FROM HOME, it also shows listings that are hybrid or on site, etc. etc.

Most of the jobs are very old and they mostly require you to be residing in US or any other related country. After checking about 50+ jobs, I came across just two jobs that didn't have any location requirement.

I canceled my subscription for Flexjobs back in November 2023 and even received a confirmation that my subscription had been canceled. However, I was recently and randomly charged for a subscription on May 5th 2024. I sent a message and, as advertised on the site, would receive a response within one business day. But I did not, so I sent a 2nd message. Still no response. Finally, the support chat became available, which was not available beforehand.
After letting the Customer Service Representative know my situation, he began to try and upsell me the services! Then after stating I didn't want the services, he tries to upsell me again! Eventually, he states that the refund will be issued but only about half of the amount! Now I need to through a new dispute process which will further waste my time because of this scam move by Flexjobs. Don't get involved with this company! You are much better off finding the remote leads by searching these job boards yourself.
